Welcome to Lago Vista. We offer our home as a retreat for old friends and new friends to enjoy. We think you will find it to be a relaxing escape, no matter what the season. Enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful panoramic view of Greer’s Ferry lake and Sugarloaf Mountain and miles and miles beyond. Our family has enjoyed many days on this lake, as well as the great golf courses, tennis courts and many other recreational opportunities here. But the best thing about Lago Vista is that, for a few days, it can belong to you.
The home’s décor is casually elegant. There are 4 bedrooms (2 of which are masters) with 3 full baths and one ½ bath. Nine separate beds can easily accommodate 3 families and can sleep as many as 16 people including the large sofas. MBR 1 - king bed, MBR 2 - queen and full/twin bunk, BR 3 - queen and full/twin bunk, BR 4-2 queens. There is a modern fully equipped kitchen as well as a propane grill on the deck. 2 living areas with large flat screen TVs and blue ray dvd players (netflix capable). The downstairs recreation room and den has a pool table that can be converted for ping pong. Our 2 huge decks featuring plenty of seating including 2 porch swings, offer views as far as your eyes can see. After a day at the lake or golf course – there is plenty to do at the house – play ping pong, pool, watch TV or movies with plenty of room to stretch out enjoy the view and make great memories.
Fairfield Bay wraps around the north shore of beautiful Greers Ferry lake, a 50-mile long, 40,000 acre clean mountain lake with 343 miles of shoreline. The Fairfield Bay Marina is your center for water recreation, renting ski boats and skis, party barges, boat slips and houseboats. Sightseeing trips, dinner cruises and the Sugarloaf Mountain Shuttle are a few of the excursions offered at the marina.

Wonderful Lake Get-Away Home
I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Lago Vista. From the day of booking all the way through the stay, the owner Fred was so very helpful in working with our group's needs and giving us all the tips and info we needed. The Fairfield Bay community itself is fantastic- we didn't have time to enjoy all of the amenities but hope to come back soon and do the parts we missed. There is putt putt, a beautiful swimming pool, basketball, volleyball, shuffle board, hiking, and even a bowling alley! The house itself was great- plenty of comfortable beds for all to sleep with extra towels and wash cloths. The kitchen was excellently stocked. We cooked every night. Two separate living spaces plus pool and ping pong table were also fun. My favorite part had to be the awesome back deck with million dollar views of sugar loaf mountain. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck drinking coffee, catching up, and spending time in God's Word. We rented a pontoon boat from Fairfield Bay Marina which I would highly recommend doing. It is a great way to see the lake. We also rented jet skiis which were a blast. Swimming and cliff jumping was a highlight. If you go, be sure to do the hike up Sugar Loaf Mountain. The views are incredible and well worth the (moderately strenuous) hike!
We hope to come back to Lago Vista soon!
Wow Allison! Thanks for those kind words about our favorite place on earth. We are so glad you enjoyed your time there and thanks for taking the time to share your experience with others. Come back soon!
Beautiful views, comfortable space and great accommodations for a large group!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It has 2 decks for enjoying the view of Sugar Loaf Mountain and sunrise and sunsets, which are beautiful. There are 2 great spaces for gathering and relaxing and it is super convenient to the playground area for kids, the little supermarket for forgotten last minute items and recreational activities like fishing and boating at the marina, hiking Sugar Loaf Mountain, etc. A wonderful and perfect place to make family
Amazing !!!! Falling short of more words 😀
Everything about this property is superb , we were four couples with two toddlers , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The house was fully stocked with all we need , kitchenware and towels , it was just like Home ... the views are way better than the pictures here ... we did the sugar loaf mountain hike with our toddlers and headed to the mountain with a boat that takes you from the marina ,the hike was doable with kids and again the views were spectacular!! I would recommend this place to everyone .,.. definitely a five star property , owners were helpful too !
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Fairfield Bay is a great place to be at any time of the year. The air gets really clear in the fall, winter and spring, as humidity drops, so our view is even more spectacular during the next few months . We are about to start a major project so we will have all new flooring for your next visit. Come back soon!
Beautiful view! Informative owners!!
The house is beautiful! The views are extraordinary! The house was clean and even our guest cards had been picked up and were there waiting for us. Mr. Huggins provided an abundance of information that was very useful in guiding our stay with ideas on what to do and places to eat or purchase necessities. We had such a relaxing stay!
House and view is very nice
The first day, the neighbor said I had a loud family and the area was normally very peaceful. He did apoligize as we were packing up to pull out in the morning, and asked what brought us to vacation at Fairfield Bay. I explained how I was sharing a bit of my childhood and memories of visiting my grandparents.
The house is absolutely beautiful! There were a few maintenance things that needed to be repaired, but we chose not to have them tearing out the built in oven during our week.
Loved having most of my kids and grandkids under one roof! The lake is absolutely wonderful, just as I remembered it. Seeing the gray squirrels and flying squirrels(sugar gliders) was a lot of fun for all of us.
We spent most of our time in the water, and evenings on the deck enjoying the view and nature around us.
Sorry about the interaction with the neighbors. This is the first time our neighbors have ever complained about noise in the 4 years we have been renting our home. We are only one of 3 homes at the end of a culdesac so it feels very private. We do have one house next door. They are delightful people. Our home is not meant to be a party house and we make that clear in our house rules.
As far as maintenance issues, the main oven was functioning fine but the smaller lower oven needed a fuse replacement. I did ask if the repairmen could fix it but you preferred to wait. It is hard to get repairs done when you are working around guests, especially in July when we are fully booked. I do, however, apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Lovely home with fabulous views, great beds and linens, large, stocked kitchen, and plenty to keep children (of all ages) busy!
Fairfield Bay is the perfect base to explore the Ozark Mountain Area. The Buffalo National River, Little Red River, Mountain View Folk Center, Blanchard Springs Caverns, Greers Ferry Dam and Branson are all great day trips. The truth is you may not want to leave Fairfield Bay. Enjoy beautiful Greers Ferry Lake, 2 golf courses, beautiful pools, tennis courts, putt putt golf, bowling, excellent restaurants, hiking trails and a lot more within our city limits. Hiking Sugarloaf Miss is a 'don't miss' experience.
