The apartment is newly renovated with all modern appliances, but still keeps the charm of the bourgeois urban mansion with original tiles and hardwood floors and very high ceilings. The house is very safe and calm as it is gated. In the summer, you can have breakfast or barbecues in the private garden of the house.
You will have access to the entire apartment. The apartment has a private entrance on the side of the house. The entrance leads into the kitchen/living area located on the first floor. This level also includes a small bathroom with shower and toilet. A big staircase leads up to the second floor which includes a first bedroom, a beautiful original 1820 tiled bathroom with bathtub and a second large bedroom/living area. This second bedroom/living area includes a sofa bed suited for two people. The sofa bed is very comfortable as it includes a memory form "pillow top" additional mattress.
The apartment is in a very quiet, calm and safe area as it is gated. There is a large park right across the street from the house ideal for children.The apartment is a 5 minute walk away from the center of Joinville with grocery stores, a food market on Thursdays and Sundays, wine, cheese, and meat stores.
The apartment is a 7 minute walk to the RER A "Joinville-le-Pont" station. This train takes you to the center of Paris in 15 minutes. 5 minutes from the apartment is also an "auto-lib" station where you can rent electric city cars. Paris and nearby suburbs include numerous "auto-lib" stations where you can drop off and park the rented car.
I will meet you at our apartment on your arrival to give you the keys and show you the apartment. I will also be available throughout your stay in case you have any questions regarding the apartment or in the unlikely event that you have a problem.
