As a fairly young, retired couple we live near the Black Forest in Germany. For over 30 years we have been very active in the international European Antique Market and in addition she is a successful freelance artist.

For over 20 years we have been looking for a vacation home in Europe. In 2011 we visited Cape Coral, Florida for the first time and were very impressed. During our second visit in 2012 it became very clear, that this is the place where we want to spend a part time of our life in the future.
As our Real Estate Agent guided us through the house we immediately felt a positive energy, which created the impression as if we had lived part of our life here. This certainly felt like the piece of paradise which we had been looking for, and there was no other choice, than to purchase the house. This same aura affects us each time we return and many of our guests confirm this phenomenon.
The home was just as pictured on the vrbo website. It was landscaped nicely. The furnishings were very well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen, along with linens and towels for the bedrooms and bath. Excellent views of the canal. The pool was heated to a warm and relaxing temperature. The home is also very close to restaurants, shopping and not too far from the beach. There are lots of fantastic restaurants for lunch or dinner. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and a tranquil setting, this is the home for you. The property- manager, was very easy to work with and always available whenever we needed him. He responded quickly to phone calls and emails.
We would highly recommend this home and want to thank the owners, allowing us to stay in their beautiful home. Looking forward to going back next year.
We enjoyed our four week stay at "The Artist". The home was clean, spacious and open, with a southern canal exposure. Lovely art and mural. The pool was smaller...more of a "dipper" than a "lapper"... but was perfect for us. The lanai area was lovely and the property was well-maintained. Close to amenities. Ivo, the property manager was very helpful and informative. Quiet area with nice neighbors. TV reception had some interruptions.
Blessed by perfect weather, we enjoyed staying in The Artist. The home is spacious and well appointed. The pool, lanai, and patio have a private orientation. Ivo, the property manager, is great. Perfection!
Very nice open floor plan and pool area with lounge chairs, outdoor grill and table for dining that was under roof cover. Sliding glass doors from the inside living areas open to the pool. Large TV but reception on internet TV was sporadic at times. The property is clean and well maintained. Outside grounds are well kept. The care taker was very accommodating and attentive to any issues. While the house is not on the beach, the neighborhood was quiet and the location was convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again.

We had a wonderful stay and the weather was perfect every day
allowing us to have the doors open and soft breezes flowing through
the living area. We loved the openness to the pool area and were
amazed at how clean the screening stayed. Not anything on it
even after three weeks! We enjoyed the spaciousness. The kitchen
was well equipped, the TV area very comfortable, and the master
bedroom suite very well laid out and pleasant.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to anyone. The location is excellent, it is a short drive to shopping, restaurants and beach yet while you are there it is very relaxing and peaceful. The home is very clean and well maintained. It is filled with many modern upgrades and everything you need for day to day living. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is great, and we really enjoyed the huge sliding doors from the living room to the screened in pool area. The property manager Ivo is very nice and quickly takes care of any minor problems. If our vacation plans ever have us returning to the Cape Coral area, we would love to stay at this home again.

* Up to the 30th day before commencement of Tenancy: 100% of rental price.
