The property is an extremely well located three bedroom apartment that was extensively renovated in 2015 to early 2016. Rented since March 2017 on Home Away. The apartment is well-suited for older children (six and up) and adults. The beauty of this convenient location is the nice, quiet neighbourhood removed from the hustle and bustle of the main South Coast Road but yet a mere two minute walk to the gorgeous Accra Beach. In very close proximity to the scenic south coast boardwalk (perfect for evening strolls) and many South Coast amenities. Close by (easy walking) is Chefette (Barbados' McDonalds), Quayside Centre (convenience store, great coffee, ice-cream, pizza, chocolate shop, chinese food, fresh grilled fish, raw juice bar and more), Lewis Drug Mart, Scotia Bank, Bubbas Sports Bar, Tiki Bar, Champers Restaurant (fine dining), Mojos, Berts Bar and more. Many other amenities are a short drive away including Lanterns Mall (with a slew of great restaurants, convenience store, pharmacy & bank), Massy Supermarket, Carlisle Bay (excellent for diving & snorkelling), historic Garrison area (part of a UNESCO World Heritage site, tennis courts, squash courts & more. Many medical facilities are also close by including offices of GP's, a paediatrician, urgent care, small private hospital, Barbados Fertility Clinic and the main public hospital. Bridgetown is easily accessible as a 2 min walk will get you to a bus top with a direct route along the coast to town. There is also a taxi stand very close by at Accra Beach. If renting a car, you can park right outside the entrance to the apt. The apartment is one of three in a well constructed mature building and is located on the ground floor. The other two apartments are rented to long term tenants. The apartment is set well back from the neighbourhood street with a nice lawn and thick hedge. There is little to no road noise on the relatively quiet street. The apartment is bright and airy with large windows in every room. The 2016 refurbishment included replacement of electrical wiring, re-tiling throughout with attractive ceramic tiles, replacement of bathroom fittings and fixtures and re-tiling of showers, replacement of kitchen counter tops, construction of new kitchen cupboards and repainting to interior and exterior of building. New appliances including: stove, large fridge, microwave, iron (and ironing board) washer/dryer. New air-condition units were installed in all three bedrooms. New curtains to all windows. Most of the furnishings are brand new. There are security grills at all windows and two exterior doors. A small covered back patio overlooks a private and pleasant back garden with flowering shrubs and vines. This area is completely fenced. The landscaping is well looked after. There is a clothes line in the back garden available for use to all three tenants. From time to time monkeys play in the trees around the property, they are entertaining to watch but please do not try to interact with them. Bedroom 1) has a queen bed and a small en suite bathroom with toilet and shower. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, one with partial side railings. Suitable for adults or children. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed (with a single bed pull-out). Bedroom 2 and 3 have dressing tables with large mirrors and share the second bathroom (large bathroom - hair dryer in cupboard). Towels and bedsheets provided and extras are stored in apt and can be used as needed. Beach towels (striped) and a beach tote bag provided. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and coffeemaker. Cutlery, crockery and saucepans provided. There is one TV with access to satellite channels in the living area. WIFI is included. For stays greater than one week we will provide cleaning on a day of your choice (change sheets, wash towels, sweep and mop, clean up kitchen and bathrooms). We ask tenants to respect the privacy and contentment of others in the building. No smoking is allowed in the apt and no pets are allowed.

Had relatives living in this neighbourhood all my life and always liked the area. The property was originally the family home of a Barbadian doctor and is of solid construction with thick walls and a traditional style of a bygone era. In more recent times the property was converted to three apartments. When we purchased the building Apt 3 was in need of renovation and we thought it would be an attractive option for vacationers in Barbados.

Lovely apartment in excellent location
We have just returned from a very enjoyable 6 weeks in Barbados staying at 25 Blue Waters. We got a taxi from the airport and was met by Kristina who showed us the ins and outs of the apartment.
The apartment itself is well presented and has just about everything you need for your stay including a good range of kitchen essentials, we did a lot of cooking and I must say I was delighted with the oven. Bedroom 2 & 3 both have built in wardrobes and a dressing table, the master bedroom is a very generous size with a king sized bed which was very comfortable however, we did feel that the master bedroom would benefit from a wardrobe and mirror. We used bedroom 2 as a dressing room but did end up sharing hanging space when our family arrived. All the bedrooms have air conditioning which runs very quietly. A good powerful hairdryer is provided.
The main bathroom is well equipped with a good shower and lots of space to put toiletries. The en-suite in the master bedroom is a big plus, it is quite small and would benefit from some shelving to put on toiletries.
Beach towels are provided and a beach bag which was very useful and saves space in your suitcase.
As people have mentioned before the birds around the apartment are wonderful to watch we just loved the little visits from the sparrow and the telling off he gave us when we shooed him out!! The monkeys are so wonderful to watch and come to the garden regularly they always made our day.
The location of the apartment is excellent just a 5 minute walk down to the beach and the shops and restaurants. There is a food court in The Quayside please don't be put off they are not like most food courts, all the food is freshly prepared our favourite was the chicken kebabs the owner is so friendly and chatty.
A special thank you to Kristina for allowing us to stay in the apartment longer on our last day, our flight was in the evening so being able to use the apartment was a godsend.

A great apartment with everything you need in and great location too.
Having been to Barbados before with a friend, I knew exactly the area where I wanted to take my 3 teenage daughters and partner. I love Accra Beach and the surrounding area with local shops close by, the funky small mini buses, ($2 per person) just flag them down and they’ll drop you off where ever you want to go and the convenience of the location... so when I found Zary and Kristina’s apartment I was so pleased, it ticked all the boxes.
We arrived to be greeted by Zary who showed us around the apartment, it had everything we needed. We dropped our bags changed out of our clothes into shorts and headed straight to the beach for a paddle and happy hour at a great bar called Blakey’s right on the boardwalk just a beautiful stroll along Accra Beach onto Hastings, turning right following the boardwalk and you will find it. Great to watch the sunsets....Tapas restaurant is a must too ...
The Apartment was a great base for everything we wanted to see and do. It was clean had a very well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds. Linen and towels provided with extra if needed. Air conditioned bedrooms perfect for night time ... outside space to sit and have breakfast and watch the beautiful birds fly around and at night listen to the singing frogs . The apartment was away from the main road so very quiet at night. We had a washing machine and dryer and a line outside too. It felt safe and secure ( not that I’ve ever felt unsafe in Barbados) . We all loved it, I can’t recommend the apartment and Barbados enough ...
A must is a trip on Tiama cruises, we were well looked after , great food and amazing snorkelling with turtles and lovely friendly staff, great value for money ... Another great beach is Carlisle bay lots of snorkelling and shipwrecks to explore definitely more turtles to find.. Ouistins is a must on a Friday night for fish Friday ... market by day and Friday fish to eat and watch it being cooked by night .. St Lawrence’s Gap is a must too and a meal at Cafe Sol .. great place to explore at night and day ...
