If you want a modern holiday home, which is pet friendly and provides easy access to the village centre, as well as several ski runs and lifts, Treetops 6 is the property for you! Drive straight up and into the single car garage with internal access so you can conveniently unload all your luggage without getting frostbite! The ground level entrance has slate tile floors, a long wooden bench for taking off boots or ski gear after a long day and plenty of hooks for hanging coats and jackets. The den is located on this level and has a sofa, coffee table and a Murphy double bed which pulls out of a large wooden cupboard on the wall, in case you want to use the room for sleeping. With a large TV, X-Box with plenty of games and VHS player, this area of the house would also be an ideal kids (or adults) retreat. There’s even a two way bathroom, with access from both the den and hallway, which has a shower, toilet and vanity.
Up the stairs on the landing is another full bathroom, with a bath/shower, stylish granite vanity and toilet, just a couple of steps down from the living areas on the first level of the house.
This property showcases open-plan living at its best, with ample living space that is well laid-out. Whip up scrumptious meals in the galley-style kitchen, fitted with topline stainless steel appliances including a large fridge, oven with rangehood and ceramic cooktop, microwave and of course a dishwasher so you don’t have to worry about spending your vacation doing dishes! The kids can eat at the breakfast bar or friends can provide moral support or interesting conversation while meals are being prepared. The walk-in pantry has loads of room for groceries and even has a bar fridge so you can stock up on groceries or keep the drinks cool! If you can’t start your day or hit the slopes without a caffeine hit, you’ll be pleased to know there’s a coffee machine ready and waiting for you!
The dining area is at the end of the kitchen and has a 6 seater wooden table. You’ll no doubt spend many hours around the table once you discover the great board game collection by the river rock fireplace! You can snuggle up on the long red leather couch in front of the fire in the lounge area, or the two single black leather chairs. Choose a DVD from the cabinet, sit back and enjoy on the large flatscreen TV or grab a glass of wine, plug your iPod into the dock and relax while listening to your favourite tunes. If you’ve been exploring the mountain all day, you’ll probably want to try out the hot tub on the deck off the living room to ease those aching muscles. There’s also a BBQ on the deck for those nights when you don’t want to wash up too many pots and pans!
Head up to the second level of the property to find three bedrooms. The master suite is roomy, catches plenty of natural light and has a king bed. You can hide away your luggage in the large walk-in robe and once that’s out of the way, lie back and flick through the programs on the large flatscreen TV. The ensuite has a bath/shower, toilet and granite vanity with long horizontal mirror.
The second bedroom off the carpeted landing is equally as comfortable for a couple, with a queen bed, bedside tables with reading lamps, chest of drawers, TV and built-in-robe with ample hanging space for ski gear or winter woolies. The kids will love staying together in the third bedroom, which has two single bunk beds so can sleep 4. It also has generous closet space.
There’s a bathroom off the landing with another full bath/shower, toilet, vanity and large mirror for primping and preening if you’re heading out in the village. A washer/dryer is tucked away in a closet on the landing.
