My friends and I stayed at this property for my birthday weekend. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. We loved gathering around the firepit and stargazing at night! We had a great weekend.
What a wonderful time everyone had at Lake Huntington. The house is huge and filled with charm. Room for everyone and a wonderful view of the lake. The home owners greeted us when we first arrive(Terry) and answered everyones questions. Lila helped me with all our pretrip needs. Very easy people to work with, Kayaks, canoes, swimming and lots of laughs come with this rental. Thank you for sharing your grand old home (1890).
This is a large, beautiful house across the road from a picturesque lake. A group of nine of us stayed comfortably, as the house has plenty of beds and bathrooms. There is also a very nice backyard and the house comes with everything you need for a great weekend -- outdoor tables, gas and coal BBQs, plus a canoe and kayaks for the lake.
Lila and Terry were amazing hosts. They gave us lots of advice on things to see and do in the area, stayed in touch to ensure we knew how to get to the house, and were very accommodating and responsive to our requests during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
This house is perfectly situated across the street from a gorgeous lake. My whole crew spent most of our time on the private floating dock with it's attached fire pit. I'm sure if the weather wasn't better, we would have stayed in the huge downstairs and on the giant porch or even in the idyllic backyard. I should also mention that the owner is attentive and responsive. Will definitely rent again in the future.
Lila was great and the house was large with a lot of charm. The lake is beautiful and great for swimming. The property had a big side lawn and front porch for relaxing and taking in the surroundings. Everything you need is pretty close by.... gas station/corner store down the road, beer distributor Gasko a few doors down. Dinner at Tony's on the Lake was very accommodating to a large group with good service and good food.
We went lazy river tubing down the delaware river about 10 minutes away from a company called Lander's. This was a very relaxing, fun and memorable activity. This house was the perfect location for a summer mountain/woods getaway.
Lila--Thank you for everything.
