3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Cabin On The South Fork Of The Shenandoah River.
River's Edge is the perfect house for couples or small families looking for a quiet getaway. There is plenty to do at the cabin or within a 15 minute drive. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 full, 1 queen, 1 full), 2 full baths, gas grill, and a covered deck overlooking the river. There is a fire pit overlooking the river for quiet evening campfires. A canoe, 2 kayaks, and tubes are also available for fun in the river. We prefer no more than 4 responsible adults or a family of 6. Although for most guests it isn't an issue, please note that the yard does slope down to the river. The cabin is located 5 miles north of Luray and just a short drive to Shenandoah National Park and Andy Guest State Park.

About Jeff and Lori Perry
My husband I are both teachers who moved to Virginia from Maryland about 16 years ago.
Jeff and Lori Perry purchased this House in 2000
Why Jeff and Lori Perry chose Rileyville
We love the quiet and beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. We were fortunate enough to find this property right on the river where we could build our own cabin. Nothing beats having the Shenandoah River right out your front door.
What makes this House unique
We can swim, fish, and canoe right from the house. Evening campfires overlooking the river are the perfect way to spend an evening after a day in the water. There is plenty to do without leaving the house.

My family had a great time staying at Rivers Edge! The place had everything you needed for a family gathering- from indoor games to outdoor games of corn hole and use of two kayaks on the river, well equipped kitchen for preparing family dinners, a comfy living room area, comfy beds, and a fantastic wrap around front porch with views of the river. What impressed our family the most was the cleanliness of the house and the hospitality of the hosts. You could not ask for better hosts! Thank you Lori for all your kindness and use of your lovely home! We can't wait to come back!
Second Time Visitor!

We're so glad you enjoyed your return visit to River's Edge. Hopefully it won't feel like winter if you come back next spring. We're glad you were able to get out in the canoe and kayaks. Thank you for leaving the house in such good condition. We appreciate it!
A great trip for the Kids
We stayed for 4 nights at this wonderful cabin. The kids had a blast. We took short trips to go hiking, spelunking, and visit lots of animals. The cabin was perfect and we had a great time fishing in the river.
Thank you! We're glad you enjoyed your stay.
Our family enjoyed the house and our stay. Thank you!!
It was great!
We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for leaving the cabin in excellent condition.
Beautiful, quiet, cosy, clean cabin on the river
Great location right on the river. Beautiful quiet spot. Clean and fully equipped cabin. Fantastic experience overall!
This was a great property in a great location. Highly recommend staying here. We never saw the hosts but we knew they were right next door if we needed anything. Only down side was the beds not being comfortable. It was tough staying asleep throughout the night.
We understand that individuals have different sleeping preferences and are sorry that our arrangements didn't meet your expectations. We are glad that it didn't keep you from enjoying the area.
