About Dan Linge

Keystone has been always been a big part of my family's life. My Dad was one of the original investors when the mountain opened for skiing on November 21, 1970. My sister, brother, Mom and Dad were all there that day when we broke a bottle of champagne on the Argentine Chairlift to christen the opening. It was my Dad's love for skiing that got me hooked at very young age.

I was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, but knew I wanted to go to college in Colorado, because of Keystone etc. Getting to Keystone from the University of Denver was an easy drive in my Ford Torino. My parents had a smaller condo at that time at Wild Irishman, so it was never a problem to find friends to join me for a weekend in the '70's.

When the River Run area of Keystone was developed in the mid '90's, we sold off the other condos and purchased #8194 Silver Mill. It's the largest condo in the building and has a killer location and easy to walk to the lifts. Being on one level was a plus too.

For the last 30 years my wife Beth and I have raised our kids in Encinitas, CA (San Diego). Also, they were raised on skiing/boarding at Keystone. I've owned this place since 1997 when it was built. I'm able to offer my 7 FREE DAILY LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE SKI PASSES to friends who rent the condo. It's a great perk and saves a lot of money!

I have much sentimental value attached to this area because both of my parents are gone now. Keystone is our second home. After you stay there, you'll feel the same way and will call me every year to rebook. Thanks!

Room to spread out

I can't say enough about how pleased we were to stay at this condo. I have four teenagers, two who use power wheel chairs. Obviously we need a lot of room and this condo was perfect for our family. Everyone had there own bed and there were plenty of bathrooms. The living space was HUGE and we had room to spread out. The best part of our experience was working with the owner, a fellow midwesterner. Dan was prompt, gracious, and kind. A true gentlemen. We will return the next time we are in Keystone.

Roomy Condo in Silver Mill at RIver Run in Keystone

This condo was perfect for our six brother's/sister's re-union! Not only is this a great place to stay in the winter, but summer in the Silver Mill condo is wonderful also! (The free ski passes were a summertime plus to ride the gondola up the mountaintop.) Dan was tremendous to deal with and so very pleasant and accommodating. The view off the deck was toward the creek and beautiful with all of the flowers. We loved the location of this large condo which gave us access to all of the activities and restaurants. We are sure to rent here again.

We WILL be back!

Wow! Great Place. Wonderful location, nicely appointed and everything in great working order (may seem obvious, but is NOT always the case!).

We had 3 couples and 3 children in the unit and it was still spacious and roomy and never felt crowded.

The location was excellent: close to the lifts and right in the heart of the village. Truly, a great place.

However, need to give shouts out to Dan for his responsiveness to any and all questions (even some asked twice!) Dan was simply great at dealing with us and simply stated, delivers on exactly what he says. No surprises anywhere in the experience.

Oh yeah, did I mention the lift tickets. Really makes the experience even more enjoyable for the part-time skiers in our party!

We will be back and can recommend this place without ANY reservation.

Coming back next year!

I don't think I can recommend this condo highly enough! We had 4 adults, and 17, 13, 11 and 9 year old kids in the condo for 4 nights. There was plenty of room for all, and the layout was great as far as where the bathrooms were in relation to bedrooms so that both adult couples had privacy. There was enough comfy seating in the main room so that we could all be out there and not feel crowded. The dining area was also easily able to accomodate us for meals, and the kitchen was well equipped.

The accessibility to the gondola/first lift was great. Even the 9 year old was able to make the walk easily in her ski boots. This was our first ski trip where we came back to the condo for lunch, which was relaxing, gave a better rest than eating in the slope restaurants, and certainly saved some money. Being right in the middle of the village was fun, and provided easy access to walk around at night.

It was our first trip to Keystone, and we all agreed that it had a lot of advantages over Vail. We did some night skiing, which my 17 year old son particularly liked. I enjoyed that it was more compact than Vail, so that I felt comfortable letting the kids have a little more freedom. Even with the smaller size, there was enough slope variety and different levels that no one was bored. Wild Irishman and Flying Dutchman were two favorites.

Dan is a GREAT owner. He was always fast with responses to questions, gave some good tips as to making the best of the trip and was in general just easy to deal with. The ski passes made the whole thing a total bargain! We have already booked for next year.

You Can't Beat The Location!

You are just a few steps to the Gondola. Walking outside of the building you are in the middle of shopping, dining and night life. We found our unit to be clean and fully functional for our needs. The locker helped store our ski stuff without dragging it all back up stairs.

The lift tickets were awesome, it can't be beat. I didn't have to feel guilty about how much or little we skied that day. The location made it nice to be so close we could take a break for lunch, and then back on the lift. If I didn't ski I spent the day cooking in the kitchen, which is fairly stocked with everything you need.

Dan was great to work with, really fast response time. Fast with communication and with getting the security deposit back to me! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

The Best Family Vacation Ever

We have rented many places over last few years for family vacations and this by far was the best. We have 2 young adult sons and finding a place where older adults and younger adults can all be together and separate AND have fun doing a range of various activites is rare.

This place has it all. There were 9 of us and plenty of room in this well furnished and expansive condo. The 7 passes were clutch! Some days the adults only skied in the morning and young adults in the afternoon. The ability to switch things around with our ski scheduling was easy. The apres ski was great. Hot tubs, pools, and sauna (in master bedroom) made it easy to relax. The guys would play pool in activity room or go out to local brew spots at night while keeping it quiet for us older adults who needed our sleep!

This by far has been a great memory we will have with our family and friends forever. The mountains are beautiful, Keystone, Breckenridge and Arapahoe were great family mountains. We hope to come back soon.

If you enjoy golf, you'll love hitting a ball at 9500' elevation! Keystone offers 2 fantastic courses...The River Course and Keystone Ranch. Both are very unique and the views and layout are awesome. Some of the summer activities include river rafting, alpine sliding, fishing, mountain biking etc. I always tell people if you enjoy the winters at Keystone wait till you come out for the Summer. The aroma of the lodgepole pine trees are amazing. The sky is bluer and the stars brighter at nighttime. In the summer, it's always a comfortable 75 degrees and low humidity which is typical of the mountains.
