About Dan Linge

Keystone has been always been a big part of my family's life. My Dad was one of the original investors when the mountain opened for skiing on November 21, 1970. My sister, brother, Mom and Dad were all there that day when we broke a bottle of champagne on the Argentine Chairlift to christen the opening. It was my Dad's love for skiing that got me hooked at very young age.

I was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, but knew I wanted to go to college in Colorado, because of Keystone etc. Getting to Keystone from the University of Denver was an easy drive in my Ford Torino. My parents had a smaller condo at that time at Wild Irishman, so it was never a problem to find friends to join me for a weekend in the '70's.

When the River Run area of Keystone was developed in the mid '90's, we sold off the other condos and purchased #8194 Silver Mill. It's the largest condo in the building and has a killer location and easy to walk to the lifts. Being on one level was a plus too.

For the last 30 years my wife Beth and I have raised our kids in Encinitas, CA (San Diego). Also, they were raised on skiing/boarding at Keystone. I've owned this place since 1997 when it was built. I'm able to offer my 7 FREE DAILY LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE SKI PASSES to friends who rent the condo. It's a great perk and saves a lot of money!

I have much sentimental value attached to this area because both of my parents are gone now. Keystone is our second home. After you stay there, you'll feel the same way and will call me every year to rebook. Thanks!

Great location! So much to do in the Summer.

Right on the village, great parking, my family had a great stay, and a great time. We used this condo as a base for 2 mountain hikes,(one fourteener) two days of fly fishing, biking, boating, and a Beck concert at red rocks. A great Summer vacation spot.

Great location and value!

We had a fabulous 70th birthday celebration in this very spacious condo. Lots of laughs and tears were shared during the week. The location was perfect, the hot tubs were great and the views from the top of the mountain were magnificent! Dan, the owner, was so helpful in making this get-together of 6 life-long friends happen and gave us many great suggestions for where to eat. It was a wonderful week!

AWESOME IN EVERY WAY!!!!

This place is AWESOME!!! With three bedrooms and three bathrooms there was plenty of space for all seven of us. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked, location was perfect, condo was clean, check-in and check-out was super easy and Dan was the kindest and most helpful owner you will come across. Summer weather in the mountains is the BEST!! We walked, hiked, went summer tubing, rode the gondola, went to a free concert at the Dillon Amphitheater, shopped, swam, had great food and coffee and enjoyed the entire weekend. The amount of space in this condo is priceless for the comfort of all the guests. We seriously can't wait to go back again. Dan, thank you so much for sharing your condo, your knowledge and your kindness with us. We made family memories to last a lifetime!!!

Unit 8194 Keystone Silver Mill

We were here for a family wedding. June 8-13, 2017.

Condo was lovely, great accommodations. 3BD/3BA. Gorgeous view of the Summit and Keystone is just wonderful! (although expensive for food/drink) Not crowded in early June, but that also means some places are not open. No Big Deal for us.

Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, WiFi was great!

My only recommendation would be the living room furniture needs updating/replacement. It's pretty old and worn. Sofas and one recliner were kind of falling apart. While it didn't hamper our enjoyment of Keystone, something that might be considered.

All in all, a good time. We had not been to Keystone before. Loved it!

If you had any issues with the recliners, I wish you would have called maintenance. The sofas are 4 years old, but guests can be tough on them. Yes, the beds are comfortable. In fact, the king size bed to the far right bedroom was brand new. Your group was the first to use it. Glad you enjoyed everything else. Well, after 5 years and 52 Five Star only ratings you're the first guest to rate your stay below 5 Stars. I was hoping never to see that, because I believe in perfection but appreciate your response. Dan facilitates a most remarkable Spring skiing adventure. This is our second year back and it was wonderful, again. The condo is great. The location is great. And the ski passes make it all so easy.

Excellent Location- Great Owner

This condo is FANTASTIC. The location couldn't be any better. After getting all of our gear inside we didn't have to move the car again. It was a simple walk to the gondola and everyone was off skiing. We didn't even have to haul our skis and board back and forth as there is a ski check at the bottom of the gondola. The condo is beautiful and very comfortable. Dan the owner is great to work with. He was very helpful and sent an email with area suggestions and tips. We would definitely consider renting this one again as it's simply an A+ property.

If you enjoy golf, you'll love hitting a ball at 9500' elevation! Keystone offers 2 fantastic courses...The River Course and Keystone Ranch. Both are very unique and the views and layout are awesome. Some of the summer activities include river rafting, alpine sliding, fishing, mountain biking etc. I always tell people if you enjoy the winters at Keystone wait till you come out for the Summer. The aroma of the lodgepole pine trees are amazing. The sky is bluer and the stars brighter at nighttime. In the summer, it's always a comfortable 75 degrees and low humidity which is typical of the mountains.
