I live at La Tierra during most of the winter in a second condo that I also own. I purchased this unit for vacations rentals only. I'm a lawyer living in Iowa, and winter in Tempe, I graduated ASU, been in the real estate rental business for 30+ years. I've been on the Board of Directors of La Tierra Condo Association for4 years.

La Tierra is well managed and keep up; was giving a total facelift in 2009, repainted in 2014, this is a super location to everything in the valley. Pool redone in2016 & heated all winter to 82 degrees, great neighbors. Layout is perfect and comfortable, bedrooms separated. Once I purchased my place here I knew others would really enjoy staying here also. Hope you'll come give it a try. The hot tub is a great way to relax after a good game of golf or a walk or bike ride.
I tried to put just about everything I'd want in a place into this condo unit. You'll love the tile floors in the entry, dining area, kitchen, hallways, patio and bathrooms, yet carpeted for comfort in the living room and bedrooms. It is just a short walk to the pool and hot tub where many vacationers hangout each afternoon enjoying the AZ sun, or meet at cocktail hour, then there is grilling on those beautiful nights, and you can't beat those sun sets. All areas are well lit at night and you will feel very safe in this community.
The location is very convenient, we enjoyed several rounds of golf and went on a number of hiking trips during our stay. We had many options for both. A stop at the Jacuzzi and pool got to be part of our routine after both activities.
We cooked most of our meals in the condo during our 24 day stay and the kitchen had everything we needed.
The people around us were friendly and we felt like we had made some new friends.
The owner was available and reacted quickly to a couple of suggestions that we had.

The property was well kept up and the people were very friendly we had a marvels time and would come again, there is so much to do around the area from shows to eating out and all close by.
Condo was pristine with all amenities. Very nice neighbors who introduced themselves when they saw me. I was there for school and the area is very quiet...didn't even hear traffic. Grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Apx 20 min drive to airport, car rental facility at airport. Owners brother on property and very friendly and available if I had any questions. Highly recommend!!!

The property was well maintained, clean and comfortable. Photos were very accurate, and owner was available to answer any questions during our stay. Stores were within walking distance, and airport was about 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the nearby activities of golf, biking and hiking at South Mountain. I would recommend this property to others.

Good location for spring training baseballs games, close to 2 golf courses 1-2 miles, 4 miles from ASU; canal trial 1/3 mile, .25 miles to grocery, gas, bars, eateries, coffee shops, ice cream or yogert, pizza, bagels, burgers etc. On bus route. Shopping etc. downtown Tempe 4 miles, Scottsdale, 10 miles, Mesa 7 miles, Phx Suns, AZ Cardinals, ASU Sports, Coyotes Hockey, several Casinos w/in 5 miles, 40 minutes to Goodyear Nascar track; hot air balloning in valley. 5.5 hours to Vegas, 1.5 hours to Tucson, 2 hours to Sedona. On city bus route.
