Sleeps up to 6 people, Mirror Pond & Drake Park across the street
Almost everything that Bend has to offer is just a short walk away from this cottage. If you want to get out of Bend, Mt. Bachelor, lakes, hiking and mountain bike trails are all just a half hour away or less. Kayaking and floating the river are literally out the front door. Almost every weekend has a festival and/or live music in town.
Michael purchased this Cottage in 2000
Why Michael chose River West
There are few locations in the heart of Bend that are so centrally located to everything. It is in a charming neighborhood of older homes and every Wednesday during the summer is the farmer's market just a 5 minute walk. Thursday evenings include Munch n Music concerts in the park. Bakeries, pubs, restaurants, food carts, groceries and bike shop are a few blocks away.
What makes this Cottage unique
This updated cottage was built in 1939. It has a large atic space that was converted to a master bedroom with it's own private bath, office/computer work station that looks out over the neighborhood with a peek of the river. Back yard is wonderfully private with a small fire pit, and gas barbeque. Bring your bike, kayak, and paddle board.
5 days in Bend
This house was probably one of the best we have stayed in. Felt like home. Had everything we needed. Cannot wait to come stay there again.
Charming Bend Home
We had a wonderful time staying here. Excellent location. We parked our car and walked everywhere we wanted to go. Pictures and description very accurate. Will definitely stay again.
Perfect setting and location!
The home is warm and inviting. Lots of windows fill the space with light. Several sitting areas allowing people to sit and read or meditate quietly. Loved the fire pit in the private yard.
Charming home, great location
We loved staying in this cottage in old Bend. It was perfect for 2 couples. We walked to restaurants and brewpubs on Galveston and in old downtown. The pedestrian bridge to Drake park was perfect for viewing geese and goslings bobbing in the river. The house was spotless and very well stocked. I enjoyed coffee on the front porch watching the neighborhood come to life. We will gladly stay here again!!
Had a great stay at this lovely property! Was very clean and welcoming. It is in a great location and would definitely stay again next time we’re in Bend.
Perfect House in Old Bend
Charming, spotless house in a great location close
to downtown Bend and to the many restaurants
and shops on Galveston and Newport Avenues.
Would absolutely recommend it.
Incredible downtown location with Harmon and Drake Park across the street, pubs, restaurants, Newport Market, Bend festivals, and The Les Schwab Amphitheater a short walk/bike ride from the front door. The center of downtown Bend is a 5 minute walk. For families, the kids park is across the street and the downtown library is awesome..or walk over to Cuppa Yo for a great yogurt sundae.
