Take light rail from the airport and Metro Rapid Ride E Line just 2 blocks from the house! This three bedroom two floor suite is perfect for your needs! Enjoy the rich craftsman style and new features of this comfortable home in a central location. The home has 2 units this listing advertises the 3 bedroom unit which includes the main and lower floor.

Walk to one of Seattle's best local markets, 12 excellent local restaurants, and roaster coffee bistro just 3 blocks away! Express transit stop to downtown is 2 blocks. Woodland Park, the zoo and our famous rose garden are just two blocks away! The University of Washington is 10 minutes by car or bus directly east on 50th. Bike to campus it's 15 minutes via Greenlake Blvd and Ravenna greenway. Parking is at the curb just outside the home.

The main floor has two bedrooms each with new queen beds and air conditioning, tiled full bath, formal living and formal dining room with seating for 8 and new full service kitchen.

The lower floor has a master suite with new king bed, full bath, laundry and large media room. Enjoy wireless internet and satellite DirectTV. Two new comfortable couches, one a double sleeper sofa and easy chair with ottoman complete the furnished settings.

The large private outdoor patio is easily accessed from the main kitchen and lower level. It has a stainless steel gas barbeque, table and cushioned chairs for 8. Plenty of morning sunlight then shade in the mid - afternoon just perfect for our warm days in the summer and fall. Enjoy the wonderful front porch and lovely garden.

About Scott Lawrence

I am a third generation builder of fine homes. My grandfather would have built this craftsman home and it is an honor to be the owner!

Restoring the original style while adding contemporary updates allows my guests to appreciate the history while enjoying all the conveniences of current technology in home design.

I live nearby in a 1907 craftsman home which I recently restored in the historic Leschi neighborhood of Seattle.

I chose Phinney Ridge for the charming quiet neighborhood character and easy access to downtown as well as the popular well established neighborhoods just north of the city. Fremont, Green Lake, Wallingford, Ballard, Queen Anne and the University Of Washington are all close by.

Families visiting their relatives appreciate this convenience as well as visitors who wish to be close to downtown and stay in a quiet, safe location within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and other services.

Nice house with plenty of space and clean, comfortable rooms. A couple of minutes to good coffee and food, and ten to fifteen minutes to downtown if minimal traffic. Good value.

Not the greatest

There are a number of things

1. First inform the people who rent there is going to be another tenant upstairs

2. Have the home at a comfortable temperature before renters come (cold in house)

3. Fix all air leaks when temp is cold outside (New weather stripping on front door and door in the basement that leads to garage

4. Cover basement back door so people can't look in when coming from basement bathroom.

5. Upstairs tenant left there porch light on so it lights up the whole main floor including the bedrooms if you want to leave the bedroom doors open

6. Not happy as I had booked a different home and they changed the reservation

7. When reservation got changed had to do paperwork all over again by then pay all the money up front

8. Then had to get the credit back from first reservation

9. Entire home was a hassle

Charming house in nice neighbourhood

Nice location, clean, comfortable rental. Everything was generally as expected, beds very comfortable and Scott was very responsive to emails. Parking was not as easy as stated but still able to park within a few houses each evening. Our first evening was interrupted by the noisy arrival of people to the upstairs flat which awoke all of us from sleeping and continued for several more hours but otherwise noise wasn't a major problem. Would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

Owner's Response: They have been asked to remain quiet while in the home. This has not happened before! All other guests have been quiet and accommodating.

Six Sassy Seniors Enjoy Seattle!!

My sisters and cousin, all 63-83 yrs, so enjoyed our stay! The suggestions we made to Scott for the increased comfort for seniors were well received! Loved the beds!! Great location to easily access the Seattle sights.

Pick up a movie rental at Video Isle which specializes in British and American cable TV series as well as all the current popular foreign and American films.
