We came to the Big Bend from Austin in 2002, never expecting any visitors from our past. But we had so many visitors that we built a guest house for family, old friends, and new friends.
Kathy Bork purchased this house in 2012
From The Little Tin Guest House it's an easy walk to the golf course, the city park and pool, the grocery store, and restaurants. And it's walking weather in Alpine almost any time of year. If you don't feel like walking, The Little Tin Guest House provides 2 mountain bikes and helmets.
Comfortable, open floor plan. Priced right. Perfect for 2 days or 2 weeks.
Like the city of Alpine, the property was quaint, comfortable and hospitable. Kathy was nothing but prompt and professional in dealing with the apartment. Perfect for our needs, would rent and recommend this property again.
This place is a bit frayed round the edges and could do with a bit of TLC but it is still a good place to stay in a nice town. After 10 days of hotel rooms this was a welcome relief and I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay. alpine is on the railroad track so, if you are a light sleeper, take ear plugs. if the minor maintenance problems are sorted out this will be an excellent place. I did try to call the owners to report problems but neither of the numbers provided worked.
You thought of EVERYTHING in The Little Tin House. Great easy access, so close to town, anything and everything we could need in the kitchen and bath. Thank you. We loved our stay!
The place is very private, quiet, and has all of amenities which you can desire: two bedrooms, nice bath, full kitchen and living room, WiFi, and satellite television. It's a perfect place for a weekend or an extended stay.
This was my third time to stay at the Little Tin House and the place is alway super clean, has everything you need, private and close to everything in town. I have already booked my next stay.
