Located 3-minutes from the beach in Roads End, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation get-away has a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean crashing onto shore and joining Cascade Head. A pet-friendly home that comfortably sleeps 6-8, Driftwood is located in the Belhaven neighborhood, a short 5-minute walk to Roads End State Park and Beach. Wandering another .9 miles down the beach will find you at Chinook Winds Casino.
Driftwood at Roads End sleeps 8, has plenty of parking, is easily located, and chefs will delight at the large, fully equipped kitchen. Over-sized windows bring sunlight spilling onto the beautiful hardwood floors and tile counter-tops. Center stage of this open floor plan is the kitchen flanked on either side by dining tables. A wide tile counter with bar stools and plenty of room make this kitchen perfect for families to gather round and help or sit back and watch the chef(s) in action. The kitchen also boasts plenty of electrical outlets, stainless steel appliances; a gas stove and a deep, double wide porcelain sink with a stunning distressed bronze faucet.
A Quiet Sitting Alcove for reading, visiting or a quick nap is separated from the TV Viewing Area by the large stairwell. Driftwood's three bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located on the first floor. Two of the guest rooms have separate entrances onto the lower patio leading out to the backyard. This lower secluded balcony is a perfect alcove to enjoy the suns rays and sounds of the ocean. The master bedroom has a private bath with a deep Jacuzzi tub to sink down into. The fixtures in both bathrooms are a beautiful oil-rubbed bronze adding to the sophisticated spa-like tones perfect for this airy coastal retreat.
If you can tear yourself away from the view, Driftwood at Roads End also has a separate game room with darts, Foosball and a game console-ready TV. For the four-legged members of your family, the game room, which is located in the detached garage has a doggy-door leading out to a large dog run that is fenced off from the main backyard.
The neighborhood has it's own private park which includes swing set with slide and basketball hoop. Grass area has a picnic table and fire pit with bench seating.
I am not a morning person but watching the sun rise and sparkle on the water, then light up Cascade Head and finally wake up the homes just below is irresistible. Sitting there quietly beside the fire with a hot cup of coffee as the light streams in through all the windows energizes and soothes at the same time.
I can start breakfast before anyone is up, while the sun rises higher in the sky and the rest of the house starts to stir, perhaps they smell the coffee or hear the sound of the waves crashing on the shore calling them. Our two dogs know today is a day for adventure and are already out in the yard sniffing all the smells so different from those back home.
Our family has owned a home over by Devil’s lake since I was young. The tide pools of Road’s End and the trails of Cascade Head were my backyard away from home growing up. This particular home with its oversized decks facing the ocean, hardwood floors, tiled kitchen and beautiful bathroom fixtures was everything I imagined and we are thrilled to be able to share it with others.
Gretchen Rossi purchased this house in 2006

Be careful or you will come home with nothing but photos of the views from the Great Room and Balcony. From sunrise to sunset I could sit and watch the light play on the waves, binoculars ready for possible whale sightings. Driftwood has a large master suite complete with Jacuzzi tub that is a treat unto itself. Sink into the tub after a day of hiking Cascade Head just don't fall asleep. Save sleeping for the king size bed with a mattress that will make it hard to want to leave. I think my most favorite feature at Driftwood is the beautiful oil-rubbed bronze bathroom fixtures. Sleek and gleaming against the white walls stepping into the restroom is like walking into a spa retreat.
Our family rented the house again for my mom's 80th birthday celebration. As with the last stay, it was perfect and we will return again next time we head to Lincoln City. Clean, well, appointed, excellent yard and dog run, beautiful view of the beach and bluff from the upstairs deck. I could go on and on. It is just fabulous! Thanks Mark and Gretchen!
Our entire family was in Lincoln City for a wedding so we all had rented houses near one another...The Driftwood was by far the cleanest, best location, most amenities, pet friendly bang for your buck. Their accommodations for your dog include indoor heated kennel w/doggy door to outside doghouse w/ramp to fenced back yard. Adjoining 2-door garage converted into kids play room w/foos ball, darts, TV/Entertainment Center. Downstairs are the 3 bedrooms w/2 full baths and two of the rooms have external door to outside porch/yard. We will definitely use this house again...
This home we enjoyed over the 4th of July with our adult children was just about all we could ask for. It was like home away from home! The neighborhood, Bellhaven, has absolutely beautiful homes, great area to walk, and a play area for young children, if going to the beach gets boring!! The homes layout is perfect and it is well appointed with all you need. The furniture is high end and quite comfy. We all slept soundly! The walk to the beach is just minutes away! We will hope to stay here in the future! Thanks
We would highly recommend this beautiful rental. Description was point on! Clean, comfortable, and spacious! Everything we hoped for and more. Was looking for a yearly vacation spot and we have found it. Looking forward to next year! Thank you Mark and Gretchen for a wonderful stay!
We stayed at Driftwood at Roads End over Memorial Day weekend. The unit was just perfect for our group--super clean, quiet and comfortable. The Driftwood is in the Bellhaven neighborhood, which is a super cute, quiet, safe, family friendly neighborhood. The house was furnished beautifully, and the kitchen was well appointed. We loved the dining room table, where we could all eat together. The best part for us was that the entire second floor was an open floor plan. While I was cooking, I was able to still be part of the group. There is a wonderful view of the ocean off the second floor deck, and it took us just a few minutes to walk down the trail to Roads End State Park, which is a great walking beach. The back yard is wonderful for pets, and there is a dog run inside the heated "man cave" garage that goes to outside. There is no bathroom on the second floor--this was not an issue for us at all but worth mentioning. The owner is very responsive -- we had a minor issue upon arrival and he got right back to us. Our stay was simply wonderful! We will return :-)
The house was what we expected. It was clean and spacious. We enjoyed are time at the house
