After a wet winter the lake is at it's most beautiful - Summer Months Still Available.
This vineyard estate is set atop a knoll surrounded by gently rolling vineyards and fronted by a private lake. The property has been renovated and furnished to a high standard and all rooms have views of the surrounding hills and vineyards.
This is the perfect place for Napa-style entertaining - rooms are spacious and private, multiple common areas keep your guests from feeling crowded, and there are plenty of options for entertainment on the property or just down the road in and around Napa - no need to battle the traffic.
The Main house is over 5,000 s.f and sleeps 10 people in three spacious en suites, plus a family suite suitable for a family of four. The guest cottage with three bedrooms, two baths and a sitting area sleeps six for a maximum capacity of 16 people.
The home is designed for casual entertaining and offers a fully equipped, open-kitchen, spacious living and family rooms, dinning for 16, a powder room, three fireplaces and a study.
The main house and cottage are connected by a large wisteria-covered patio with vineyard and lake views. The patio areas offer dinning and lounging space for all your guests and are the perfect place to watch a friendly bocce game or to toast the spectacular sunsets.
The property also features a level grassy area perfect for kids and outdoor games, a large pool, and a bocce court.
Guests may start their day with a gentle half mile stroll through vineyards and around lake Cynthia. At dusk, you may enjoy listening to the waterfowl and watching the spectacular sunset reflected on the lake from your comfortable seat on the patio. Cheers!
SORRY WE CAN NOT ACCOMMODATE WEDDINGS. We only rent to one renter per 30 day-period in compliance with Napa County regulations.
Very quiet, surrounded by vineyards, mountains, the lake and abundant nature --yet only 10 minutes from downtown Napa. Fabulous place for family gatherings and those who like to cook.
We hosted a family reunion at this incredible estate last April. The home’s grounds and amenities made the event unforgettable. We had three generations there and everyone found things to do. Booking the home was seamless and the management company was available to solve any problems (which there were none). We would recommend the home without reservation and look forward to visiting again in the future.
On our previous trips, my wife and I had been unable to dent Napa's wine supply, so we geared up for a large group to share the wonderful experiences we'd had. We wound up with quite a group, totaling 16, most of whom were extended family with the remainder being long time friends.
First, the views were remarkable. In three directions you see lines of wine plants stretching into the distance. Looking out from the pool and patio area, there is a smallish valley that holds a pond and then the hills rise beyond into the distance.
The location was very private, and the size of the house allowed for separate groupings - watch football, listen to music, swim, plan the day's events or sit in the huge dining room sipping coffee. We were also fortunate enough to arrive on the 3rd day of the Safeway Open held at Silverado County Club, a 5 minute drive from the estate. The number of different things available to do in the surrounding area, let our main group break into smaller pieces to attend specific functions - horseback riding, hot air balloons, playing golf or just sightseeing along the coast.
The centralized location (relative to wine country) made trips to either Napa or Sonoma quite short and we were able to enjoy not only excellent wineries but also a myriad of fine restaurants. Our favorite winery was Castillo de Amoroso where our wine "guide", Vincenzo, provided us with wine tasting far and above what was promised - highly recommended that you visit !
We are in the early planning stages of Assault #4 and this estate is one we'd highly consider if our upcoming group is of sufficient size.
Impressive house full of ammenities. We are a group of 4 couples and this beautiful property was the perfect for us. The vineyard surrainding the property is a treat as well as the lake below. The views are second to none. We hope to come back to this amazing house next year.
Thank you to the owners for this gem.
We love this estate! It's private and has the feel of being in the country, yet it's close to top rated restaurants as well as amenities such as Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. We experienced amazing views, natural surroundings, great landscaping, a comfortable, clean, modern and tasteful environment both inside and out. The owner takes personal pride in caring for the estate and it really feels like a home. If you prefer to stay in, you will enjoy an incredibly well stocked and well equipped kitchen, that will inspire you to create wonderful meals. We will be returning because it's the kind of place where you can feel very comfortable, also with a larger group of people. A very memorable, special and wonderful place!
For anyone who's been to the Napa area or has seen pictures of the beautiful vineyards and vistas, there are few parts as pretty as the areas along the Silverado Trail. This gorgeous estate sits there on a hill overlooking the valley, with the main house and cottage surrounded by rows of well-tended vines with plump grapes and next door to the spectacular Kitchak Cellars (do your best to schedule a private tasting, amazing, and you just need walk over!).
The main house is 2 stories, with a large well appointed kitchen next to a dining area, and family room that we took advantage of, though mostly ate outside under the large pergola to enjoy the view and watch the kids in the pool and hot tub. We had a few spirited games of bocce on the court as well. The setup was perfect for a quick meal or for cooking a big fancy dinner (which we did, both inside and with the BBQ outside). Safeway, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's etc. are just a few minutes away. We had a 2nd floor suite room with attached bathroom (nice large glass enclosed multi-head shower!) and a balcony from where we saw hot air balloons taking off in the distance in the morning. There was lots of room for our party there, in the sitting room, and in the guest house. It went from beautiful to gorgeous throughout the day, and sunsets were spectacular, reflecting the sky off the large pond on the property. We did a toast to the day with local wine just as the sun dipped behind the hills. Note about the pond... in addition to the ducks and geese there, we even saw a family of 4 otters swimming there each day, and the trail around made for a very nice walk. Even a horse and some goats a bit farther down the vineyard access trail. Great for kids (and adults!).
I appreciated how close the location was for wine tasting and restaurants in downtown Napa or up to Yountville and I enjoyed both biking and running the hills just east of the Silverado Trail. Silverado Country Club is just down the road, it's a nice hilly loop. I can't wait to come back, you couldn't ask for a better place to stay with family or friends!
Our 3-day stay at this vineyard home was absolutely incredible. The spacious grounds of this estate more than accommodated the 4 families in our group. We were all relaxed, far away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, however perfectly located only a quick drive from Bistro Jeanty and other top rated restaurants and shopping in downtown Yountville and Napa. We were surrounded by gorgeous scenery, including hot air balloons in early morning, beautiful lake birds, otters swimming, new baby quail nest, bountiful plum trees, perfectly manicured landscaping, endless grape-lined walking trails and Kitchak Cellars (highly recommended for a private wine tour!), with meticulous grounds...not to forget the amazing sunsets over the hills from the backyard dining patio. Well equipped with a hot tub, pool, bocce and basketball court, large screen TV and even a cute farm within walking distance with horses and goats...offering entertainment for every age. The home was well suited for large meals, a fabulous well organized and stocked kitchen set up and outdoor grill..dining inside or out. Our master suite was a treat, with an enormous bathroom, comfortable spacious king bedroom with a view out the balcony glass doors...a dreamy morning and night. Close by Pine Ridge and Stag's Leap a bonus. We will definitely consider this location for another family outing and recommend it to family and friends!!!
Frankly, I don't know where to start! We stayed in this magnificent property with some friends and the list of reasons to love this place is long. First, the property is nestled in the finest part of Napa off of Silverado Trail which is home to the super premium wineries in the Napa Valley. It has its own lake-size pond which captivates your views as you look over the most amazing sunset. The mansion is situated in the middle of vineyards which is all you look at all day long. To top this, there is a very large and beautiful pool that overlooks all the views I just described. We had an amazing time in this place and will surely want to go back, soon!
Quiet rural setting yet only five miles to Napa's best food shops, restaurants and the famous Silverado Resort and Spa.
