This trullo is situated 1.5km from Alberobello set amongst approx 100 mixed olive, almond, fig, cherry and pear trees.
There are 3 bedrooms: one kingsize double, one double and one single.
Beautiful large shower room with Philippe Starck fittings.
This is the perfect trullo for the music lovers out there. Under the vaulted ceilings of the living area there is a grand piano (perfectly tuned), a guitar and a wide selection of music.
Tasteful designer furniture is found throughout the trullo.
Outside there is an extensive terrace surrounding the trullo and 10 x 5m infinity pool and the stone columned gazebo which gives perfect shelter for outside dining with tranquil views of the acres private land and valley beyond.
We had a wonderful week at trullo Stella. The trullo is very tastefully furnished and decorated with care in every detail. On our arrival the trullo was in a very clean condition and we were provided with a bottle of Negroamaro, fresh fruits, bread, cooked ham, cookies... Both the interior and exterior of the property were fantastic. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet and the pool.
Susan, the trullo manager is lovely and should be pointed out separately. Susan is very well organised and she was always very kind and helpful. She also recommended wonderful restaurants which we might not have found on our own.
We would definitely recommend this accommodation to everybody who is
looking for a holiday in a quiet location and loves something extraordinary!
It was our first time in Apulia.
everything was perfectly organized by Susan .... description ... pick up ... introduction in the house ...
Even the defect dishwasher was changed within 24 hours ....
the trullo was great equipped and was beautiful furnished ... there are 3 bedrooms .. 2 doubles and one single ... one double-bed isn't very spacy, so for 5 adults a Bit to small, but for 3 adults and 2 children optimal ... the Pool is amazing beautiful and probably the highlight ... the surroundig villages (Locorotondo / Martina Franca ) are easy to reach and are very athmospheric ...
all in all ... great stay at a great house with perfect managment by Susan 👍👍👍👍👍
The photos don't do this magical house proper justice. It is simply enchanting and entrancing. From the moment we got out of the car and looked around we fell in love with the house, its location and its sheer delight. The house has been converted from old farm buildings with the greatest of skill and attention to detail in traditional building styles whilst having all modern conveniences. Everything has been done to an incredibly high standard of fittings and finishes in a way that is completely sympathetic.
The property was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The pool was crystal clear and a lovely size for swimming. We had very good weather and were able to eat out all the time - there are three terraces with different views. the setting was very tranquil surrounded by olive groves and small fields and yet only minutes drive - or a twenty minute walk -from Alberobello.
We were so well well looked after by Susie, who manages the property, and who organised the cleaning lady - who doubles up as a brilliant cook- to prepare two home cooked meals for us complete with home made pasta...wow - they were simply delicious. We really want to go back again because there is so much to see and enjoy andwe wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.
What an amazing property!! Me and my new wife visited Trullo Stella for our honeymoon and we were amazed by this property. Susie, the property manager was very helpful with tips on where to eat and visit and gave us a very warm welcome. Also printing our Vatican visit voucher after I had left it back in the UK was going the extra mile. The property itself is stunning with amazing views and a great pool. We especially enjoyed going to Martina Franca which is a pretty town about ten minutes away. I would definitely recommend Torre Di Angelucco for somewhere to eat. The chef there is amazing and took the time to come out and explain each dish. Also Casanova in Alberobello was another of our favourites, order the Anti-Pasto and you are doing well if you want any more!! Whether you want to visit the town of Alberobello or take a trip to the beach the trullo is perfectly located but I would definitely recommend a car. Be aware though the pictures up do not do this place justice it looks a lot better in reality!!! So much so I am about to book for next year!!! Thanks a lot Susie.
Trullo 'Stella' is every bit as lovely as it is in the photos - really delightful, and we felt very privileged to spend time there. The Trullo was spotlessly clean with crisp bedding and extremely comfortable beds with plump pillows. There were lots of fresh towels, and pool towels too were also provided. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with a great selection of pots, crockery and excellent cooks knives! A fantastic 'welcome pack' was provided upon our arrival; the best I have ever had. Lots of fresh bottled water; milk; bread; selection of cold meats;butter; jam; biscuits and cake. It was so appreciated and meant we could settle straight in without having to rush about locating the supermarket. As well as being beautiful inside, the outside too was super. Fabulous pool with lots of pool 'toys', comfortable loungers, a nice shaded area for eating/relaxing and two other seating areas to enjoy the views and silence. The trullo felt very secure. It was alarmed with security cameras, remote control gates and shutters fitted on all doors/windows. Although rural, it was a very easy 4 minute drive into Alberobello, a charming town with plenty of parking, restaurants and shops and a great supermarket - 'Conad' - just on the outskirts. Trullo Stella is a great base for exploring. There was a lovely assortment of guide books and maps and a useful local information folder. A sat-nav was also thoughtfully provided for the duration of our stay and this was invaluable. There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby and the coast too is within comfortable reach. Trullo Stella is one of many managed by Susan Gardner, a lovely Scottish lady at www.trullimagical.com We booked 'Stella' through Susan and found her to be absolutely delightful. The whole booking process was very straightforward and Susan greeted us upon arrival and was friendly, patient, kind, thoughtful and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble, and any queries were dealt with immediately. A close contact of Susan's, Gabriella Dragone, an Italian estate agent, is based in Alberobello and she too has a selection of trulli available for holiday rental, agenziadeitrulli.com Gabriella speaks fantastic English, and like Susan is a great source of information. I have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars for both accommodation and customer service - really outstanding.
This was our first visit to Italy and it won't be our last. Trullo Stella is stunning in every way possible. Beautifully presented, fully equipped to a very high standard and a fantastic location. Locally there are some lovely restaurants and I would recommend Gli Ulvi and La Cantina in particular. If you're prepared to explore there are some charming towns nearby and some quite stunning beaches.
Thanks to Susan for all your help and advice prior to arrival and during our stay. We'll be back.
Trullo Stella is situated just a few minutes drive from the town of Alberobello (World Heritage Site).
