This wonderful home in the University District has recently been renovated and offers 2 bedrooms with 2 baths. You will enjoy the new kitchen, full laundry room and the spacious den/office downstairs. The generous back garden with its outdoor fireplace and a BBQ is ideal for enjoying meals and relaxing outside. Inside there are 2 gas fireplaces for warmth and ambiance on cooler days and nights.
The University of Montana is five blocks away, an easy walk which means you wont have to look for parking during on-campus events. The house is also within walking/biking distance to the Downtown and the exceptional Missoula river trail system.
We stayed here during a recent week-long visit to Missoula and loved it. The house is really comfortable, clean and spacious (the 3 of us had more than enough room with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large basement with futon, large eat-in kitchen, etc.). It’s well-stocked (kitchenware, laundry and cleaning supplies, etc.) has a back yard with a grill and fireplace, driveway, wifi and is located in a great neighborhood – walking distance to the University, downtown and an awesome park and playground. There was no a/c, but there were a couple fans provided that did the trick – the house never felt uncomfortably warm.
Page, the property owner, was also really responsive and helpful in answering any questions we had along the way.
If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy place in the heart of Missoula to call home during your visit, this is it!
We celebrated thanksgiving with our college age sons and their friends in this cozy yet spacious house. Plenty of room for all 12 of us to cook and eat in. Lots of nice up dates, including the kitchen. We really appreciated the coffee and spices that were at the house. Also, a great location, right at the foot of the "M". We would highly recommend this house and we will rent it again on our next visit.
We absolutely loved this property! It is located on a quite residential street, walking distance from the school. The home is placed among other unique bungalows in a peaceful neighborhood. There is a private driveway for easy parking. We were delighted with the nostalgic feel up entering the home, which is loaded with modest craftsman detail. At the same time, the home is furnished and decorated with a contemporary feel. The kitchen is updated with high-end gourmet appliances (of which we took full advantage, opting to cook family dinners instead of going out as we had planned). The home was toasty warm throughout, in spite of sub-30 weather outside. Beds were exceedingly comfortable. We had easy access to anywhere we wanted to be, from the school, to hiking, to area shopping. We could not be more pleased with our stay.
The rental was well represented on the website. The house was well stocked with the necessary supplies, and the kitchen had everything we needed, and more, in terms of cooking and baking utensils.
The house was clean and the furniture and arrangement was very tastefully done. The location was incredible, and allowed for walking to the university and downtown events, as well as a local park.
The owners were very friendly and helpful in providing information on local events and points of interest.
We were so satisfied we have already recommended the rental to friends, and hope to stay there again next year.
We rented this home to go to the Montana vs Appalachian football game. Could walk to the campus comfortably. The house was clean and supplied with all needs. One small detail ......it does not have air conditioning....which normally would not be a problem in Montana! But, Page the property manager brought us fans to use the following night....to our rescue. We had a great trip in all!
