The wall to wall windows overlooking the West Grand Traverse Bay and the open layout of this home had us sold immediately!
Private wooded lots surround this vacation home for an away from it all feel! Relax on the deck swing, in the hot tub, sauna or on the beach......
This property is exquisite! The house was emaculate and very user friendly. Instructions on how to use the hot tub, sauna and appliances were very clear and easy to follow. We were a party of 12 and slept very comfortably. In fact, I think 14 would still be comfortable sleeping here! There was enough space to accommodate everyone. The new queen bed in the master bedroom was sooo comfortable! We forgot a few things including water shoes, toothbrushes, a sewing kit and laundry detergent....but she provided all of that and a bottle of wine and chocolates! We were impressed at how accurately she described the home and sleeping accommodations on vrbo. It took all the anxiety out of vacationing. The pictures on the website also provide you with a virtual tour of the home. Her attention to detail and communication skills were top notch. Prior to confirming our reservation, she contacted us to review all the details of the sleeping arrangements and rental policies. All rules and directions were clearly written, discussed and agreed upon. Upon arrival, the home not only met but exceeded our expectations! Sitting on the deck eating lunch fresh off the gas grill was wonderful! Had to say we LOVED the outdoor hot shower! We had a great time and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great escape . Can't wait to reserve our vacation here next summer!
Incredible home and view made for an awesome northern Michigan vacation.
My three children, their three spouses at various times, and six young grandchildren, and I spent a week at this wonderful house. We did not have to pack towels, water shoes and water toys for this trip.
All of the modern amenities were provided. We are a family that likes to cook and use real plates and we could do that there. Hanan, the proprietor is a dream to work with.
Great place to stay. House is beautiful with lots to do. Location is great for the leelanau peninsula. Had a great time. Would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I and our family of 6 additional adults and 3 children were very comfortable in this beautiful, immaculate, well maintained home in a fantastic location! The area is perfect for swimming, hiking, biking, running, wine tasting, sight seeing, shopping etc. The beach area of the home is perfect for small children and adults as well. The owners are easy to work with and are the perfect hosts on many levels. Hanan was in contact with us prior to our arrival and once during our stay to ensure we were having the best experience possible. They provide many amenities to help make your stay more fun, easy, enjoyable and relaxing.
My family (2 teen and 1 pre-teen boys) and my sisters family (2 young boys) had a wonderful time! We were all able to gather, with plenty of space, as we were there for a family event in Traverse. The fire pit on the beach was perfect for making s'mores. And the weather was hot enough out that we even swam in the chilly Traverse Bay waters! We enjoyed the area very much. My husband biked the trail to Traverse and back and my oldest son and I had a beautiful run on those hilly roads. Hanan was an attentive host and made sure that we knew where everything was. We brought our own kayaks. An evening kayak along those amazingly crystal clear waters was the perfect way to wind down the day. We even made a day trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Absolutely worth the trip! Thanks so much for sharing your place!!
Close to both downtown Suttons Bay (about 3 miles) and Traverse City (about 12 miles). Easy access to Traverse City and M22, but away from the crowds and noise. All water sports welcome on this Bay! It has a great hard sand bottom, crystal clear and clean water, wonderful for kayaking, boating, swimming and tubing. Only a few miles to the DNR boat ramp. West Bay is part of Lake Michigan and has cleaner water, bigger waves and sandier beaches. Petoskey Stones have waited millions of years for you to come find them. Close to two golf courses, 12 vineyards (which offer free wine tasting) and the Leelanau Sands Casino!
