The most awesome 12 person vacation ever!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This property is exquisite! The house was emaculate and very user friendly. Instructions on how to use the hot tub, sauna and appliances were very clear and easy to follow. We were a party of 12 and slept very comfortably. In fact, I think 14 would still be comfortable sleeping here! There was enough space to accommodate everyone. The new queen bed in the master bedroom was sooo comfortable! We forgot a few things including water shoes, toothbrushes, a sewing kit and laundry detergent....but she provided all of that and a bottle of wine and chocolates! We were impressed at how accurately she described the home and sleeping accommodations on vrbo. It took all the anxiety out of vacationing. The pictures on the website also provide you with a virtual tour of the home. Her attention to detail and communication skills were top notch. Prior to confirming our reservation, she contacted us to review all the details of the sleeping arrangements and rental policies. All rules and directions were clearly written, discussed and agreed upon. Upon arrival, the home not only met but exceeded our expectations! Sitting on the deck eating lunch fresh off the gas grill was wonderful! Had to say we LOVED the outdoor hot shower! We had a great time and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a great escape . Can't wait to reserve our vacation here next summer!

Great Place to Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this beautiful home for a weekend in September for a girls weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better place. We loved the open floor plan and the huge windows facing the lake. The house was fully equipped with anything you could need and there were detailed instructions for everything. The beach area by the lake is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee!

Suttons Bay

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed spending time in this waterfront "Deck House". I've never vacationed in Michigan before, and enjoyed the ever changing lake views in this beautiful, quiet spot. The owner was very easy to talk to and quickly answered any questions we had. We broke a small item and were able to replace it, on Amazon, with her help. I missed the fact that the master bedroom is open to the great room, as stated in the listing. We quickly adjusted to the noise made by our grandson early in the morning with ear plugs! All in all a lovely home contributed to a relaxing week away.

Large, clean, modern home with fantastic views from the two-story windows. Close to Sutton's Bay.

  • 5 of 5

Other nearby areas include - Leland, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City and the vineyards of region. Exceptional appointments include wood burning fireplace in great room, hot tub, sauna, canoe, children's kayaks, dock and small sandy beach. Our group of 4-adults and 2-children were very pleased with all aspects of this rental.

Vacation with the grand kids

  • 5 of 5

We had both a 19 month and a 15 month grand child and the beach area was perfect for them. Very nice location near Sutton bay and the various wineries. We did a day trip to mission peninsula. Fishtown and traverse city.

Close to both downtown Suttons Bay (about 3 miles) and Traverse City (about 12 miles). Easy access to Traverse City and M22, but away from the crowds and noise. All water sports welcome on this Bay! It has a great hard sand bottom, crystal clear and clean water, wonderful for kayaking, boating, swimming and tubing. Only a few miles to the DNR boat ramp. West Bay is part of Lake Michigan and has cleaner water, bigger waves and sandier beaches. Petoskey Stones have waited millions of years for you to come find them. Close to two golf courses, 12 vineyards (which offer wine tasting) and the Leelanau Sands Casino!
