About Kim Prey

We are from Detroit, MI and currently live just outside Houston, TX. We have been married for 25 years and have a daughter and a son.

Kim Prey purchased this villa in 2012

Why Kim Prey chose Siesta Key

This villa has such a unique location...right next to Siesta Key Village with restaurants, entertainment, and shops, and a short walk to an uncrowded part of Siesta Key beach, which was voted #1 in the nation at one point. We love the relaxed atmosphere of Siesta Key.

What makes this villa unique

Park your car and walk everywhere! Eat at a restaurant in the village (many with outdoor seating and some even allow pets), or bring back groceries from the market in town for a meal at home. Walk to the village for a day of shopping, or walk to the beach for a day of shelling. Lots of sand dollars to be found on the sand bar just off the shore! Rent a bike and ride 2.7 miles to the other end of Crescent Beach. Make sure to find a spot on the beach to watch the gorgeous sunsets at night.

Avenida Navarra

  • 5 of 5

We spent 2 weeks at 5235A Avenida Navarra - It was a perfect location for exploring the beach and the Siesta Key village. The 2 bedroom unit was very nicely finished and furnished. It was a great place to spend two weeks relaxing at the beach and playing golf at the nearby golf courses

Great visit on Siesta Key

  • 5 of 5

The condo was great. The beach was very close with a choice of several access points. We were very close to food and shopping, which is great too. The owner was very communicative and helpful, which goes a long way to ensuring a smooth trip. I would stay here again.

Look no further!

  • 5 of 5

This is the BEST. PLACE. EVER! Look no further! Literally 1 minute from the beach and even less to the village area with dining, drinks and shopping! It felt like home the moment we walked in. While we were a little concerned about it only having one bathroom for 5 of us it was NEVER a problem!

There's also a closet full of beach accessories that made our time on the #1 beach in the US even more spectacular!

The kitchen has everything you might want for cooking in and it saved us several meals out! My daughter and I marveled at how efficient everything was to cook there. Simply fantastic!

I hesitate to write this review as I would like to keep this place our own.

Kim and Todd are awesome and Kim answered every question I had within hours.

Seriously... Look no further! This is such an awesome place! I'm surprised it is ever available.

Highly recommend

  • 5 of 5

We have rented a two bath/two bedroom next door and would choose this one again. Kitchen was well equipped but needs pot holders and tea towels. Beach accessories were of good quality especially the umbrella and stood up to some very breezy beach days. It was great having the beach towels as we didn't have to pack any in our luggage. What a pleasant homey place and we made it our home away from home. Couldn't ask for a better location. Thanks Kim. If you have any other rental properties in other locations let us know as we would be very interested. Good value for our Canadian dollar.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your time there! We actually do have tea towels and pot holders, and they are usually hiding in the bottom drawer under the oven. The other day I bought a magnet hook to put the pot holders in a more visible place. :)

unforgetable

  • 5 of 5

A very cosy, romantic sea style cottage decorated with a good taste just two steps from a wonderful Siesta beach and the village with a big choice of restaurants, cafes and shops. Everything was in a walking disnance. The property was in good order and condition. Wi-fi was very good.. Me, my wife and my daughter really enjoyed our time here from 05/21/15 up to 05/02/15. We would obviously recommend it for vacation to everybody.

Our property is located adjacent to Siesta Key Village which has numerous restaurants, bars, and shops to enjoy. Some of our favorite places to eat are Siesta Key Oyster Bar, Daiquiri Deck, Jo-To's, The Lobster Pot, Aaron's Fish Camp, and Meanys Mini Donuts. The Hub has the best margarita around! You can rent bikes, segways, and two-seater convertible cars at Robin Hood Rentals. The biggest attraction of the area is of course the beach. On Sunday nights just before sunset there is a Drum Circle at the public beach. Nearby Sarasota is home to museums, shopping, botanical gardens, zoos, and many restaurants. Myakka River State Park offers hiking and airboat tours to see alligators. It's not too far to go to Busch Gardens in Tampa for the day.
