Helena House Rental Photos and Description

3 BR, 2 BA, Sleeps 4-7, Classy Private Dwelling with Fenced Yard & Garage

The Helena House is a private home nestled within walking distance of historic Last Chance Gulch, Davis Gulch Walking trails and 7 blocks from Montana's Capital and Historic Museum. The Historic Governor’s Mansion is around the corner as well as the Myrna Loy Center. The living room is sunny and bright. The rooms are cozy with luxury sheets, and bedding. The upstairs shower and bath is equipped with fluffy towels. The kitchen is fully accommodated inclusive of reverse osmosis water filtration system. The home is equipped with Wi-Fi and DISH television. There is a lovely patio in the very private fenced yard that sports a gourmet gas grill and bistro seating area. Downstairs there is a bed room, day bed room, washer and dryer and full bathroom. In addition, the living room sofa can make into an additional queen bed if necessary.

If what brings you to The Helena House is work, you will feel at home here. If your interests are history, a quite place to get away or hammering on your bike on the Prickly Pear Land Trust Trails; history, play and recreation are literally within walking distance. You can have the feel of a quite small town neighborhood, the interest of historic architecture and days gone by, and the rush of the outdoors so tangible, you may not want to leave.

Come and enjoy!

About Kimberly

I was born and raised in Lewistown, Montana. I currently live in Bozeman, MT, where I own and operate a Family Chiropractic business. An adventurer at heart, my free time is filled with horses, outdoors, travel, and quality time with family.

Why Kimberly chose Montana

Helena is my favorite town in Montana. As you wander through its historic buildings and niches, I wish the walls could tell the stories of its glory days. I love how the town spills out of its once prolific gulches of gold into an unconventional urban grid. There is nothing like the Prickly Pear Land Trust Trail system which allows you to meander the fringes of town, gaining vistas from many dimensions offering Big Sky country views in all directions. The sleeping giant on the horizon, the fire tower, Mount Helena and the steeples of St. Helena's cathedral are your built in compass to town. Come see and enjoy for yourself.

Beautiful Home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here the first week of October and loved every moment. Fall was just starting and the weather was beautiful. We were able to use the BBQ and enjoy the patio and yard several times. We shared the house with my family and my sister-in-law and her family. There was plenty of room for everyone and every comfort was thought of. Our teenage girls loved being able to walk to everything. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We are planning on making this an annual event and are hoping to stay here again. Thank you for for the use of your lovely home.

Comfortable house in a lovely neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at the Helena house for the month of May and really loved the location. I had many wonderful walks around the neighborhood which is filled with beautiful and picturesque Queen Ann style homes from the late 1800's. The rental house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything. The owner was very nice, easy to communicate with, and I would definitely recommend this property. I would also recommend visiting Helena in June which is when the Last Chance Tour Trains and Trolley operation starts, I sadly missed out on this tour.

They thought of everything

  • 5 of 5

We stayed a week in Helena, MT at a wonderful house in an old neighborhood. The house was charming and comfortable. Every time we thought, "I wish we had ..." we would find exactly what we were looking for. It was a great stay and we would definitely stay there again.
