Come and enjoy!
I was born and raised in Lewistown, Montana. I currently live in Bozeman, MT, where I own and operate a Family Chiropractic business. An adventurer at heart, my free time is filled with horses, outdoors, travel, and quality time with family.
Helena is my favorite town in Montana. As you wander through its historic buildings and niches, I wish the walls could tell the stories of its glory days. I love how the town spills out of its once prolific gulches of gold into an unconventional urban grid. There is nothing like the Prickly Pear Land Trust Trail system which allows you to meander the fringes of town, gaining vistas from many dimensions offering Big Sky country views in all directions. The sleeping giant on the horizon, the fire tower, Mount Helena and the steeples of St. Helena's cathedral are your built in compass to town. Come see and enjoy for yourself.
I stayed at the Helena House for about six months while on assignment in Montana. The house was comfortably furnished and was a spacious place to unwind. The location was perfect, within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Kimberly, the host, was so very nice and attentive. When I'm back in Montana, this is where I'd want to be.
Whenever I have to stay away from home, that's exactly what I look for: Home. The Helena House hit the spot. It had everything I needed to feel comfortable; including a nice yard to kick back in. Even though it's tucked into a quiet neighborhood, it was great to be within walking distance of the attractions Helena offers: from shopping and eating along the Gulch and attending and touring the Cathedral, to hiking Mt. Helena and the surrounding area. Aside from the great accommodation, dealing with the owner was a pleasure. It is plain to see why I found things as they were: quality people provide a quality product. I'll be back.
I stayed at Helena House for almost a month and couldn't have been more at home. The house was spotless on arrival and everything I needed during my stay was there and I loved having the garage to park my bike and car in. The owner was professional and courteous in every way and her home was appointed in the same manner. The location of the home was perfect for walking anywhere in the downtown area yet situated in a quiet neighborhood. Thanks for a great stay and look forward to coming back!
We stayed here the first week of October and loved every moment. Fall was just starting and the weather was beautiful. We were able to use the BBQ and enjoy the patio and yard several times. We shared the house with my family and my sister-in-law and her family. There was plenty of room for everyone and every comfort was thought of. Our teenage girls loved being able to walk to everything. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We are planning on making this an annual event and are hoping to stay here again. Thank you for for the use of your lovely home.
I stayed at the Helena house for the month of May and really loved the location. I had many wonderful walks around the neighborhood which is filled with beautiful and picturesque Queen Ann style homes from the late 1800's. The rental house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything. The owner was very nice, easy to communicate with, and I would definitely recommend this property. I would also recommend visiting Helena in June which is when the Last Chance Tour Trains and Trolley operation starts, I sadly missed out on this tour.
We stayed a week in Helena, MT at a wonderful house in an old neighborhood. The house was charming and comfortable. Every time we thought, "I wish we had ..." we would find exactly what we were looking for. It was a great stay and we would definitely stay there again.
