Why Steven & Sandy Wilson chose Navarre

We really enjoy the relaxing and laid back atmosphere of Navarre Beach. We first visited here in the early 80's and have always preferred it to the more crowded beaches of nearby towns.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to own a home on this lovely island and are excited to have other people enjoy it as much as we do.

Our townhouse is located in a small complex that has a brand new heated pool and is within walking distance of restaurants, nightlife, the longest fishing pier on the Gulf and other fun activities.

This is a great place for Snow Birds looking for a warmer home for the winter months, or for someone wanting a fun week or two at the beach, or even those who just want a quick weekend getaway to relax.

What makes this townhome unique

Assigned two car parking spaces at the front door

Private Beach walkover

Heated swimming pool

Bedrooms located upstairs

Beach chairs and toys available for your use

Affordable rates, 1 night minimum stay

Needs some TLC...

  • 2 of 5

Quiet little community but this is a tired and dirty unit. Close to the beach and plenty of beach items to use.

Smells musty and like it's worn down.

Carpet up the stairs & at the landing have huge stains and is in need of replacement.

All of the pillows are wafer thin and smell.

The bedding is old and smelled like it hadn't been washed in a long time.

The dining room chairs are lawn chairs.

The towel holder in the bathroom fell off the wall.

The bathtub doesn't drain properly, so you are showering with 3" of water the entire time.

The a.c. worked but the thermostat had to be set 5 degrees cooler to cool the upstairs and you have to keep the bedroom door open or the cool air couldn't circulate.

The inside shower curtain was missing. Which was handled but, when house keeping brought one by, they came in the condo unannounced while we were in bed. The office had our phone number, but they didn't give us the courteous of a phone call prior to coming in.

The smoke detector in the master bedroom is open, we found the battery on the floor under the dresser. (We left it on top of the dresser) While fishing the battery out from under the dresser, we saw dirty q-tips & other trash under there as well.

The sofas' cushions are worn to the wood and they smell old, dirty & musty.

The few dishes we used, had to be washed before we could use them.

This unit is over priced and needs some attention.

We should've stayed at the Spring Hill Suites right next door for less, a lot less and cleaner! Had we known, we would've.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable.

The towels were all mismatched and yellowed.

The nasty smell is in our clothes and it has made for a rough long ride home.

We wanted to like this place, it just needs to be updated and checked in on by the owners.

Definitely not worth the price.

This was our third trip to the panhandle this year, we've used vrbo each time and have been pleased in the passed.

Good find close to the beach

  • 4 of 5

First time using VRBO and found this place for my family of 5, including small children. Overall, the unit was adequate with all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed then fully stocked kitchen, as we cooked a couple meals to save money. As well, we used the grill out back on the patio. The grill was brand new, and there was even extra charcoal, light fluid and a lighter to use! From the unit, its a relatively short walk to the beach, maybe 300 yards or so. A nice perk was the unit had an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand and saltwater. Finally, would have given 5-stars but there were a few minor cosmetic issues that I reported upon my departure. The top of the fridge was really, really dusty. Kind of an immediate turn off after we arrived and unloaded our groceries. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was also fallen on the ground. And the main hallway light did not work. Besides that, the unit was in need of updating, carpet, fresh paint and fixtures would really freshen up this place. But overall, for the price and location, it sufficed.

easy access to condo and beach

  • 5 of 5

Excellent experience at Sugar Beach G33. They even had beach chairs and toys we were able to borrow while there. Condo had living area at bottom and bedrooms upstairs which was great for staying up late while some went to bed early.

Condo was very close to beach, but not on it or overlooking it. You had a short walk down the complex to the beach access bridge. Beaches were not very crowded and not close to public access. Really liked being able to drive right up to your door and NOT having to wait for an elevator like at high rise condos.

Very nice place and affordable. Worked great for my group of 6
