AMAZING

  • 5 of 5

It was my 12 yr anniversary , and both me and my honey's birthday, I prefer to enjoy quality time together and found this little piece of heaven!! I HIGHLY recommend coming to stay, even if for just for a weekend😀 The view is SPECTACULAR , listening to the river so peaceful, I guarantee any worries you have will disappear. The cabin itself is very nice and clean, and being in the hottub at night with the river was a magical experience!!!! We have been back home a week and are already trying to plan a time to come back and bring our family. If you are on the fence about renting this place , JUST DO It you will not be disappointed. Chris the owner was also great to work with ... I just hope if you are reading this that you are not trying to book the next weekend I wAnt to go😀😀😀😀

A Cozy, Getaway Gem

  • 5 of 5

This cozy little cabin is really a hidden gem. The pictures don't really do the location justice. Right when you get there, the atmosphere takes your breath away. With full access to the river and a gorgeous backdrop, this is what enjoying nature is all about. The cabin itself is great for couples, 3 ppl max. It's very clean and has all the amenities you would need (except wifi). Your phone may not have reception here so be cautious of that. The jacuzzi was a bonus for sure! Chris was very polite and we do appreciate him lending us his cabin. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin for a couple's getaway.

Romantic Getaway indeed!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I were having our 3 yr, anniversary and wanted to do something unique. I had searched online and looked at several places but the A-frame in Index caught my eye. The view was nothing short of spectacular with the river right in front of the cabin and the mountain just above. Of note was that Chris had a rope guard in place so you can get to the river safely. Of course the hot tub was nice to relax in during anytime day or night. As far as customer service Chris went out of his way to help me both get to the cabin with clear, instructions, but also had a beautiful flower arrangement and champagne waiting to surprise my wife. That was awesome, thank you Chris that helped set the mood for the weekend. Bring firewood for the open firepit as sitting by the fire at night is a plus. There are several markets nearby that sell firewood however if you can't bring your own. We went to Sultan to see the reptile zoo which I highly recommend. All In all this was a memory to be cherished and we will be back on a yearly bases. This is truly a gem tucked away in a little town I may never have seen. Thanks for everything!

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

That about sums it up. My husband and I and our 2 year old son planned a last minute weekend getaway and stumbled upon this cabin online. I contacted the owner, Chris, who was very quick to respond and accommodate even though he was on vacation in Hawaii! This is a very well appointed and kept cabin right on the river in Index, with a breathtaking view of the mountains right outside the door. The sound of the rushing river was so calming, the hot tub super relaxing, firepit, cozy gas fireplace indoors.... it was really everything we could have hoped for - an amazing weekend for sure! We really needed some time away together and this went beyond our expectation. Our little one had the time of his life (although the accommodations are really perfect for a couple, but we made it work!) To top it off, we saw a beautiful rainbow across the already stunning view. What a weekend! thanks for sharing, Chris.
