This adorable spacious studio unit can be your special little quiet piece of paradise. Relax and watch the sunset from the Kamaole beach park II, a short walk across the street. Enjoy your own beautifully landscaped private ground floor lanai, and listen to the hawaiian doves in the morning. Do your own barbeque in the evening, and refresh in one of the two pools after a challenging game of tennis. Wonderful restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance.
Kihei Akahi condominium is beautifully landscaped. Our condominium will sleep two to four people. It is decorated Hawaiian style to bring the islands inside with you. Kihei has the best weather of the islands, gentle tropical breezes, an occasional spritz of rain, and the ever so sweet aroma of tropical flowers. Fantastic new kitchen.
The owner, Leilani Gray, was born in Honolulu and lives in Calistoga, California, where she owns the Trailside Inn Bed and Breakfast. She knows the special calling that the islands have, and wants to share that wonderful feeling with you.
Once you have been there you will always want to return. We hope that you will recommend our little piece of paradise to your friends and family, and that you will visit us again and again and again!
Aloha, Tom and I live in the Napa Valley, Calif. We go to our condo at least twice a year to relax and work on the fix it list. We love to wake to the tropical birds singing and feel the ocean breeze through the windows. We watch the sunset nightly from 'our' beach with a glass of wine. We watch for 'coconut dog' and his master who walk the beach nightly. RELAXING is what we do best there, and you will too-no more knots in your neck!

Privacy if you want it and a social life at the pool if you like. We have met so many great travelers that we see year after year, even some who have stayed at our Bed and Breakfast in the Napa Valley-Trailside Inn
The photos didn't do the unit justice. It's a corner unit and the balcony looks over the parking lot, which concerned me before I got there, but the balcony is surrounded by vegetation which makes it cozy and private. The unit was quiet and comfortable and very clean. It has everything you could possibly need. It is a very short walk to Kamaole II beach. Literally takes 2 minutes to walk to the beach. I really hope to go back next year and I would definitely stay in this unit again, it it's available.
Wonderful experience. Most well priced condo in the area and everything you could possibly ask for and more. Great beach equipment, clean, great amenities, right across the street from the beach and tons of excellent snorkeling within the 5-10mile strip.

Es war sehr gemütlich und die Küche war sehr gut bestückt und die Waschmaschine + Trockner haben gute Dienste geleistet. Danke auch für das Equipment für den Strand (Tommy Bahama Stühle und Schirm), meine Eltern haben sie geliebt. Tolles Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Vielen Dank!
What a wonderfully cozy condo! Offers many ammenities including a pool with BBQ area outside, tv, wifi, washer and dryer inside. Owner Leilani is lovely. She provides beach going accessories like a cooler, boogie boards and beach towels. Condo is located close to 808 Deli, Fred's, and Moose McGillycuddys. Within walking distance of Cafe O'lei. Kamaole II is directly across the street!
This was our second trip back to Maui and our second stay at Kihei Akahi. We were unable to get the same unit that we had last year so we decided to try a studio this time around. We spent most of our days on the beach, jogging, playing tennis or just exploring and our studio turned out be the perfect fit for the two of us. It's recently had the kitchen re-done and they've added a brand new washer and dryer in the bathroom area. Everything was clean and in working order including the AC which we needed most nights. The owner was friendly and great to deal with and if we're back in Maui in 2014, we'll try and get in here again for sure.
Owner was very accommodating in renting to us last-minute for a two-day stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the ground-floor studio. I always try to be in a top-floor unit, but there was no noise from above, so I slept well in a quiet location that had a comfortable bed. Some of the furniture is dated, but the owners have upgraded the kitchen and there are new appliances, including a washer/dryer that I would like in my own home! The shower was good (a pet peeve of mine if there is a low-flow shower), and apart from having nowhere to stow our bags (only there two days so didn't unpack - might have been able to put them under the bed if there longer), we were further delighted with the top-quality Tommy Bahama umbrella and chairs that are provided. I continue to be startled at the high cleaning fees charged, but that is no fault of the owner. I would suggest, however, that she make sure the cleaner wipes off the outdoor furniture on the patio and puts a box of tissues under the box provided for them in the bathroom (another pet peeve!). All in all a good location that is literally right across the street from one of the coastline's wonderful beaches. As the owner had said, the complex is kept up very well. The office staff (Miss Gerry) was very welcoming. Would definitely stay there again (with less luggage!).
Directly across the street from Kamaole II beach with life guard station, shaded grassy picnic areas, public restrooms, BBQ's. Half a block to Fred's Mexican restaurant and Moose Magillacuddies restaurant and 808 Greek resturant, another half a block to Denney's and a strip mall with lots of cute shops and small grocery store.
