Mountain Lodge unit #207 is a 2br/2ba condo Ski In/Out. We have completely remodeled the unit from top to bottom. Enjoy pleasantly well decorated rooms with new furniture, hardwood floors throughout, renovated bathrooms, kitchen with high end cabinets, stainless steal appliances, and granite counters. All furniture is brand new. We have not spare any expense to ensure that your stay will be flawless. For your convenience we provide washer/dryer inside the condo and a electric fireplace.
The Ballhooter and Skidder chair lifts are conveniently located just outside our back door. In addition, Mountain Lodge is located just steps away from the Snowshoe Village, restaurants, shops, Starbucks coffee shop and Split Rock pools. Enjoy night life and restaurant right in the building!
For your convenience, a limited number of bike and ski
lockers are available for rental from the guest service.
The Lodge offers a spacious lobby with a large stone
fireplace that is a perfect location for a family gathering or to meet new friends. ML feature a large screen TV
atrium with nightly family oriented features; a game
atrium offering over 30 video games and amusements; a
children's play area; exercise equipment; laundry facilities, Satellite DirecTV with multiple premium movie channels, complimentary wireless broadband internet and gated private parking.

Great modern room
First trip to Snowshoe, and I was incredibly pleased with our lodging. The room was very updated and modern and absolutely the best property I found in Snowshoe. The owners were very attentive and helpful as well. I will absolutely be renting from them again. This was also my family's first time skiing/snowboarding in Snowshoe. "Best vacation ever" was the quote from my 15 year old son that came with us to snowboard.
We enjoyed our stay. The unit is in a good, convenient location for getting to and from the slopes and village.
It met our needs. The kitchen was nice, the sitting area was a little small. The fireplace did not

Some good, some not so good.
We liked the location. Towards end of hall, so fairly quiet, though son in other bedroom said lobby noise bothered him. This is why we try to avoid Mountain house. Nice location to get to slopes and parking, once we could check in. We came up to ski for the day and got there around noon, after last renter should be out, but guard said we couldn’t go into to park closer to slopes because people go in and bother the maids. So we had to park at Top of the World with day trippers and move the car at the end of the day. Inconvenient.
The condo is nice. They did a good job with kitchen Reno, but it is hot. Take short sleeves and light PJs. We had thermostat all the way down and still were hot. Nice that there are ceiling fans though.
Lastly it would be nice to have just a little regular dish soap and dish cloth. All we had was dishwasher soap and a single towel.

I’m sorry the security guard did not let you park before check-in time, we are currently working with the Mt. Lodge management to see what can be done regarding parking for those that arrived well ahead of check-in time.
We assume that you mean hallway noise, as the Lobby is quite far from this unit. Any noise in the hallway should be reported to the front desk immediately as special attention is been given to rudeness outside the units to ensure everybody’s comfort.
In terms of the unit been hot, we have heard from other owners that this has become an issue as the complex is setting the heating system in the common areas too high, which affects the units. We will follow up with management to confirm to them that this has become an issue that needs to be addressed.
In terms of the dish soap, the cleaning crew does not provide that but that is something that can be discuss on the next HOA.

You could not ask for a better location on the mountain top. Right out the back door to the top of the Ball Hooter Lift and ease on down easy or moderate slopes and an easy walk to the Village. Having stayed in Mountain Lodge years ago I was familiar with the small rooms (and heated space) so we knew what to expect. No matter. When the snow is great, as it was during our stay, who is going to stay in the room, right? Thanks to the owners who were easy to work with. I would stay here again.
Great location! Great kitchen and plenty of room for 4 people.
Stayed at this property during Wanderlust yoga festival. Super location to all of the resort activities. Walking distance to everything. Front desk very friendly. Building might be showing it's age but this condo isn't. Very well maintained and clean. Housekeeping replaced towels daily and emptied trash. 2nd bedroom had hard mattress, but master bedroom was great. Combo washer/dryer came in very handy although drying takes forever in these types of machines by design - just a heads up :) Overall would definitley recommend this to families or couples.

We have taken note of the mattress comments and are trying to figure out a solution since we are getting conflicting reviews. Some reviewers indicate that the mattresses are too soft and other that the mattress are too hard.

For Christmas (12/18-01/04) there are not deposit refunds on cancellations 90 days before arrival date. - For 2 nights reservations that include either a Friday or Saturday both of the days on the reservation will be counted as weekend nights since it breaks the rental weekend.
