Truly Stunning View!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time in Refika's Studio No. 1. Refika is a lovely friendly helpful lady as are her daughters. She recommended places to visit and restaurants to eat at, things to do and see. The lovely big terrace has the most beautiful view over Dubrovnik Old Town, Lokrum Island and the pristine Adriatic beyond. Truly stunning. The studio is very well equipped, very clean and cosy but surprisingly spacious .Everything you need. It is located not far above the Cable Car station and the cable car actually silently runs up the side of the studios which is wonderful to see also knowing that we have the privilege of THAT VIEW from our very own terrace. No need for the cable car unless you want to visit the war museum. The location is very well placed for the Ploce gate entrance to the old town at the bottom of the steps and to the old harbour where the boats to Lokrum and Cavtat go from. What a joy to have stayed in this lovely studio in the very beautiful city of Dubrovnik and would definitely love to stay here again. Refika also found that I had left my purse in the studio with all my cards and money in and has very kindly posted it back to the UK for me. What a star. Thank you Refika.

Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic spot - could not have found a better location. Amazing views from above the old city. Refika was a wonderful host. She also organised a taxi to and from the airport for us. The zigzagging drive down the pathway in our taxi was certainly an adventure! The apartment was clean and comfortable and it was so nice to have the kitchenette to be able to make our own meals. We certainly kept fit as we hiked back and forth to the old city. Would highly recommend the apartment.

Beautiful view and an apartment with all you need

  • 5 of 5

Refika was a great host, recommend getting the taxi organised by Refika to reach the apartment!

The two of us had a magnificent stay in Refika's apartment, which boasts fine views over the old town and Lokrum island. This provided opportunities for us to enjoy drinks and food on the balcony, or to visit and explore the old town - a short walk away. Whilst the flat and the area were themselves a perfect place to spend a week, we also greatly appreciated Refika going out of her way to help us to make the most out of our stay. We would definitely recommend staying at this apartment. Gem and Rob.

Stunning Views!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for five days in this apartment. The view from the terrace is amazing and we spent hours every day watching ships passing by and watching the old city below. It was mesmerizing and what makes the apartment so wonderful. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We did a fair amount of cooking and the kitchen was adequate for simple meals. The owner was very hospitable and kind and we enjoyed chatting with her very much. Dubrovnik is beautiful and we hiked down to the old city and through the medieval walls twice every day. What is quite a hike up and down, so be prepared for that and wear sensible shoes. Zigzagging our car down to the apartment was also quite an adventure! We recommend this apartment very highly.

Great apartment, perfect location, stunning views.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in apartment 2 for a week and had a wonderful time. The emails from the owner, Refika, were prompt and very helpful. She organised a taxi to meet us at the airport - a must do as the property is on a very narrow road so there are no buses, and it would be very difficult to find the apartment on your own. The walk into the Old Town takes about 10 minutes down a series of paths and stairways. The view from the balcony is breath-taking and we had breakfast on there most mornings. There is an area with a table and chairs by the front door also. The apartment has a large kitchen area with table and chairs, a small couch, television and dvd player and a bookshelf. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and crockery. There is a sandwich toaster and a filter coffee machine. Unfortunately there was no kettle, but we boiled water in a saucepan instead. There is a lovely large shower in the bathroom although the tank is quite small so if there are two of you wanting to shower then you need to be quick as the hot water doesn't last long! There is good storage in the bathroom, plenty of towels and a hairdryer. The large bed is very comfortable and it is a real luxury to lie there with a drink in the morning taking in the beautiful view. There is a wardrobe with plenty of hanging and shelf space. There is also a clothes airer which was very useful. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and you would be hard pushed to find a nicer apartment and in a better location. We plan to go back again very soon!

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful studio apartment for 1 week.It really is as good as all the other reviews state. The apartment was spotlessly clean, lots of lovely towels,a roomy shower with decent pressure and plenty hot water. The view is fabulous and yes there are quite a few steps but perfectly manageable if walked at a leisurely pace. The best route is from the Ploce Gate on the return journey.Walk around the slope following the city walls to the fire station, then take the steps opposite the fire station for the upward climb. Then enjoy the view from the balcony, well worth the effort.Take up the option for a taxi, the driver is a lovely friendly very helpful young man who will tell you lots about the city on the journey and believe me-you'd never find it on your own!! The city is fabulous,so are the surrounding islands, just enjoy exploring and doing the usual tourist things.
