About Rebecca Rodriguez

We are two joyful ladies who have fallen in love with our precious adobe home in Santa Fe....and we feel you will too. We live much of the time in California, but our dear friends manage our unit with lots of attention & customer service.

Rebecca Rodriguez purchased this house in 2012

Why Rebecca Rodriguez chose Santa Fe

One of the few authentic 1935 adobes available within a short distance to everything! What a surprise when you walk in the door with the vigas & latillas, thick adobe walls, skylights, and oversized bedrooms with their own bathrooms.

What makes this house unique

Great location, comfortable beds

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this little casita. It had a King sized very comfortable bed for us and separate single beds for our kids, so it was ideal for our family. The house was cute, clean and the A/C worked well. It seemed a little dark when we first went in, but once we opened the curtains it was great. The little patio area was perfect for locking up our bikes. We will stay here again.

Great little oasis in Santa Fe

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I stayed for five very hot days in June in Santa Fe in the adobe house on Gomez. It was a perfect spot for the two of us. The location is great, right near the Railyard area and about a fifteen minute walk from the Plaza. Whole Foods was just a few blocks away. The house is very quiet and most importantly for us had great quiet a/c! The house sleeps six but there wouldn't be enough seating if six people were there and the second bathroom is extremely small even though it has a large shower. It's an older home and has some quirks of squeaky floors and an older style bathroom, not a glamorous high style spot but it was comfortable and well equipped. It's location is its biggest asset. Two blocks from the wonderful Restaurant Martín, a must try in Santa Fe. The patio for the house is lovely but it was too hot for us to enjoy it during the heat wave that came through. We would stay at the Gomez house again.

A great place to stay in Santa Fe

  • 5 of 5

The property itself is just delightful. It is very well located with many things in walking distance. For just the two of us, it was quite roomy and very well-equipped. Rebecca was very responsive the one time we needed a little help. We would definitely want to stay here again.

Charming Adobe in Great Location!

  • 4 of 5

We had a six night stay over New Year's Eve. Though the weather was a bit frightful, the adobe was a comfortable place to call home. The home was well maintained, spotless in fact. The photos and property description on the HomeAway website depicted it quite accurately. The owner was immediately responsive when we had questions/concerns. My husband and I traveled with our 22 yr and 17 yr olds and we had the perfect amount of space to relax, catch some quiet moments, regroup and enjoy winter in Santa Fe. The ski slopes were just a 40 minute drive, and this year, the bus was running a pilot route to and from various stops around town to the mountain that we took advantage of one day. Public transportation is easy to navigate, but walking from the adobe was more appealing, even at night when the temperature was reading in the teens - daily we enjoyed the Plaza/Downtown area and the Railyard/Guadalupe District on foot! A must-do is the Glass Paperweight class at Elodie Holmes' Liquid light Glass Studio! I would recommend this property, and will definitely look it up again next time we visit the area.

The perfect place for people like us!

  • 5 of 5

Five of us wanted a roomy, comfortable place within walking distance of most Santa Fe attractions, and we got it! This place is beautiful, inside and out, and very clean. Everything about it says that it's run by folks who carefully considered everything their renters might need, from linens to kitchen gadgets to spices, and furnished every one. The open section that includes the spacious kitchen and dining areas also features a wet bar and is great for entertaining. There is a secluded patio with grill and dining set that worked great for us as well. When we wanted privacy, we just shut a door or walked around a corner. We felt quite comfortable eating in or dining out, as every type of establishment we needed was within walking distance. If you want a cozy, clean, completely furnished and artfully decorated home near the heart of Santa Fe, this is it!

The casita is great -- every bit as nice as the pictures indicate, and more. The kitchen area is huge, and the private patio, with gas grill -- is a treat. Just perfect for making and grilling dinner. Perfectly located. And as for furnishings -- they thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay, and provided it in every room. AC individually controlled in each room. Bathrooms are quirky yet perfectly clean and functional. As with almost all rental properties, however, lighting in bedrooms was dim; impossible to read in bed.
