About Brandon Van Loon

Robert and Debra grew up in the San Fernando Valley among orange groves and farm land. While living in Los Angeles Debra and Robert made the dynamic duo building custom homes in the Malibu area. With Debra's eye for design and Robert's know how their finished projects were nothing short of stunning. In the early 2000's they decided that they wanted to get back to their roots and came up to Paso Robles. Although the Paso Canyon Ranch property was beyond distressed, Debra saw potential where no one else could. When the ranch was purchased it had almost no vegetation to speak of and the residence was in a state of disrepair. Over the coming year they spent their time planting trees and renovating the property while living in the one bedroom that was habitable.

Once again they have managed to do the impossible and in the process have created a little piece of paradise nestled in the heart of wine country.

Loved, loved, loved staying here! The house was immaculate! Debrah really rolled out the red carpet for us! And her and her husband were so helpful with anything we needed. They were very responsive and so sweet! We can't wait to stay here again!

Thank you Debrah!

Lovey residence with even better outdoor space

  • 5 of 5

Hostess/host is on top of things, and genuinely want you to have a nice time. She made sure we got to the property with out incident (the rental is at the back of the property). Additionally we found the rental to be equipped with all the needed amenities, AC, coffee and plenty of towels, to name a few. Additionally the kitchen is well stocked with all the tools for cooking meals. We use the rental for a weekend of wine tasting and the 'just out of town' location worked great.

Perfect for our Paso Robles getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Our experience with Paso Canyon Ranch was wonderful. The house is tucked behind a larger property, which is obscured by a row of trees. The house itself is a 3 bedroom single story residence which fit our family of 7, 3 couples and one toddler perfectly. (We requested and were given permission to bring the baby.) The back yard was large and included plenty of chairs and lounges for relaxing. Everything was exactly as promised. The hot tub worked, the BBQ worked, the internet worked and the AC worked. (If you've rented other places you will realize that this is a rarity.) The property was clean and well maintained. It was very quiet at night and the area is very private. There is also plenty of parking. All-in-all this was an excellent experience for a fair price and we would definitely return.

Tranquil retreat in Paso

  • 5 of 5

This home had everything we needed for a great weekend with friends. Once you are at the house you don't want to leave with the jacuzzi, corn hole, pingpong, frisbee, etc. there was enough to keep us busy all evening long. The house was super clean and well stocked. The backyard was the real draw and we will be back. Thanks for a great weekend!

Birthday Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at the Paso Canyon Ranch. The property is beautiful and the house was very nice and clean. We loved hanging out in the backyard and the jaccuzzi time. If you're looking for a place out of the city, then this is it. It's close to Eberle Winery, which ended up being a favorite of ours. And on Sunday on the way out of town, we stopped at Hunter Golf Course and had their brunch. Fantastic!! We are looking forward to the next time we come and stay at the Ranch!
