Our recently built Rothorn house is located on the sunny plateau Nesslegg. The quiet location, far from the street, and a wonderful view of the mountain panorama make your holiday very relaxed. There are numerous opportunities in winter for adults and kids, to romp in the snow in front of the house. Seebach, about 100m away from the house is a great adventure in summer for kids - building dams, slides, etc. There is a play room in the house, which can be used anytime. The apartment is fully furnished - dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, Ceramic hob with 4 burners, portable oven, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, satellite television with DVD player, internet connection, hair dryer and safe. Apart from the bathroom with shower/toilet there is a separate toilet. All rooms are very spacious. In 5 minutes walk you can reach the nearest restaurant. After an enjoyable dinner a glorious day will come to an end.
Warth-Schröcken ski resort: The ski resort Warth-Schröcken is situated at Hochtannbergpass, which is 2 km away. The ski bus stop lies just across the spot, from where you get in to the first lift station to the ski area comfortably in 5 minutes (Salober).
Warth-Schröcken hiking area: There are numerous hiking options in Warth and Schröcken - from easy strolls up to adventurous hikes. Guided hiking tours are conducted every week in Hochtannberg region (Schröcken, Warth and Lech). Of that once there will be a visit to the first Alpine museum in Vorarlberg - 'uf m Tannberg'. Further there are hikes to Sennalpen or to the cosy mountain huts. Once a week there is a guided mountain tour on one of the 3 most beautiful mountains in Bregenz Forest. For guests from Schröcken these programs are all free!
Adventure in Warth-Schröcken: You will find specialists in outdoor activities. About 200 m away from our house there is a lift station to a canyoning tour with rappels on thundering waterfalls. Canyoning tours are there for beginners, pros and there are also family tours. Concentration, balance and a bit of courage is required for the recently built Adventure Park in Schröcken. With 30 rope courses and a 140 m long Flying Fox slide this park is one of the highlights for the entire family. There is something even for children only - there is a mini canyoning tour every week, Flying Fox, Adventure day and a rock climbing course for kids. The Adventure day with Lama trekking that takes place every Wednesday is especially popular, rappelling, camp fire and barbecuing, tour inside the caverns and many other surprises!
You can drive straight to the skiing area with the ski bus in just 5 minutes. Ski school, fairyland, sports shop and 2 restaurants with sunny patio are located in the Salober valley station. The ski region awaits you with 15 comfortable lifts and 60 km groomed slopes and a wide range of powder snow covered slopes. The clear ski region is very family friendly!
You receive free Bregenz Forest Card in summer if you stay for 3 nights and above. This card allows you free usage of all buses, cable cars, and swimming pools in Bregenz Forest. Furthermore there are wonderful active programs that take place every week - guided hikes, mountain tours and even for little ones that love mountains - children's rock climbing and a mini canyoning tour – everything is included in the Bregenz Forest Card. A highlight for children is the Adventure day, which always takes place on Wednesdays. We leave our sun beds out for you to relax on our lawn.

Ski: The ski area Warth-Schröcken is just 2km away from Rothorn house. Just 5 minutes with the ski bus from house along the slope- free and comfortable! You will receive your ski pass in Rothorn house to get through and start immediately, to avoid any waiting time at the lift stations.
68km of groomed slopes wait for you at the ski area and also 14 lifts and cable cars. Ski lifts are there only in the practise area, all other lifts have been detached, some upgraded with weatherproof cover and chair lifts equipped with seat heater. With an average of 11 metres snowfall quantity, Warth-Schröcken is counted as the snowiest ski resort in Europe! Located above the tree line, there are numerous opportunities for free ride off the slopes. With a variety of offers for ski school, great importance is laid on security issues in open skiing area. Apart from the free ride courses there is info on the snow conditions and avalanche transceiver exercises, to assess and understand the dangers of avalanches better.
