The amazing location and privacy of this property speaks for itself. Located just steps from Rock Creek you can put the coffee on, throw a line in and have a fish on before your first cup.
Sitting on 3.5 acres, surrounded by USFS land, wetlands with an additional spring creek, and mountains, this is your own personal getaway! Whether you are a hard core angler, novice or porch lounger, this property will meet your every need. The pond, located about 50 feet from the front porch, is perfect for young children to try their hand at fishing and fun for the expert to practice that new dry fly. A short hike gets you over to the spring creek to try your luck. And the famed blue ribbon trout stream called Rock Creek needs no description.
The cabin has three porches. The front porch tends to be sunny and looks out over the large yard and pond. The two back porches, one upstairs and one down, sit overlooking Rock Creek and tend to stay in the shade. Large windows allow constant views of the wildlife and surrounding mountains.
Downstairs holds a large laundry/mud room, open kitchen/family room with beautiful gas stove, the master bedroom with queen bed and full bath.
Climb to the loft and you may not want to come down after seeing the view from all directions. Two queen beds and a bunk with queen mattress on bottom and twin on top plus a full bath and small bedroom with a twin bed finish the loft area. We also have three blow up mattresses if extra sleeping space is needed for large groups.
We stock the cabin with many conveniences ranging from basic spices, hand soap, laundry detergent and paper products to shampoo and hair dryers, allowing for lighter bags on those long flights and a faster stop at the market. Dish network, internet, WiFi, and included long distance phone, keep you as connected to the world as you would like to be. Coolers, plastic ware, guide recommendations, we also happily supply. Yard games for the kids, bug catching gear, even bubbles, to name a few more items, make the days enjoyable for all.
Returning guests will find more conveniences this year and see the true beauty of the property as we bring the yard and Cabin to their full potential.

Aileen York purchased this cabin in 2012
Anyone that has stayed here as we did understands exactly why we purchased this property.
Our first stay here - we drove down the driveway, took a deep breath, listened to the silence, then the roar of the creek, and fell in love.
This was our second stay at this Rock Creek property hosted by Aileen York. The house was well maintained, clean, and stocked with all of the essentials that we needed. The location of the property, immediately next to Rock Creek, provided the most relaxing setting for all. We enjoyed the moose eating in the pond in front of the property along with deer that traveled the meadow on a regular basis.
Fishing was the primary focus of the visit along with meeting friends that we had not seen since our previous visit. The fishing was great, the catching slow, but that was expected with the hot weather.
We can't say enough about Eileen and her focus to make us comfortable and insure we had all that we needed. This level of customer service is hard to find.
We can surely recommend this to anyone who wants to be "off the beaten path" and in search of immediate relaxation.
The cabin, location, wildlife and Aileen exceeded expectations. The description and pictures do not do this property justice. I have stayed throughout Montana and this cabin/property was the best. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and completely outfitted for any cooking or household need. We stayed 8 days with 6 men and were more then comfortable the whole stay. The fishing was good right out the back door and the location was perfect for a base camp to fish all of Rock Creek. The property was was secluded and quite with phenomenal views from the decks. We saw moose (daily), deer, eagles, elk and river otters. Aileen was great and made sure to answer any questions or meet any needs we had. You will not be disappointed with this cabin and property.
We really enjoyed our stay at this Rock Creek Property. It was a perfect meeting place for our family. The guys enjoyed the fishing, and with my son's raft they floated right by the back deck! We enjoyed the various wildlife, and the peace and quiet and privacy of the cabin. Aileen was very helpful to work with and had the kitchen well stocked with almost anything you would need.
The boys are already talking about meeting here again next year. A great place to stay!
This was a wonderful place to stay. We couldn't have asked for anything more, thank you
My family and I stayed at Rock Creek Meadows over graduation weekend and had a great stay. The house is beautifully situated right on the creek and comfortably slept 11 guests. We really enjoyed the solitude and scenery. The house is well equipped with everything necessary for a big group. We cooked three meals a day and didn't find ourselves missing anything. We took a trip into Philipsburg for an afternoon, which was a nice and scenic drive. Thanks for the great stay!
We had a great time at the Rock Creek cabin ! Very relaxing and peaceful.......the most enjoyable memories were the sessions of morning coffee and evening wine on the front deck ! Also, great recommendation on Renegade Fly Fishing Outfitters; although we missed the peak of the fishing season, Eric arranged for an all-day float on the Blackfoot where we hooked into some large cut-bows. In fact, our most memorable wildlife experience occurred while cruising the river; we had the unique opportunity to view a rare eagle aerial jousting display right in front of the boat. Fishing the upper reaches of Rock Creek proved to be successful as well where we landed several large browns.
We'll definitely be back and are making plans to return for next fall. Nice visiting with you during your stay and hope you and Sergeant had a safe trip home.
Thanks and will be in touch,
