Available to rent as pied a terre/bolt hole or on a short term or other flexible basis, this brand new ground floor double bedroom with private entrance has a fully furnished 30 m² kitchen/living room and modern bathroom/shower. Located opposite the famous playing fields of St Paul's School in a quiet but pretty central but predominantly residential, area of South-West London, you will have easy access to the centre if that is your goal, but be able to escape. Inside is comfortable roomy and light with WiFi, a Panasonic wall mounted 36' TV, a superking size bed, one sofa bed (standard double) if required, fully equipped kitchen, under floor heating, street parking. Barnes village is a relative haven of civilisation on the River, with lovely pubs and restaurants and a duck pond.

We live on site in the main house. The Coach House is at the foot of our garden sectioned off by a gated fence. We built it in 2009/2010. I work from home as a lawyer.

Wonderful house in London: well served by buses and trains and plenty of pleasant walks nearby
Well looked after and perfectly located. The house is a converted coach house at the bottom of the garden with its own entrance and a very substantial array of kitchen utensils. Also dishwasher, good washing machine with short 29 min cycle. Also iron and ironing board. The owners are a really pleasant family, but we only saw each other occasionally.
Lovely, Cosy Abode in Pretty Barnes
What a lovely find! The little lodge is located to the rear of the owner's property, but one has the feeling of being in a very private space, with a gated courtyard garden, totally separate to the owner's home and space. The owner, Robin, and his assistant, Brita, are very approachable, and thoughtful but greatly respectful of your privacy. We have had such a restful stay. The children have loved sitting and playing outside, and the lodge has been perfect for our needs. If you're looking for a restful, cosy place to stay, in the heart of London, but away from the hustle and bustle of city life, then the pretty, genteel, English village of Barnes and this lovely lodge are most definitely your place!

Excellent stay in Barnes.
The Coach House was very clean and fresh and had everything we needed. We were in close proximity to shops and transport with a bus stopping outside the door. Great, happy stay with any questions answered promptly and helpfully by owner. Wonderful!
Perfect New Year celebration
This is a lovely cottage, thoughtfully designed from an old coach house. It is located in Barnes. Silence at night is amazing. We had no problem going to the central London and we have found many local attractions. For example, I enjoyed Thames Path walks to the Putney Bridge from where Oxford-Cambridge boat rate begins. Apartment is almost perfect. It is modern, clean, has a large kitchen, nice bathroom, good furniture, even the garden and bbq (which we did not use). Robin provides professional and friendly service as well as attention to the details. Highly recommend. GregB
Perfect location, modern accommodation
Convenient location for West End, Kings Cross Station and Barnes.Excellent local bus service outside the front door. Handy for exploring Barnes, with many areas of interest. Fantastic bed! We slept like the proverbial log. Very comfortable accommodation, where we were able to relax and chill out, after busy days out.

This holiday property is accurately represented by its Web site: It was clean, warm, well appointed, surprisingly spacious. The owner was personable and very helpful. Convenient central London location close to amenities and transport. All in all, we recommend it highly and would return.
We are in Barnes, an upmarket little community within 200 metres of the river Thames & 1.6 kms from Hammersmith which is a major urban transport hub. We are separated from Hammersmith by the river and by historic & beautiful Hammersmith Bridge. Hammersmith has all tube lines, so getting to the centre is not a problem and doesn't take much time. Barnes is peaceful and quiet with shops, cafes, pubs and a pond. There is a bus outside the door of the flat to and from Hammersmith every 15 mins. Alternatively you can walk 6 minutes (500 meters) up the road to Hammersmith Bridge where there are buses every minute of the day. We live on site - the flat is at the bottom of our garden beyond a pergola and trellising in a detached building with its own entrance to the street.
