3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with endless mountain and city lights views
About Mark Keiper
I am and East coast transplant who lived in Scottsdale for 14 years. I searched for years in hopes of finding a modern house with expansive mountain views. I realized this dream by waiting for this lot to be released on the market and built the home as my personal oasis. Unfortunately, as life and professional careers change, so do opportunities. I moved from the area to be closer to family but would not give up this house and those amazing views. Now it's your chance to see what I'm raving about!!
Mark Keiper purchased this House in 2001

What makes this House unique
As I think you will, I fell in love with this property due to the unique opportunity to live in a home that feels like a vacation paradise. The peace and quiet of the desert preserve, modern accommodations and incredible views allow you to escape from the more mundane world of everyday life.

Aside from the fantastic views, this home was light, bright, and very comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom was great. We stayed 3 months and loved it. The outside area was nice for a dip in the spool and sitting out at the table for an occasional dinner. We also used the BQ several times. The location is quiet and feels very private. The home is close to the community pool and walking trails. The location in Scottsdale is really convenient. There is a good variety of restaurants nearby, and the closeness of the grocery store is nice. The set up of the home is good, as the 2nd bedroom has it’s own bathroom and walk in closet. That worked well for us. The owner quickly responded
to questions prior to booking and throughout our stay. Everything was well maintained and very clean. I would highly recommend this home for a visit to Scottsdale! Thanks for sharing your home Mark!
Four and a half months of heaven
This is the time where I say - the pictures don't do this home justice. As soon as we walked in, the "feeling" of the place - the openness, the decor, the wonderful rooms - is indescribable. It's in a gated community, which we didn't know, but definitely liked. You definitely need a car at this location, but I think you would anywhere you go in Scottsdale.
We did a lot of hiking right out of the back door - many miles of trails are available. Bring your hiking shoes, and I bought hiking poles to help me traverse the rocky trails in Scottsdale. There is also a wonderful paved trail that goes into and out of the community if you prefer paved hiking/walking. Morning coffee was wonderful with the view, and evening hot tubs watching the sunset were almost daily events. The owner was available and made every effort to make sure we were taken care of when we had suggestions - above and beyond. We were very happy with him. Very important to us - the master bedroom bed was very comfortable. An easy walk to the main pool in the area - great for kids and teens (and us!) Great house to have friends or family come stay for awhile! Sad we couldn't go again this winter, this is exactly the home where we would go.
We had a wonderful stay here for about 8 months. The house was just what we were looking for. It is in a great location, near shops, restaurants and the airport. The neighborhood is lovely and very quiet. The view from the backyard is wonderful. We enjoyed it so much! If you're a wildlife lover you can see lots of quails, roadrunners and even bobcats. On the 4th of July you can watch the fireworks from the patio. The Spool is a lovely addition to the perfect view and a nice cool off on a hot day. We would definitely recommend this property!
