This 2 bedroom, 1 bath Treehouse unit was recently renovated during the summer of 2012. Part of the remodel included adding wood flooring in the kitchen as well as brand new carpet and padding throughout the unit. You'll likely not find another rental in the Treehouse subdivision as bright and comfortable as this one.

Situated in the heart of Wildernest, this Treehouse unit is centrally located within the vast playground of Colorado’s Summit County. Five major ski areas are within close reach: Keystone (10 miles), Copper Mountain (14 miles), Arapahoe Basin (15 miles), Loveland (15 miles) and Breckenridge (18 miles). Vail is just a 40 minute drive as well! All of these areas offer winter and summer activities for the entire family to enjoy.

If skiing, hiking or mountain biking aren’t your thing, why not head down to the lake to relax or visit one of the 100+ name brand manufacturer’s outlets just 2 miles down the hill in Silverthorne? Whatever your preference for activity or adventure, you’ll find it all within a short walk, drive or (free) Summit Stage bus ride!

Now for more specifics on what you can expect from your stay. This unit features a full kitchen with dishwasher and island with eating area for two. A traditional eating area off to the side offers room for 4 more guests to dine comfortably. All eating and cooking ware is included, including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, waffle iron and more! Plus we now have free Wifi Internet service available!

Step into the living room, and plop down on a comfy sectional sofa to relax and share stories from the day’s adventures. An LCD television with DVD and VHS player give you several entertainment choices. Or, if a quiet evening is more in store, hook your iPod up to the stereo iPod dock and chill out in front of a crackling wood burning fire as the snow quietly falls outside.

Off the living room is a nice covered balcony area with views of Red Peak and the Continental Divide. In the summer there’s no better spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Several regular visitors include foxes, stellar jays, and the occasional moose or two. In the winter, the balcony is stocked with firewood for use during your stay.

Our newly renovated bathroom is unlike any other you will find in Treehouse. By some thoughtful design, we were able to expand the bathroom area by almost 80%. An extra deep Kohler tub is surrounded by 18-inch travertine tile and frameless glass shower enclosure. A double mahogany vanity with quartz countertop allow for plenty of room to get ready before heading out for an evening downtown.

The master bedroom is newly furnished with a platform queen bed and ample drawer and closet space. A built-in sink and vanity are an extra convenience included in the master bedroom. The second bedroom is equipped with twin size bunk beds as well as an additional pull out trundle bed for extra sleeping space. It makes an excellent kid’s room, but works equally as well for two adults!

We know there are plenty of choices when looking at where to stay in Summit County. We’ve done a lot to make our unit feel comfy, like home. About Scott

We grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania and moved to Colorado in 2007 after visiting and falling in love with the mountains and the more relaxed pace of life this state has to offer. Since our professions don't allow us to live in the high country full-time, we sought a place to escape to that had that 'mountain town' feel yet could be reached in less than 90 minutes drive from our home on the front range. We purchased our Treehouse unit in early 2011 and have enjoyed it year-round ever since. We hope you find it a convenient and relaxing place to spend your vacation as well!

Why Scott chose Summit County Colorado

We are both avid skiers, hikers, backpackers and kayakers. Buying a property here turned out to be a no-brainer considering, Wildernest, and Summit County in general, offers all of these activities either right out the back door, or very close at hand. It may sound cliche but often we have trouble deciding between these activities on any given day!

What makes this condo unique

We chose this Treehouse Condo because of its central location to several of Colorado's top skiing destinations, Dillon Reservoir and countless trail heads. World class skiing, hiking, biking and golf are truly just minutes away. Don't forget the fantastic shopping deals to be had just down the hill at the outlets!

Beautiful place.

I was very impressed with the property and place. The view was awesome. Could see several different mountains from the rooms and balcony. Everyone in the area was so nice. Easy to get to were every we want to. Either could take a country ride or go thru denver. Hope to visit again. Thanks for the opportunity. A 5 star in my book for next Colorado trip.

Comfortable, inviting, and well-stocked + a great owner

The condo is great. It has a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable couches, great beds, a clean bathroom, and just about anything you'd want in a place to stay while enjoying the mountains. We had plenty of room for some guests to come over and play games in the evening.

Most of the reviews here do a better job than I can of describing how nice the property is. What impressed me most was how accommodating the owner was. We had a few issues come up (not with the condo) and Scott was easy to work with and gracious.

We will definitely return next year when we come up for our annual spring break skiing.

Great Ski Condo

Scott's place in the Wildernest area worked out really well for our group coming out to ski for the weekend. Central location in Summit County makes all of the resorts in the area easily accessible. We all arrived at different times on Friday night so the lockbox set-up was perfect. The well stocked kitchen made cooking easy, we loved the wood fireplace and stock of wood included with the rental and the hot tubs in the clubhouse were awesome after a day of skiing. Only word of warning: parking is tough here at peak season on a Friday/Saturday if you are getting back to the condo anytime after 7-8 pm. Just plan accordingly, it's not a reason to not rent the place because it is a great value for what you get. Thanks Scott!

Three magical weeks around Christmas

Upon entering, you can see the owners did their best to make you feel at home.

The condo was very clean and spacious for five people.

Although it was a very affordable rental for the area, it's modern, comfy,tastefully decorated and looks like the pictures.

The bathroom is new, modern and very beautiful.

The kitchen was well stocked and had many appliances, pots and pans and more, all in good working condition. I especially liked the fast toaster, the unscratched big pan(it's often not the case in rentals) and the grill.

Adding an outdoor director chair allowed us to all eat together around the table.

The couch is huge and comfortable. Being able to enjoy a fire in the chimney with the wood provided made for cozy evenings.

The master bedroom is roomy, well lit and we slept well on the bed. The pillows are on the huge side.

The kids found the beds either too hard or too soft but they slept anyway.

It is easy to regulate the heating temperature.

Coming from a humid environment, we bought and left two humidifiers in the apartment. It helped with our dry noses, especially at night.

The laundry room is a bit far away, especially on snowy days, but it works fine. It has many washing machine and dryers and the price is very reasonable.

The Jacuzzi are hot but much sought after. The pool is just a place for kids to play, it's way too small to swim. There is an exercise room but between the high elevation and the skiing all day, none of us used it. It seemed OK though.

The clubhouse does have lots of arcade games and two pool tables but you have to pay to use them . The only free game is a table tennis table but you need to bring your own paddles and ball( which of course, we had left at home).

The internet is too slow and often just stops. It seems using a very recent laptop or other device helped, but still, even on them, everyday, there were many times when we could not see our mails our browse the web.

There's everything you can need for your shopping around. The skiing/riding was excellent.

Wonderful condo!

We had a great week in Summit County! We had two adults and three kids, and the condo was the perfect size for our family. There are many good updates in the condo, the bathroom is beautiful and the kitchen countertops are very nice. There are so many things to do in the area, we hiked, shopped, swam, and went paddle boarding on Lake Dillon. We would recommend staying here, and hope to come back again sometime!
