Stanley Hills Condo Rental Photos and Description

3 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, with Fireplace condo

This luxurious townhome awaits someone who wants to be pampered. The master bedroom alone houses a wonderful 5 piece master bathroom with soaker tub and walk in shower, as well as a gorgeous two sided river rock fireplace and your own sitting area and private deck. There are hardwood floors and comfortable furnishings for the pleasure of our guests. This lodge inspired townhome has room to sleep 8 with the use of the sleeper sofa, and area to sit 10 for dinner with the use of the breakfast bar. This home is secluded in the trees and is all one level. Moose Lodge has private parking for 1 car in the garage. Guest parking is available in the designated areas on a first come first served basis.

We are within walking distance of downtown Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel. There is a large "open space" next to our complex for your enjoyment. In any season you will find our "Moose Lodge" is your comfortable home away from home.

Gorgeous property! Very spacious and beautiful. Pictures did not do it justice. Even better than we thought it would be. We have a three year old who had plenty of room to play and keep her occupied. We also have three teenagers who loved the house as well. Very clean and modern appliances. Would recommend this property to all people who would need a nice place to stay.

Great Location, Fantastic, and Clean

Very conveniently located to Rocky Mountain National Park. Great hiking and elk viewing. Also close to shopping. Only inconvenient thing was the narrow garage. It was very difficult to unload and even drive in and out. but the rest of the property was excellent. Everything was very clean and conveniently arranged. We enjoyed our stay.

Owner's Response: Thanks for staying at the Moose Lodge. We too love the location of our home and the layout. If you come again feel free to use the guest parking spaces in the parking lot, they are easier to get in and out of if you are not used to our garage.

Excellent Property, nice location, very clean

We had a great stay in EP at this property. Plenty of room and everything we needed. The unit is extremely clean and well suited for families who want to get out and enjoy the area or who want to stay in and relax. This was our first VRBO jaunt and we will definitely be doing it again. Thanks to the owners for maintaining a great rental property!

Wonderful condo/Terrific location

This Estes Park condo was a great vacation rental as it was large, nicely outfitted and very clean. The location was awesome too as it is so close to all of the fun of Estes Par and Rocky Mountain National Park but due to being tucked back up a hill you don't feel like you are staying in a commercialized area. Highly recommended.

Midsummer Estes stay

We had a great time staying in this home in Estes. It is new, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped. It is exactly as advertised, and is close enough to downtown to walk to shopping.

Not up to par

Estes Park and RMNP are very nice places that we would return to. The condo is generally nice as well. However, we would not return to this condo. There were 6 of us (which the owner knew in advance), but we ran out of toilet paper before the week was gone. There are low wattage light bulbs in most lights that make reading in the evening difficult at best. If the 6 of you come in a Mini Cooper, parking will not be a problem. However, for most folks the narrow garage and extremely limited parking could be an issue. The owner attempted to overcharge us for our stay by including the cleaning fee, even though there is no additional fee for a one week stay. He probably still left the additional tax on the cleaning fee when he corrected the charge. There is a security deposit for damages (which you will see in the agreement), which I have not had before in any VRBO stay. Given VRBO sells insurance, the security deposit does not seem to make sense in this situation. The security deposit form is vague as well, and appears to give the owner the opportunity to charge you “for services rendered” when this should be solely related to any damages. The condo already had some gouges in the walls when we got there. You also have to take out the trash and wash the towels before leaving. I’m not a messy person and would never leave a stack of trash, but this owner’s requirement is a bit extreme. Overall the place is overpriced considering these issues. If it was $1,500 a week, it might be okay – but not at the price they want. We had rented another place in Estes Park, but then the owner changed and the new owner did not want to rent the place. We had to scramble to find a new place, which turned out to be this condo at a much higher price than the original place that we had selected. This condo was not originally one that we considered a top choice, but once we had a limited amount of time to pick, there were few choices left.

Owner's Response: I am so very sorry you were not satisfied with your stay. We try very hard to make sure our guests are treated well. The single car garage is available for guest use as well as the additional guest parking spaces in the parking lot. We have to be considerate of the other guests as well as the property owners who are living on site. I would like you to know you were not overcharged for your stay. The cleaning fee and associated taxes were removed from your fee. The cleaning fee was mistakenly on your initial quote; it has to be purposely removed otherwise it automatically is placed on the quote. Please understand that the security deposit is for items not covered by PDP protection. This is almost never needed but it is used to protect our interests. We would never make a charge without trying the insurance first and contacting you. We value our guests and would never violate their trust. We supply enough paper products for guests to get started. We do not restock during their stays. The store is close by for your convenience. It is necessary for guests to dump the trash. The dumpster is in the complex parking lot and it is unsafe to leave trash out due to bears and other animals. We do ask guest to put up a load of towels prior to leaving as it helps keep the cleaning cost down. Once again I am sorry you were disappointed with your stay.
