Elegantly decorated, this third floor unit (#365) includes everything you need for a fantastic vacation. Inside our condo you'll find a computer for your use, a 47' LCD TV with Netflix (paid for by us) and HBO. Beach gear includes chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear, boogie board and deluxe towels.

The kitchen is well equipped- everything you need to cook meals or make snacks. Our Cal King bed has gotten rave reviews from our guests.

This studio unit is among the lowest priced at the Whaler, yet the amenities are unmatched.

Privacy, privacy, privacy.

If you look at the pictures, you'll notice that our condo does not face the central courtyard- no one looks directly into the unit. You can leave the drapes and slider open.

Just like home

We rented this unit for the first time this year and are thrilled with it! After the first day it felt like home😍 The owners have equipped this unit with everything you need, even a playpen !! Kitchen has more appliances than I have at home! So relaxing. Right beside the elevator, laundry and trash chute, but this place is so quiet that is not even a problem. I cannot say enough about the unit or about the ease of renting from the owners. They were sooo reliable and answered our questions ASAP !

A retired travel agent's First Choice at The Whaler.

We have rented several condos at The Whaler and this one was the first studio we rented. Here is why it is our favorite: The owner was easy to communicate with and presented a detailed agreement along with restaurant and sight seeing tips. Instructions to get to the rental were thoughtfully written for those who might be visiting the first time. The price was very reasonable. The space was well decorated and supplied like no other. I love to cook and have most of our meals planned. The kitchen was totally supplied and the ice maker in the fridge did not disappoint. The king bed was very comfortable. Beach chairs, umbrella, towels are in the unit ! No hassle with rentals every day. The lanai has an ocean view -perfect for coffee in the morning. The Whaler has recently updated the pool and made the barbecue areas large enough to hold a small party. We found a steady flow of people using the area every night which made for some unexpected fun ! The unit was supplied with laundry soap ! The FREE laundry was right across the hall. No where on Kaanapali can you get from your room to the pool or beach in less than five minutes. The resort offers a full Aveda salon, spa and a new exercise room. The location is most convenient for a short walk to dining and shopping. Since travel was my business, I am always curious to see the new resorts and did so on this trip. "New" does not trump location. All water sports are HERE. The landscape is complete with koi ponds and lots of lawn. It never feels crowded. The Tiki Bar next door is perfect for the afternoon Mai Tai. There is no better place to stay on Kaanapali Beach. (catch my other reviews on Trip Advisor)

We keep coming back!

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. We came back because we loved our first stay. The owners are wonderful to work with, the property management is awesome. The parking is a dream.

The room is very clean, the bed is extremely comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, just like home. The deck is wonderful because you get shade during the hot sun and a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. We watched the catamarans come and go. Our first visit we got to see whales from the deck. We saved alot of money again because of all the beach goodies they have for you to use. You won't need to rent boogie boards, snorkels, umbrellas, beach chairs, etc... We made good use of them and saved alot of money.

The beach is a walk out the front door. The pool is great for all ages and they actually heat it to a perfect temperature. We've stayed in the hotels next to this condo before we found this place and they are cold!

You don't have to go far for good food if you don't want to cook. Leilani's has something for everyone and make sure you try the coffee mocha moose.

We'll be coming back again and again and again!

Amazing accommodations! I've stayed at various Whaler properties many times before, but this unit (and especially the owner's hospitality and professionalism) tops them all.

The room is very clean with all the cooking utensils one would need, high quality linens, towels, beach chairs, beach mats and more. The room was exactly as described and we have absolutely zero complaints. As the review is entitled, 'amazing.'

We personally recommend this property and cannot wait to return.

Im thankful that I was able to find and book this unit and would not hesitate to return. Renting from the owners was not a worry. We emailed back and forth and I had my questions answered and my worry about sending payment eliminated. The unit was exactly how described. They even had an assortment of books that you could pick from to enjoy at the beach. The beach chairs, mats and towels were all high quality and even had a great beach umbrella. These owners obviously outfitted their condo as if they would be staying in it. it would be difficult to get a better location than this one. So close to everything ( shopping/restaurants) yet quiet. We never had a problem with noise. One of the most beautiful beaches is right outside your door, no need to drive anywhere. Pack up the cooler and chairs, grab a book and go enjoy the perfect location for your holiday.

Location, location, location and the owners are awesome people

The location is perfectly convenient to enjoy Ka'anapali Beach and is smack dab in the middle of the patch of sand between the Hyatt and Black Rock. Whether you are a beach-goer, snorkeler, shopper, schmoozer, foodie, jogger, or whatever, you are steps away from the action. But that you can be a few steps away is also one of the best parts, when it's time for some rest, you just pop back into the air-conditioned oasis on the shady, third floor for some quiet time. Are there light sleepers in your party? No problem. The building is super quiet and you can hardly hear anything from suites around you. If you want to head out for the rest of Lahaina and West Maui it is really easy to get back out on the roads and explore the rest of the island.

It's all the little things too. Nice cutlery, properly sharp knives, spice rack, clean plates, nice towels, fresh linens, laundry soap, snorkel gear, beach cart (YES!), and a pile of other well thought out ideas from people who treat their guests like family. A step above the rest on everything. There's a Dyson vacuum in the closet for crying out loud!! As a fellow Dyson owner I can relate to settling for nothing but the best value. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of Maui.

The best part? Thanks for keeping the rates affordable for regular people instead of making Hawaii a playground for the rich and famous. Loved it.
