About Ralph Kimbrell

Hi, my name is Ralph I am a graduate of the NYS Ranger School, I love the Adirondack Mountains, Forest, and waters. There is somthing magical about the woods, the aroma of pines, the fresh air, the sound of the wind through the forest, the sound of a mountain river. I own and operate Mountain River Properties, and build, sell or lease Cabins in the woods, and sell land also. Come on up and enjoy the pristine setting that the Independence River Cabin offers.

I am also a singer/ songwriter/guitar player and have an album and 2 singles released (on I-tunes and other sites), mostly christian contemporary music. My favorite place to play guitar is with friends around a camp fire.

Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was absolutely perfect. Beautiful! Super Clean. The attention to detail amazing. We had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend. The perfect getaway. The cabin is secluded with a beautiful river behind it. You can enjoy a fire overlooking the river, sitting on the porch reading or great wifi if needed.

There is a Walmart 10 minutes away for anything you might have forgotten.

We loved our stay and can't wait to return in the Fall!

Thank you to Ralph for sharing this beautiful cabin with us!

Wonderful Cabin

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful gem in the woods. The accomadations are top notch. Very comfortable. Better kitchen appliances than home!!! We hit it perfect with the weather. Our hike to Gleasmans Falls was definitely worth it. We were there before the leaves came out. Probably beautiful in the fall. Recommended to all who would enjoy a secluded get away or a place to take the family. Truly a place to enjoy God's creation.

Amazing cabin next to the river!!!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin has everything you need to stay with 4-5 friends around the Adirondack region. The property is really nice and the all the rooms are clean. We decided to bring food and cooked, all utilities worked perfectly for our used. We loved the river next to the cabin, you can hear it just by opening the door. We met Ralph the next day, he was really nice!!!

Had a great stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is everything you see in the pictures. The setting is beautiful, relaxing and adventurous all at the same time. The surrounding area is pristine and private. The river is majestic and soothing. We enjoyed many hiking treks. From the first night with a cozy woodstove fire in the cabin, to the last night a wonderful outdoor camp fire. We highly recommend this cabin for your next getaway. btw: Our dog Luke gives it "thumbs" up too!

Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

The property is beyond beautiful and very well kept. It is nice and quite with only the sound of nature and the river. Every detail of the cabin was carefully thought out and executed. If you want to get away, have fires and relax this is perfect.

Cozy cabin!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was exactly how it was pictured online! Ralph was awesome and stayed on the phone with us when we couldn't find our way to the house due to one of the roads no longer being in service. We got about 18 inches of snow when we were up there and he was on top of plowing the driveway to make sure we could get in and out. Cabin is cute, cozy and clean! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The "Adirondacks"

The Adirondack Park is a publicly protected area encompassing much of the northeastern portion of Upstate New York. Located on the Otter Creek horse trail system ,includes 65 miles of horse trails located on Independence River and Otter Creek State Forest. Located within the Adirondack park. These trails on the state forest are also great hiking trails and cross country ski trails. Trails wind through wooded areas along Adirondack ponds, gently flowing waters like otter, little otter, beaver meadow, chase and crooked creeks, and the independence river and Gleasmans Falls. The Otter Creek State Forest horse stables are 2.5 mies away, and close to many private horse back riding stables.
