Guanacaste Townhome Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedroom in Tropical Gated Complex with Pool, Short Walk to the Beach & Town.

Located in a lush, tropical complex, Pueblo del Mar offers peaceful surroundings while still a short walk to town and the beautiful, sandy Tamarindo Beach.

Within the gated complex is a refreshing pool surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and adjacent to a wonderfully shaded palapa with seating to chat with old friends and make new ones. With just 30 units, these condominiums have a nice mixture of full time and seasonal residents as well as short-term vacationers.

Our fully equipped kitchen comes with a full-sized fridge and stove, small appliances and a wide variety of dishes and utensils to make cooking a pleasure. Tastefully decorated, our air conditioned living/dining room area boasts a large, smart television, complete with cable, internet, and even netflix! The dining table seats 6 comfortably.

Upstairs are the two private bedrooms, each with a double bed, with plenty of closet space to store your stuff. The bathroom is bright and clean with a wonderful, hot & cold shower. Each bedroom also has a dedicated air conditioner for your comfort.

All linens are included, along with weekly housekeeping. Additional housekeeping is available.

Our Property Manager will meet you on your arrival and get you settled in with plenty of information and tips about Tamarindo and the surrounding areas. They can also arrange for a shuttle service to pick you up and drop you off from the airport if you chose not to rent a car…. And in Tamarindo, you really don’t have to!

A 5 minute walk from the complex will get you to the center of town, where you can find banks, groceries, souvenir shops and a variety of restaurants and bars as well as doctors and pharmacies (but we hope you won’t need them!). A few minutes from that, you are on the beautiful, sandy Tamarindo Beach. Also right in town are surf shops, yoga studios, scuba diving, fishing and boating charters and many other activities. You won’t want to leave!

Please contact us for pricing and availability or any questions that you may have about coming to stay with us. We are happy to help!

About John Logan

We are from New Brunswick, Canada and bought this lovely condo to get a break from the long winters in Canada. Skiing is really great fun, but we tend to have a long entry into and exit from winter and what could be better than to sit some of these periods out in the warm and sunny South?

John Logan purchased this townhome in 2012

Why John Logan chose Guanacaste

We have always wanted a place that is warm in the winter but there are so many good ones to chose from, you could spend a life time deciding.

Costa Rica is friendly and safe. We chose Tamarindo because it is far enough north to have a shorter, less severe rainy season than areas to the south and it is a small town that has everything.

What makes this townhome unique

This unit was constructed for the developer of Pueblo del Mar to be his own home and has many extras added.

Very Satisfied!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this property for a week and were quite impressed. Liane, the property manager was very helpful and friendly and she responded to our needs quickly. We had some issues with internet twice near the end of our stay and Liane was quick to provide other options. I would not hesitate to rent this unit again - it was very comfortable, had all of the amenities and was in a great area - we could eat in the many restaurants, or get groceries from 1 of 2 nearby stores and cook on our own; also we were just a short walk from Tamarindo beach and Tamarindo's main strip ... not only that, the property's security guard (on duty at night at the gate) was also very helpful and friendly - all in all, great on all accounts!

Very satisfied...

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the unit for 10 days and were not disappointed. It was very clean. The A/C worked well. There was excellent internet access within the unit. The kitchen was well equipped. The grounds were lovely, with lots of trees. The pool area was thoroughly cleaned each morning. A security guard was on duty every night, so we felt perfectly safe. The neighbours were friendly. Lots of monkeys around. We really enjoyed our time at Pueblo del Mar and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Such a Great Place...

  • 5 of 5

The Pueblo del mar condos is a charming little "neighbourhood". The neighbours were very friendly and informative. I felt very safe and noticed the night security was doing a fantastic job monitoring the "neighbourhood". The unit was very Americanized and had everything to make us feel comfortable. I was especially thrilled about the magic bullet being in the cupboard. The owner of the unit was super fantastic to deal with and you won't be disappointed with this rental.

Quiet and Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

The description of the property is accurate. The photos are accurate. The property is clean and well maintained. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives. The property is equipped with modern appliances. Large refrigerator and freezer combo. Microwave. Toaster. Blender. Coffee maker. Plenty of kitchen utensils. Plates, glasses, silverware, cooking pots and pans, tupperware, etc.. Plenty of bathroom towels. Comfortable and firm beds. Ample closet and drawer space for clothes. Excellent flowing shower. The lower level has plenty of open space. Large kitchen area and seating area. Plasma television with satellite channels. The bedrooms are not large but cozy. The pool area and court yard are inviting. Occasional visits from monkeys in the trees. The best reception for WI-FI is around the pool area. The beach is approximately a 5 block walk but well worth the walk. The beach area is huge and clean. Restaurants as close as 2 blocks away. No need for an auto. Everything is in walking distance. Many restaurants, bars, shops, internet cafes, grocery stores, rental car services, banks, tour services as close as 3 blocks away. It's a quiet town and the people are friendly and helpful. Spanish is the language of the country but you will find plenty of locals who know some English. Pura Vida !!!

2 weeks not enough!!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks in March. We wished we could have stayed longer. The whole condo complex is a nice size, 29 or 30 units. There is a path around the oval shaped complex with a pool and a grass covered hut in the middle.Sometimes its nice to have shade. We met many interesting people that were staying at other condos at the pool and we actually all went out to a dinner theater and rodeo together. This condo is in a great location.Once you are there you do not need a car. You are walking distance to everything , the beach ,grocery stores, bars and great restaurants .The condo is a 2 bedroom. Both bedrooms have airconditioners .The bedrooms are upstairs as well as the bathroom.Downstairs there is an open concept kitchen, dining room ,living room.It also has a/c.The kitchen is fully stocked with as many pots and pans and utensiles that you will ever need. The big dining table can easily seat 6 people. The fridge is full size as is the stove. The blender also comes in handy for making smoothies, you can buy fresh fruit at the farmers market on Saturday .The couch in the living room was also very comfortable to relax in after a hard day in the sun at the beach. There is a tv downstairs and upstairs in one bedroom for those rainy days,we did not have a rainy or even a cloudy day for the 2 weeks we were there. Overall the condo is very clean and comfortable. We look forward to staying here again and would recommend this property to anyone.

Home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I went to Tamarindo to celebrate our 10yr anniversary. We stayed at this condo

for a week and it was very clean, comfortable and felt very safe. It was very modern inside and love the open concept living space. The pool was only a step outside our door and we would enjoy it after a day at the beach which is only a short walk from this condo. At night it was very quiet and had no problems sleeping as the beds were very comfortable also. We would enjoy making our own breakfast every morning as all the kitchen stuff you need is there. There are also many different restaurants/bars ,all within walking distance, that we would go to each night. Shops/bank/grocery were also within walking distance which was great! We are fortunate enough to be able to travel often so we will definitely go back and stay at this great condo again!

Tamarindo has a lot to offer for a small town. It is safe and the locals are friendly and welcome tourists but are not pushing to sell things either. It is a really comfortable, laid-back atmosphere while still offering lots to do, day or night.

There are no big name stores or shopping malls anywhere near here. There are 2 good sized grocery stores within a short walk of the complex offering a variety of fresh and prepared foods and beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. There is a large, North American style grocery store just a short drive away where you can get specialty food items.

In town there are several really good and reasonably priced restaurants, many offering daily food and drink specials. Dozens of restaurants and bars are located right on the beach where you can sit in the shade and watch the gorgeous Tamarindo sunsets.

You can also find many boutique and souvenir shops along the main drag as well as street vendors selling gorgeous wood products, clothing and more!

Tamarindo has plenty of surf shops, yoga studios, and tour companies as well. It is very easy to take a day-trip to see the lusher interior and walk through a rain or cloud forest or even watch the nesting turtles. Several car companies have locations in town for easy pick-up and drop-off if you want to venture out by yourself for a day or two.

Costa Rica has many miles of sandy beaches and are all open to the public with several access points. An easy walk along Tamarindo Beach will take you around the point to Playa Langosta to the South. Or take an inexpensive water taxi across the estuary to the quiet 7 km Playa Grande to the North.

Water sports abound in this region. There is world class surfing for those who are experienced and semi-protected areas for beginners. Fish from the shore, dive for shellfish, or go deep sea fishing on one of the charters. Take an afternoon sail, go snorkeling and watch the sunset from the water. Kayak down the estuary and check out the wildlife. Or simply relax on the beach and take a dip in the ocean.

In and around Taamrindo, you can horseback ride, zip-line, go hiking, play golf, off-road on an ATV, or many other fun-filled activities. You'll have to check your travel book to read all there is to see and do in the Guanacaste province.
