3 Bedroom Home on Golf Course, Walking Distance To Beach
Aloha, our spacious, bright, modern, 2,800 sq. foot bungalow is located in a prestigious, quiet neighborhood. Our home has a spectacular view of the golf course and the mountains. The local beach (Sandy Beach) is just 200 yards away. The house comfortably sleeps 6 people. There are 3 airconditioned bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with an attached family room, and a large open dining and living room with high vaulted celings. There is new furniture throughout.
Our home has a large beautiful garden and lanai complete with patio furniture and BBQ. The lanai looks out onto the local golf course and is the perfect place for coffee and breakfast in the morning and to relax with your choice of beverage at the end of the day. The patio furniture comfortably seats 6 people and there are also 2 reclining lounge chairs.
Away from the crowds of Waikiki, our property is located near some of the best beaches and attractions on the island. The drive from the Honolulu International Airport is around 30 minutes. The Hawaii Kai Golf Course is immediately accessible. Sandy Beach and the Blow Hole are within a short walking distance and Hanauma Bay (a must-see for fish and snorkeling) is 5 minutes away. Other local attractions include Sea Life Park (10 minutes), stunning Waimanalo Beach (10 minutes), Bellows Beach (15 minutes) and Kailua & Lanikai (20 minutes). If you feel the need to visit Waikiki, it is approximatley 25 minutes away.
There are three shopping centers located 5 minutes away with an excellent choice of restaurants, bars, Costco, supermarkets, Starbucks, drugstores, a library, medical center, and a multiplex theatre. There is also a range of water-based activites offered at nearby Koko Marina including snorkeling, kayaking, parasailing and fishing. Hawaii Kai golf course offers a good challenge and has both a full length course and a shorter, executive course. Nearby activities also include fishing, swimming, body surfing, paddle boarding, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, kite flying, hiking, biking and hand gliding. There are also basketball and tennis courts nearby.
Local restaurants include Roys (one of our favourites), Outback Steakhouse, fast food (MacDonalds, Burger King) local food (Zippys, Koa Pancake House, L&L, Yummy Korean BBQ) and bars (the Shack, Kona Brewing Co).

Seabreeze is a family home lovingly maintained for the use of family and friends. It is located on a golf course in one of the most beautiful parts of the Island. South Oahu is a beautiful area with access to some of the finest beaches on the island. Hamauma Bay (strongly recommended for snorkeling and fish viewing), Sandy Beach (body surfing), and the Blow Hole are all on your doorstep. The beaches of Waimanalo, Bellows, Kailua and Lanikai can be reached in between 10 to 30 minutes.

Located in a quiet residential area in walking distance to the beach. Imagine walking on the golf course at dawn and dusk, coffee in hand. Sadly disappointed. House needs TLC
First, I am giving this one star only because Herb the property manager is very nice, and the area is quiet. Second, I'm not really sure why this porperty rated so high. I rent at least twice a year in the islands due to severe food allergies, eating in is a must. Choice is based on reviews. This property is likely the worst.
-Living room: the wall/window facing the golf course must have water damage. There is black mold coming trough the paint, and yellow fungus (mushroom) growing between the carpet and the wall about 3" tall. Thankfully it was very humid which aided in my allergy. The next person may not be so fortunate. The window is so water stained you can hardly see the golf course.
-Kitchen: the grout is filthy, many holes in screens to let mosquitos and bugs in, broken cupboard doors, and very water stained old cabinetry. The coffee filter was never emptied and had mold growing in it. Some small kitchen appliances did not work. Pots/pans were dirty with missing lids. Dishes were dirty, and many of the storage containers did not have matching lids. The morning after we arrived I made Herb aware of the broken cupboard, and recommended this kitchen be gutted. That was the day before we discovered the mold/fungus.
-The bdrms had sand on/in the beds, the 2nd bath had sand in and all around the tub. Master bath toilet screams 24/7.
-Also, many windows do not close. The window cranks are either corroded or the wall tile has moisture in it and bulges to prevent the crank from turning either direction. Many blinds don't close or have missing slats as is the case with the kitchen slider which faces the street.
-Lastly, there are ant traps in alsmost every corner of the floors, windows, and counters. I get "the tropics" but..?
Upfront, David (the owner) was kind enough to reduce our rate to fill a gap in the month. Honestly had I known, I would have booked elsewhere.
Note to renters: Look closely at the photos. There are reasons why there are no bathroom photos.
Herb did mention that the owner was coming to "fix" some items. Truly this house needs a total renovation and a new house cleaner.
I've emailed the owner pictures from our stay who promptly responded with a phone call which was very thoughtful.

I regret that you have stated that you were unhappy with your stay, despite the fact that we spoke on the phone immediately after your visit and you expressed satisfaction with the outcome and commented that you had a great holiday. Most of the issues you noted were a result of series of recent storms which caused flooding in Hawaii and we have subsequently addressed them. We look forward to continuing to welcome new and our many returning guests to our lovely Seabreeze.
Quiet, restful home
We enjoyed the amenities provided, including the well-stocked kitchen, generous sized rooms, and a short walk to Sandy Beach. Herb was outstanding and very responsive as the on-site manager. Some rooms require a little electrical work, but nothing you can't work around. We'd stay there again, given the opportunity.

We are sorry to hear that a few of the hall lights and wall plugs were not operational during your stay. We were not aware that there were any problems - but it appears that a major storm, immediately prior to your arrival, interfered with some of the electrics. Our electrician has fixed these problems so that they will not be an issue for future renters.

A fantastic home in a beautiful location!
This clean, spacious home was the perfect location for our stay in Hawaii to attend our son's wedding. A quiet neighborhood, the beds were comfortable so we could get a very restful sleep after all our daily activities. We made use of the well equipped kitchen for several meals (Costco and Safeway are nearby) on the lanai and enjoyed the views and gorgeous weather. Walked to the nearby beach almost every morning to photograph the amazing sunrise over the ocean. Parking was easy for our rental car and we did make the 20 minute drive to Waikiki with no problem. So nice to have a washer and dryer available. Beach towels were provided by the owners, which we used on our visit to Hanauma Bay. We would definitely stay here again!
Delightful vacation at Seabreeze
Seabreeze nicely accomodated our family of six adults for a 9 day vacation. The location is great, right on a quiet golf course and just a short walk to Sandy Beach where we enjoyed watching surfers while laying in the warm sun. Tidepooling at another adjacent beach was fun. Just down the road we enjoyed great snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. We checked out nearby free attractions like the Koko Crater hike and the amazing botanic garden. Downtown Honolulu and Waikiki are near enough at around 30 minutes drive. This area is a good place to vacation on Oahu away from the crowds, but still close to stores like Costco in Hawaii Kai.
The home has a very spacious master bedroom with a comfortable bed. The connected master bath is large with a big jet tub we didn’t try out. Two smaller bedrooms and a bath down the hall are just OK and could benefit from more clothes hanging space. The kitchen is well equiped and there is a good large propane BBQ grill just out the door. There are many louvered screened windows throughout the house that we left open at night for the breezes and to hear the waves crashing on the beach.
The high ceilings, many windows and white or pastel colors of the main living area and the birdsongs outside gave a very peaceful and comfortable feel. The owner David and manager Herb were very helpful and responsive to our calls, texts, emails and suggestions.
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in our home. We also enjoy many of the activities which you mentioned and love the short walk to the local beaches for early morning coffee, to watch the sunset, and in the winter months, the occasional fluke of a whale.
Your suggestion of additional hanging space in the second bedroom is a good idea. We will add a wardrobe in the second bedroom. Until very recently, there was a walk-in wardrobe in that bedroom which has now become a storage room. The third bedroom has lots of clothes storage space in a 9 foot wide wardrobe.
Within walking distance to sandy beaches. Located close to major attractions including Sandy Beach, Blow Hole, Hanauma Bay, Sea Life Park, Waimanalo and several other swimming beaches, Hawaii Kai Golf Course. Popular walking, jogging, body surfing and cycling area.
