Magnificent sunrises and relaxing evening sunsets.

THE CAPTAINS LOUNGE /ENTERTAINMENT ROOM-The Captain's Lounge features a wet bar and 55 inch TV, comfortable seating and gas fireplace. Casual meals or fine dining are easy with the updated gourmet kitchen. The Captain's Table can accommodate up to 10. The round table in the Lounge can seat up to 8. The spacious s lanai is great for outdoor entertaining.

The Master Bedroom has 2 Queen Beds, 2nd BR has 2 twin beds(extra long) 3rd BR has a Queen bed 4th bedroom Queen pull out sofa. There are 2 and a half baths.

Best of all you can enjoy historic St Augustine without ever worrying about a place to park! Walk to the Castillo de San Marcos, Mission Nombre de Dios, San Marcos Antique District, Visitor Information Center and the St George Street shops and attractions. Great dining, pubs, even community theater is all nearby. Just a short drive to beautiful beaches, Anastasia State Park, The Alligator Farm and so many more natural Florida attractions. Enjoy shopping at the nearby outlet malls, flea market, and several farmer's markets. Great golf courses await your foursome. Less than 2 hours from the Space Center or Orlando attractions.

We live just 3 blocks away in a lovely 2 story home built in the 1850's. We enjoy our sweet city so very much and enjoy walking for dinner or cocktails in one of the many restaurants. We enjoy our tourists and the many events that take place on a daily basis.

This property has great waterfront, the best views in the city. We often visit it ourselves for an evening with friends for wine and cocktails, football games on the 52 inch tv . We vacation there when we do not have guests, we just enjoy it so much!

What makes this house unique

Great dock, kayaks boating, fishing. fabulous views day and night. The house is big enough with enough space for guests to really enjoy even if they just want quiet time.................

All that we hoped for and needed at The Capt's Quarters

St Augustine is a wonderful town and we're so glad we had the opportunity to experience it. The house is a ranch style home on a river with a beautiful view. Plenty of activity on the water of people paddling by and fishing. Nature all around and a short walk to lots of things to see/do. Very quiet at the house you wouldnt even know all this is going on. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We will be back.

Our neighborhood is convenient to everything so everyone can get their wish as to sightseeing, restaurants and of course shopping. The fact that it has awesome water views and views of the city adds to the experience.

Exactly as advertised

We were a group 10 guys who were in town for my brother's bachelor party. The house was exactly as advertised - close proximity to historical sites, downtown bars and restaurants, and in a beautiful neighborhood. The bathroom setup is somewhat quirky but not detrimental and the bedrooms, in addition to fold out couches, easily slept us all comfortably. The dock is the true all star of the property. Patricia was helpful but not overly involved (which is appreciated). I recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable option near downtown (not the beach).

Within walking distance of everything! No need for an auto. Antique district, one block, trolley station, 1 block. Downtown and Castillo de San Marco, 3 blocks, Mission grounds, 1 block. Ripley's Believe it or not 4 blocks.

If you want quiet time, view the wildlife on the marsh, throw the bread to the sea gulls, Be sure to bring your camera. Once in a life time photos can be taken here, including the dolphins and manatees that come to visit along with the the sea turtles. Look up for the storks that land each evening in the pine trees.
