The THREE bedrooms are accessed down a center hallway. Each bedroom is spacious and well-appointed featuring a new queen bed, new high-quality mattress, luxurious high thread-count linens and an air conditioning window unit.

BATHS:

There are TWO full Baths, each professionally redesigned with designer tile and fixtures that exude a timeless elegant feel. The main bath has a luxurious oversized tub. The other bathroom is also redone with designer Ann Sacks tile, Kohler fixtures and a walk-in shower. Bathrooms are stocked with plush Egyptian cotton towels and organic soaps and shampoos.

PARKING:

Your own private driveway that can accommodate 2-3 cars.

KITCHEN AND DINING ROOMS:

The kitchen is designed for cooking with high-end appliances, tile floors, granite counter tops and plenty of cabinet space. It also has its own breakfast nook featuring a designer Noguchi table with Eames chairs.

LA is about living outdoors, and this home offers two balconies and your own private back patio that is perfect for dining and lounging.

AIR AND HEATING

The house has central heating. While there is NO central air, each bedroom has a window unit. Usually, with California weather, no air conditioning is needed, as cross breeze runs through the house . Even in the hottest days of summer, the nights cool down considerably and the window units suffice for keeping the area cool.

I moved to LA from the Midwest in the mid 1990s and have called LA 'home' ever since. Since 2001, I have bought, renovated and rented out historic LA homes and enjoy making your visit to LA memorable and enjoyable. I live in another house in the same neighborhood so I'm a moment away should you need anything at all. I love this home and this neighborhood and work in the area. Outside of caring for this house, I'm a Digital Entertainment Marketing executive and part-time UCLA Instructor. I love this vibrant city and know it inside and out; and I look forward to having you as my guest.

This property is a very special 1920's era duplex that captivated me with its charm, open layout, romantic balconies, wood floors, barrel ceilings and celebrity past. British glam-rock musician, Marc Bolan (T. Rex) lived in this home in the 1970s with his wife, Grammy nominated Gloria Jones - so this home has great vibes! She was the first singer to record the song, Tainted Love.

Layout is very open for a 1920s era home. Very well appointed with 2 balconies and a spacious private back patio dedicated for this unit. You'll also have your own driveway for your car so parking is very convenient, just steps from your front door. You will be living in the entire 1800 sq. foot top floor. Extremely quiet and peaceful street. It's a refuge in the middle of bustling LA.

Lovely place in excellent neighborhood

This apartment is amazing! The space is beautiful and private. Beds are super comfy, kitchen well appointed, and outside space a lovely spot. The neighborhood is really cool andvtgerecare lots of delicious restaurants nearby. We even walked to a few!

Perfect Girls Weekend

Stayed here with a group of 6 girls and it was perfect! Great location and everything was just a cab ride away. Tons of common space to hang out in and lots of counter space and mirrors to get ready in!

It has everything you need

We were so happy here. The apartment is beautiful with character and lots of space. The kitchen has lots of spices and the equipment you need to cook. And of course, it's always great to have laundry. The location is really good, we were fairly close to everything we wanted to see (you have to drive, no matter what, but that's L.A). The neighbourhood is quiet and nice to walk around in. The White Binder of Helpfulness that was left for us is very helpful :) It had all the info we needed. We had a small issue of the light in the entry stairway burning out and my 70 year old mother in law had difficulty climbing the stairs in the dark. I texted the handyman as directed, he answered right away and he was there the next morning to fix it. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property

Our family of 6 just enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with our freshmen college student. We enjoyed homecooked meals using all the cookware and spices already available at the property. There was plenty of space to enjoy movies and dinners with family and friends. The location was close to great shopping and activities. We even enjoyed the early morning drive to Santa Monica pier every day so that our cross country runner could have a beautiful and safe place to run. We would definitely plan to stay at this charming and very well maintained property during our next family gathering in LA.

Great property, easy booking

This property is great. I stayed with a few friends for a quick trip to LA and we loved it here. Holly was super responsive to questions and easy to work with. She gave a few suggestions on what to do and had a binder full of useful information and resources about the stay and things to do in LA. The only reason I give it 4 stars is we weren't able to adjust the temperature in common spaces. There was a thermostat but it didn't seem to work. We didn't bother asking about this since the AC in bedrooms worked just fine and we stayed here in November when evenings are cool.

This is stated in the booklet inside the apartment, and on the VRBO/HomeAway site and on the thermostat itself. I'm sorry it wasn't more clear to you that there is no AC in the common rooms? We do our best to set proper expectations about the apartment to ensure guests know exactly what the apartment offers.

Great home

She tended to our needs and requests . But the neighhbors do complain alot and the police were called while the boys were playing video games in the living room because there was " too much noise " .

Furthermore, she stayed an extra night without paying and booked my property with a stolen credit card ...and I'm now having to pick up the pieces. I'm quite surprised she left a review and perplexed that she would have the audacity to complain about the neighbors. This property is not a party house; it's a serene, stylish refuge on a residential tree-lined street. Neighbors are respectful and friendly... and only complain if a loud party is going on late into the night.

Don't waste time driving! This home is in the center of this very sprawling city so the location is perfect to visit all your destinations.
