Come and experience the true island magic of Anna Maria, one the most un-self-consciously 'hip' islands on the west coast of Florida and one of the few places on earth that offers such peace, serenity and escape from the crowds.
By now you’ve probably heard of Anna Maria Island. And if you haven’t, you will in 5…4…3…2…1 – someone will have mentioned it to you in the time it took to read that. That’s because it’s an uber-fun, absolutely addicting, everyone-who-stays-here-loves-it vacation spot that you just need to know about. You've picked Beach Nest, only 6 houses from the sugar white sand of Gulf of Mexico. Sunsets to die for and dolphin sightings guaranteed! Walk to boutiques, restaurants, ice cream shops or the free trolley. Rent a bike or golf cart and get around the way the locals do!
My husband and I have lived on Anna Maria Island for over a decade. We personally manage everything from securing advance groceries, passing you the keys, making restaurant or bike rental reservations, etc..... until you say good by. We are always available to answer any questions or concerns, give advice or guidance. We look forward to meeting you and yours and helping you have the vacation that memories are made of.

Iris Street is the only north-end and Gulf-side cul-de-sac with a canal. You have the best of all worlds. Privacy, pool, hot tub, water view, kayaking, fishing, quiet, ambience and yet only a three minute walk to one of the prettiest sunset beaches in Florida!
Kayak or walk barefoot along the beach to restaurants, ice-cream and boutiques! Piano, 12 string guitar and telescope plus all the channels you can think of on the television. You'll never be bored!
Thank you for a perfectly beautiful vacation. We loved staying at the Beach Nest. Disney will not be able to out-do the pool, beautifully decorated home and ambience of Anna Maria. We are all sad to leave it behind. We appreciate the work you have put into Beach Nest to make it inviting and relaxing. Here's to coming back again!
As "professional" VRBOers and owning one, we are the toughest critics! Our stay over the holidays was nothing short of spectacular. Not only was Liza helpful and accommodating, but the home was the best equipped we have ever stayed. From the cook's kitchen to the beautifully appointed rooms to the fabulous yard/pool area, our (snobby) group was thoroughly impressed with everything! Three generations and something for everyone - highly recommend!
Wonderful place to connect with old friends. House was clean, great set-up for five adults and short walking distance to the beach. Mattresses were new and comfortable. We spent most of our time in the pool out back. We really had no reason to leave. It was simply the perfect spot for us.
The house was everything we needed! Loved the beach. The beach cart and bikes were such a plus for us! Pool and hot tub aka spa party added to our very relaxing time here on Anna Marie Island. We will be back. Great family home for sure.Loved it!
From the kitchen to the bedrooms to the beautifully landscaped pool, this property was perfect. Also loved the outdoor shower. Close 2 minute walk to beach on the north end of the island. Liza was great to work with, even mailing some items the children had left. Highly recommend for a secluded getaway on Anna Maria!
The house was great and we truly appreciated the hospitality of the host...every detail was thought of to make our trip enjoyable.
The owner Liza provided us with such a wonderful home for our family holiday, we took our two teens and their grandparents!
I was so touched by so many things Liza thought through for us on arrival from the giant cookie ready waiting as we walked through the door ( devoured by all!) together with the wine already cooling in the ice bucket to the availability of a kayak, bikes and touches like dressing gowns and bottles of bath salts with bows:))
I felt like a famous Diva who had called in all her favourite things ahead of arrival!
It's hard adjusting to being back in the UK again!
I could sit on the dockside bench at Beach Nest everyday of my life with my cup of tea and not tire of it.
During my last two days whilst sat there I was joined by a family of manatees and it was just breathtaking filling me with joy. Our one son is a keen school rower so he hopped into the kayak and joined them for a bit too!!! It's indescribable:)))
And with just a short walk to the white sandy beaches on both sides of the Island we were spoilt for views of natural beauty.
From the very start of correspondence with Liza through my enquiry to meeting her during our vacation she was so hospitable and generous. It really is heart warming to book a holiday through someone like her; we seem to have lost quite a bit of the human touch and heart in modern day living, but it was most evident this vacation:)
