Beautiful bay side condo with recent upgrades throughout. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and a large walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and sliding door to the enclosed lanai. Each bedroom has a bathroom. Additionally there are two roll away beds. The screened lanai runs the length of the unit outside the living area and the guest bedroom. It has a bistro table to enjoy breakfast while watching the sunrise over the bay.
The unit has tiled floor throughout, new base moulding and some decorative crown moulding, freshly painted walls, new air conditioning and a new dishwasher. Other amenities include a washer and dryer in the unit, wireless internet, tv, a double long garage, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella, some toys and there is a shelling desk in the garage that I am happy to share.
As for myself, I grew up on the water in a quiet town on the northshore of Long Island. I currently reside in the horse country of New Jersey, but was missing the water terribly until I bought this condo. I have four children ranging in age from 7 to 14. We absolutely love Manasota Key and try to get to Florida as much as we can. We have enjoyed fishing both from the shore and on the local charter boat, shelling and boating, building lots of sand structures and visiting the Mote aquarium. We certainly have our favorite things to do and I am happy to share them with you.

I am very emotionally attached to this property! I have wanted to return to the water since I moved out of my childhood home and this property represents a major change in my life and a major goal achievement. As such, it is not just another rental listing. Sharing the property when I can't be there helps with financing.
I chose Fantasy Island over the other properties on Manasota Key for afew key reasons. First, it is beautifully maintained. The buildings are in great condition, the landscaping is beautiful and the pool is quite new. Second, for it's more intimate size. I enjoy quiet and privacy of this property with fewer units than most other associations. Thirdly, for the wonderful people I have met. My general understanding is that in most condo associations the environment is the residents against the renters. Fantasy Island is not like that. Everyone I have met has been wonderful and welcoming and respectful. My overall experience at Fantasy Island has been much better than expected.
Enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility that is Manasota Key without the noise and bustle of large hotels and resorts. Fantasy Island has a beautiful pool area located directly on the bay. There are boat slips available for guest use with prior arrangements. If you enjoy surf fishing, shelling, swimming in the gulf waters or just relaxing on the beach it is all available with a short walk across the street. If you enjoy cultural activities and shopping Sarasota is a 40 minute ride. Sarasota has numerous shops, museums as well as Mote Aquarium. Manasota Key has safe areas for walking and biking as well as a beautiful natural park Stump Pass which has walking trails as well. If you fancy watching the sunset while enjoying your dinner, both The Gulfview and Lock N Key are within walking distance. Close by (less than 5 miles) there are bait and tackle shops, a charter boats service, boat rentals and kayak rentals. Also located within 5 miles is the Publix grocery store and the Good Times diner which serves a wonderful home cooked breakfast.
If your desire is to make the most of a quiet beach community then Fantasy Island on Manasota Key is a wonderful place to make a home away from home.

This unit has a two week minimum rental. During the high season the rate is $1,800 for two weeks and $3,250 for one month. This does not include tax or cleaning fee. May through November rates are reduced to $1,250 for two weeks and $2,250 for the month.
