There are beautiful high end furnishings and artwork through out: Italian leather couches, stainless steel counter tops, glass back splashes, over sized steel patina sliding door and Italian lighting fixtures. This unique loft accommodates two individuals on one of the highest five star hotel quality king size mattress available, with a foldout bed for a third guest.
Plenty of closet space with beautiful built in custom made maple dressers and desk. Enjoy high end or organic linens, towels and bath products through out with attention to every detail. From our guest John via email:
Upon arrival: "We are here; loft more spectacular than the photos....."
Upon Departure: "Andrew, we are heading out, absolutely perfect visit in your city and we loved the loft..... John x 2"
We enjoyed a great five-day stay at this sleek condo. The unit was thoughtfully appointed and offered everything needed to be comfortable during a stay on any length. We travel frequently, and rent thru Homeaway quite often , so we had high expectations - and Andrew thought of everything. It was in a great location, walkable to many attractions. We did find it easier to drive to town for dinner most nights, especially after hiking all day - and because we had unpredictable weather while we were there.
A very modern and cool loft apartment. Super quiet! Good location. Great parking! Nice amenities and fixtures! The property was really clean. Comfortable bed. The owner was friendly and easily accessible via email. He left us a bottle of wine! Nearby restaurants we liked were Sweetwater Harvest Kitchen, Annapurna's, Second Street Brewery at the Railyard, and Vinaigrette. There are TWO Whole Foods Markets within walking distance. We went to Meow Wolf, which is hard to explain but a very stimulating and rather amazing experience. We did some nice hikes in the area. We had only one very minor issue: the dishwasher water supply was turned off so we could not use the dishwasher. I think this was just a mistake perhaps by a repair person who forgot to turn it back on again. No big deal. I would indeed recommend this property to friends and relatives and we would definitely like to stay there again if we return to Santa Fe.
Good location and quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the property. Design of the loft and very nice ammenities in the condo. Very upscale. We would stay here again. Location required us to take a short drive to downtown Santa Fe instead of walking.
The condo matches the photographs posted in the owner's description. It is tastefully decorated and appointed.
The location is convenient and in a quiet neighborhood. As other guests have posted, there are several excellent restaurants within walking distance. Trader Joe's is a short walk for those guests who don't intend to eat all their meals out. There is a small assortment of basic spices. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans and utensils needed to cook a decent meal.
For those who travel light and are staying for more than a few days, the front loading washer and dryer are a real amenity. There is also an iron and ironing board if needed.
The bed and pillows are very comfortable, actually much better than anticipated. The pillows are feather pillows, not hard foam blocks. They all make for a restful sleep.
I think there's assumption that everyone has a cell phone these days, but one thing not mentioned in other reviews is the lack of a land line for phone service. If you intended to make any calls for restaurant reservations, etc. you'll need to have a cell phone. There's cable tv, and a music player to which you can dock your iPhone if you want to listen to music. The quality of that music player is quiet good.
There's plenty of on site parking. Adjacent tenants are really quiet. In all, a very comfortable accommodation worthy of a repeat visit.
Lastly, the owner leaves a binder that includes information about the condo, recommendations for restaurants, and other very useful information. And that welcoming bottle of wine!
I rent Andrew's loft for a week with my 14 years old boy. It was just perfect!
Perfectly located, appointed and just feeling like Home! Parking is great and it is well manucured with beautiful trees all around the 4 "3 stories" buildings it is composed of.
Very contemporary and all open spaces, it yet offers warmth and privacy. We find it totally relaxing and super quiet.
It is located few minutes walking distance from Trader Joes and Whole food as well as other common stores.
Downtown Santa Fe plaza is just 6 minutes driving or about 18 minutes walking: quite perfect!
And bonus: Andrew's restaurant recommendations are awesome!!
We are already looking at dates to go back!
Andrew's place and hospitality were great for my week stay in Santa Fe for a Santa Fe Photographic Institute course. The location was perfect, the space is large, comfortable and super modern (which is a departure from the standard fair adobe look alike places). Santa Fe is fairly compact in the center, and you can be to almost any location within the core part of the city in 15 minutes or less. Highway access is good and you can be to beautiful scenery and outdoor activities in 30-45 minutes in all directions. Andrew was also helpful with local information which is always appreciated.
