Upon arriving at the property, a feeling of happiness and relaxation sets in immediately. It is a beautiful and comfortable place. It is nestled in a wonderful neighborhood close to town, but very private.
The cottage was a cute little studio. It was perfect for our weekend trip. We walked into town for breakfast and enjoyed a little lunch on the patio. There was even a small Jacuzzi in the back!
Thoroughly enjoyed this perfectly-located and well appointed cottage. We used it as a "hub" to launch our daily adventures to the surrounding wine regions (AVAs) -- coming back each night to dine in Glen Ellen (just a very short walk) and then watch the stars emerge while soaking in the hot tub...with a bottle of something yummy acquired earlier in the day. So, if that's what you're into, Stay Here! :)
We stayed here this past weekend while attending a wedding at Beltane Ranch. The cottage was very well equipped, very quiet and private. We had a lovely stay and I would recommend staying here to anyone.
Gwen was easy to communicate with and we had no problems with access.
The pictures cannot capture the charm of this little cottage. Clean and has everything you need to enjoy a quick getaway in Sonoma. We enjoyed the hot tub after visiting the wineries that are close by. In the mornings we walked to the local market for coffee and breakfast. I will be recommending this to my friends and family and we will certainly return.
Great location, clean and cozy cottage, really liked the ability to walk into Glen Ellen for dinner/drinks/grocery. The cottage was as described and worked well for my wife and I. Enjoyed having a hot tub and being up on the hill on the evenings, away from the road. Only complaints were the neighbors next door reminded us that we were in a residential neighborhood, not as private as we would have liked. Also, compared to other VRBO's we've rented, this one did not have the kind of welcome touchpoints we've experienced in the past. For example, no welcome note in the cottage that provides FAQ of the house such as WIFI code, or how to turn on the AC, wood for the fireplace, etc. No robes to use for the hot tub. Etc.
Jack London Park is very close and has great walking and hiking trails. Morton's Warm Springs Resort is a ten minute drive. It has a swimming pools, hiking trails, sports courts, and picnic areas.
