This home has been recently purchased. Carpets have been steamed cleaned and home re-decorated. We have added a new leather sectional and new dining room set. The spare bedroom has two brand new twin beds that can be converted to a king sized bed.
The Master bedroom has a brand new 32 inch Samsung TV that can play movies from a memory stick or just watch cable tv. A new dresser has been added to the Master bedroom for you to store your clothes. There is also plenty of room in the large walk in closet.
We have purchased a brand new patio set for the back deck that seats six people. A new Weber Genesis BBQ with searing station is waiting for your steaks.
We have also added a new small table and chairs for the front courtyard so you can enjoy your coffee and breakfast as the sun rises.
New artwork has been placed throughout the home.
We have purchased a media tower that can dock with your Iphone, Ipod or Ipad so you can play your favorite music or enjoy local radio stations.
Front room includes a built in media wall with a large TV connected to Cox Communications with a PVR to record your favorite shows while you are out golfing, hiking or shopping.
We also have wired and wireless internet for your computer needs plus a local telephone line that can be converted to add long distance calling requirements.
A second BOSE IPod docking station is available in the home. It has an Ipod attached with over 2000 songs.
The kitchen features all stainless steel appliances, including stove,oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. A toaster oven and coffee pot are also on the counter. We have purchased a new blender and kettle to go with the juicer, food processor, mixer and other small appliances. We have added new wine glasses and water glasses. There is a full set of dishes and cutlery plus all of the utensils for cooking.
The laundry room has a recently purchased Samsung washer and dryer set.
We are in the process of installing Plantation shutters on all windows except the patio door which will have brand new vertical blinds.
Two new plam trees have been planted in the back yard as well as one in the front yard along with an Ocotillo tree.
My wife and I currently reside in Calgary, Alberta Canada. We have family that live in Sun City Grand and hope to be there some day soon as we work towards our retirement.

This area is in the northwest part of Phoenix. While it takes 45 minutes to get from the airport, it has everything you need is within 10 minutes of the house. There is shopping, dining, golf, banking, pharmacy, etc...
You also have easy access to the 303 highway which is currently being expanded. This will take you south towards highway 10 and downtown. The northern leg takes you towards Sedona, Lake Pleasant and other popular sights.
There are 4 fantastic golf courses right in the community plus 3 recreational facilities. There are also several outstanding golf courses within 30 minutes if you want to play elsewhere at any time. Great hiking and sightseeing nearby. 25 minutes from the Arizona Cardinal (Football) and Phoenix Coyotes (Hockey) games.
Arrowhead is also 20 minutes away with several outstanding restaurants and stores such as Costco, and Nordstrom Rack.
It is a beautiful open concept design with a huge kitchen that flows into the dining and living room areas.
The kitchen sits parallel to the living and dining areas which is different from many other models where it is perpendicular. This makes it seems bigger and more open which is great for entertaining family and guests. The nook in the kitchen is off to the side and overlooks the living room. The bar height counter in the kitchen is very long and curves along the dining and living room areas.
The sectional is perfect for watching tv or chatting with people in either the kitchen or dining areas.
The dining room set seats six but can accomodate more if the leaf is added.
The den has a desk with chair and bookshelves and cabinet for file storage.
The master bedroom is very quiet tucked in the back of the house. It is a great place to escape and relax.
The second bedroom is very large for a spare. It has two twin beds that can be used separately or together as a king.
The back deck is very large and gets all of the afternoon sun. Great for entertaining or just sitting back and relaxing. Part of the deck is covered in case it gets too hot outside. Neighbors are nearby but you don't look directly upon anyone to either side. Two palm trees plus an orange and grapefruit tree obscure the neighbors houses to the back of the property. If you look left towards the south, you can see the mountains.
Great night skies with tons of stars out every night. You can sometimes hear the coyotes howling and always have plenty of birds flying around.
The front yard gets all of the morning sun and is a great place to enjoy your coffee and watch the sun rise. A new palm tree will give you a bit of shade later in the morning. There are several types of cacti out front as well.

My wife and I just concluded our annual month (April 2014) in Sun City Grand (10nth consecutive year). We had as usual a wonderful time The home is quite nice. It is spacious, clean and well furnished. Lots of little extras like kitchen appliances and tools, even a lap top computer and printer. The owner was cordial and helpful. Four excellent golf courses and an impressive fitness/pool area for recreation opportunities. Recommend Mastro's in Scottsdale for the best high end steak house I have ever been to. I would definitely recommend this home.
My wife and I rented the property in April, 2013 for a week. We enjoyed our stay. The property was as advertised and photographed, clean, spacious and bright. The owners were readily available and pleasant to deal with. If we were to return to Surprise, we would be prepared to stay at that location again. Russell
We enjoyed february and march at the residence in 2013. Although february had an unusual number of cooler days, we spent time enjoying the large TV and spacious residence. The patio and grill served us well in having our family join us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary at the end of march. Our plan is to return next year, as the owners are very easy to work with. Golf as always is very good there.
Sun City Grand is a perfect area if you enjoy golfing. There are 4 fantastic golf courses right in the community. You can drive to each one on your golf cart or in your vehicle in 5 minutes or less. There are also 3 recreational facilities with many activities right in Sun City Grand. Several stores, restaurants, banks, etc... are within 10-15 minutes of the house
