About Janice Frank

Jeff and I welcome you to our Family Farm. We have lived here in WNC since 1987 and believe we have found a jewel that will be in all our treasured memories Forever!

Janice Frank purchased this farmhouse in 1997

Why Janice Frank chose Asheville Area

This property is one of a kind. After living in Fairview NC and then Candler NC we understood the area and when we drove up to this property we were in awe. This 52 acre farm is a mix of field, pasture and mountain land and is private, quiet, secluded and no one is behind it.

The road dead ends on our property and we have very few neighbors, with fields, pasture and mountain land all around.

What makes this farmhouse unique

When we moved to WNC we had a dream of finding an farm. This home is completely updated with large back porch, front covered porch and upper deck. There is a fish pond and mountain views. There are two barns on the property and a larger pond.

So beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 4 days and it was our best vacation yet. The house was so clean, new appliances, the beds were comfortable and the outside was just awesome. Janice and her husband gave us vegetables from their garden and they were great. We spent most of our time outside with our dogs and relaxing on their back porch. It is close to everything. The Biltmore and downtown Asheville are a short drive away. We are already thinking of coming back again. Thank you for such a nice stay.

We stayed for 3 nights. It was the perfect retreat in the evenings after our daytime activities. Well maintained home, wonderful fire pit and perfect hot tub. Enjoyed cooking on the grill.

Great secluded location, clean and private.

  • 5 of 5

The house was very clean and well stocked. Modern kitchen appliances, washer and dryer. GREAT property with barn, hiking trail and frog pond. Really enjoyed reading on the deck everyday, watching the butterflies and frogs in the pond. Heard owls at night. Cool bamboo patch next to house. Gravel road to house is one lane and kind of bumpy, but we had a jeep and was no problem. Drive to Asheville was pleasant, and also not far from waterfalls, Hendersonville, etc. Highly recommend!

Peaceful and quiet

  • 5 of 5

This home was away from it all, but close enough to everything we wanted to do. The house had plenty of space for us to spread out. The beds were comfortable, the towels were plush and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Janice was friendly and helpful and was available if we needed her, but gave us privacy. We enjoyed the fresh vegetables that were grown on the property.

One con with the house was the birds that didn't realize what a reflection was in the windows. There were 2 or 3 birds that kept hitting into the master bedroom and back bedroom windows starting around 5 a.m. each morning.

A/C for the 2 downstairs bedrooms would have been nice on the 2 hot nights. The third night was cool enough to open the windows.

I would stay here again because it was peaceful.

Great Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and unwind, this is the place. Very very peaceful and quiet. Our 3 small dogs had a good time running around outside as there was no one else around. All the appliances were new and very clean. It's a very nice quaint place. Would highly recommend! Ashville is about 30 minutes away but it's a beautiful drive.

Quaint and Immaculate!

  • 5 of 5

We were hosting a group of business owners for a retreat on our property close by and needed more sleeping space. Janice is very helpful and friendly to work with and the house was perfect for our needs. Excellent beds, very clean and a beautiful property. When asked if our guests liked the house or felt out of touch with the rest of the group, each replied they were thrilled with the property. We will use this rental again two more times this year.
