The home was decorated very nicely and has a good vibe to it. The views are great and lots of cool stuff close by.
However, that being said, the units are very close to one another, so if privacy is important, I would not recommend staying here. You can see guests making breakfast or dinner in their kitchen while you sit on the patio. Additionally, we stayed on the first floor and you could hear everything going on upstairs through the ceiling and upstairs open windows Footsteps, talking, music, etc.. Its not that the other guests were loud, but more to do with design and lack of soundproofing. We could also hear guests using the washer and dryer that was located just outside our bedroom. I called the management company and reported this to them in the morning. I told them we barley slept at all. I asked for a late courtesy check out in the afternoon and even though they had no guests coming in that day they denied my request. If you don't need privacy and can handle the noise stay here, but try to get a second floor unit!
We loved this place! The kitchen was well stocked and had all the amenities necessary to make a gourmet dinner! We even used some of the fresh herbs and vegetables from the garden. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out to the ocean. Glad there was AC as it was pretty warm during the day!
Great contemporary living space, just the right size for a couple. Easy to drive to East Beach or Montecito through back roads to avoid traffic. All amenities were great! Porch was wonderful to sit and eat or hang out. Only issue was the mattress, very soft and not much support.
We are farmer's market foodies and the bungalow is located smack dab in the middle of all central coast markets. The kitchen is a real pleasure to cook in. Beautiful herb garden was a really nice touch.
If the Ace hotel did vacation rentals this is what it would look like. Vintage guitars, cool art and furnishings, and thoughtful amenities. Chic and modern yet still comfortable and welcoming! Highly recommend.
We stayed at this location in September at it was about as advertised. Good location with a view of the pacific. The one thing to note is the refrigerator is dorm size and there is no AC. It did get warm at nite as the bedroom is on east side of condo and airflow is not great unless you open up all the doors and windows. Communication with owner was quite good.
Seaglass Cove (and sister property, Seaglass Lookout, vrbo #393364) is located in the quaint seaside town of Summerland. Summerland is conveniently located literally a stones throw from Montecito and within minutes to Santa Barbara. It has a rare, small town, unspoiled charm in a part of the Golden State so known for tourism, and yet so close to all the attractions of the area. Summerland itself is known for it's clapboard cottages and antique stores, as well as restaurants, unique & stylish clothing and gift boutiques and it's proximatey to the world famous polo fields just down the street. Residents still collect their mail at the central post office while others ride their horses through town from nearby ranches and polo fields, for a run on the beach. Being just off the 101 freeway, it is easily accessible and local Santa Barbarans are often known to getaway for breakfast in one of it's well loved coffee shops and breakfast restaurants, or an afternoon of shopping and wine tasting, or to enjoy the beauty of Summerland's beach side Lookout Park. You will love Summerland's abundance-with-a-small-town-pace and the close proximately to the riches of Santa Barbara and beyond.
