This property is in great condition and was recently remodeled in November 2017. New memory foam sleeper sofa and matching love seat were added, freshly painted, new carpet, and many other refurbishments. Premium location condo that combines a warm mountain feel with modern comforts.

The bedroom has a queen size bed, a 32-inch flat screen TV, and dressers. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo. The den has a memory foam sleeper sofa, matching love seat, 40-inch TV, and gas fireplace. The patio has a full-size gas grill and can be accessed from either the bedroom or the den. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need from a quick lunch to a full home cooked meal.

The thing that makes Trails End superior to other locations in Breckenridge is the combination of its location and comfortable atmosphere. Trails End is located as close as you can get to the ski slopes while still being very close to Historic Breckenridge. This location gives you the opportunity to have lunch in your condo as easily as you could stop at a mountain restaurant. Also, if you are enrolled in ski school, it is located immediately outside the back entrance. Trails End also has an easy walk into town after your days on the slopes.

Other amenities include complimentary WIFI, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, Upper Village pool and clubhouse located across the street, cable television, and on-site coin operated washing and drying machines.

Could have the parking lot scraped after it snows so people don’t slip and fall, but I guess that’s an HOA issue to be addressed

Dallas Area

This unit is very dated.

I'll start by saying I think the bar-b-q is a disaster and unusable. The gas tank has grease all over it and looks like this would be fire hazard. All of the plastic chairs are broken.

The interior needs some help. Sofa smells and needs replacing, along with the rugs. The living room glass sliding door needs new rollers as you can't open the door without struggling and then you can't lock it. This has been going on for years. The blinds are missing some inserts. I fixed about ten of them. The bedroom needs some drapes to block out the outside lights and the sun in the morning. The refrigerator needs some new ice trays as the ones available leak.

I gave it two stars only because the location is great, the kitchen has many utensils,and the hot tub is great.

As far as Trails End, they need to mark the parking places and have the tradesmen park away from the entrances. This unit is on the first floor and the bedroom is right next to a secondary door and you hear the trucks coming and going early in the morning.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your thoughtful response and suggestions and I am sorry for the problems you had. We had been planning to remodel the unit this fall and it may have been below the standard I would normally demand leading up to those remodels. The unit has recently had furniture replaced (including a nicer sleeper sofa and love seat), repainted, new carpet, along with many other smaller improvements.

Great locale, needs TLC

Trails end is a great building. Our unit was inexpensive. I guess you get what you pay for. With some relatively minor fix-ups and a really good cleaning, this place would rank with the best.

Location is perfect!

The location of this unit is perfect. It is really ski-in, ski-out. There are not many units at Breckenridge that can honestly say they are ski-in, ski-out - but this one is. It's nice to not have to use the elevator as well - since it is on the ground floor. The elevator at Trails End is a little slow, so it is definitely a benefit that this is a first floor unit. You are within walking distance to all the restaurants/bars/activities in Breck. We never used our car at all once we got there. Space-wise - it was more than enough room for my husband and I. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, is that the unit could use a little TLC. It's nothing that was overly wrong, just things such as the vertical blinds were missing a few that need to be repaired/fixed, and just general attention to a few "wear and tear" issues that wouldn't take much for the owner to address. Again - not something that would prevent me from renting here again, just full disclosure that the unit is in need of a little love. That being said - we were here to ski and enjoy the beautiful Colorado outdoors - not sit in a perfectly decorated condo, and the location is one of the best on the mountain for enjoying everything that Breck has to offer.

The best location for skiing

The best location for Peak 9 - genuine ski in, ski out. Just one block from Main Street so really easy for meals in the evening.

Apartment is perfect for 2. It is a little tired, but who cares in this location. Our ninth visit to Trails End and we will be back next year - all the way from the UK.

A little disappointed... but not a disaster.

Owner was unresponsive to emails. Received plenty of emails from VRBO HUSTLING OTHER GET AWAYS / spam emails. A little more info for what I was renting would have been helpful. Had no contact numbers for anyone with some information. Was turned away at the door due to not having any info as to how to check in. Was told to go down the street and speak to a company that worked with the owner.

Sliding back door wouldn't open properly, wifi didn't work lack of proper password info. humidifier leaked water couldn't use it. On the good side... place was clean, bed was comfortable, pleasant accommodations for a reasonable rate. Great access to slopes and town. Room is on the first floor facing parking lot.
