About Julie Weed at West Lake Properties

I manage this home for the owners who purchased this home so they could ski during the winter months and play at the beach during the summer months. The beach is walking distance from the Cabin, as well as Sunnyside Restaurant, Firesign Cafe and Sunnyside Market. West Shore Sports has now opened a bike shop in the area as well (during winter it's a ski/board shop).

Julie Weed at West Lake Properties purchased this cabin in 2007

Why Julie Weed at West Lake Properties chose Tahoe City

I love the Tahoe Park area as it has so much to offer with the Lake and Restaurants so close, bike trails and a short distance to Tahoe City. Location Location Location!!

What makes this cabin unique

This Old Tahoe home has such great ambiance with it's knotty pine interiors, yet recently updated to enjoy all the comforts of today's needs.

Sugar Pine Perfection!

  • 5 of 5

This was our family's first summer vacation in Tahoe. Everything that we were hoping to do happened because of Sugar Pine's convenient location, well-stocked kitchen and selection of board games.

Just a 2 minute bike ride to the beach, we were able to dash down at the end of the busy day and float on our tubes while enjoying the breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. No hassle, no traffic; just pure relaxation! Sugar Pine is close enough to Tahoe City that we were able to complete our grocery store runs and dinners out on two wheels instead of 4. We loved leaving the car behind! Our grade schoolers were even able to ride their bikes all the way to Squaw, since the bike trails are safe and flat.

The new high ropes course, just a few miles down the road, provided us many thrills. Sand Harbor, with its beautiful boulders, sandy beaches and Tahoe Shakespeare's production of "A Midsummer's Night Dream" was a highlight of our trip. It was just a short drive away along the shoreline.

I am not sure who enjoyed the two-night long games of Monopoly and Risk more, the winners (the kids) or the losers (Mom and Dad). We were a loud, laughing bunch. Good thing that Sugar Pine's walls are thick!

We want to thank Sugar Pine's owners for providing such a wonderful escape for our family!
