We had a great time, the house is super nice, super clean, and everything is label so this made everything nice and easy.
I definitely recommend this house! GREAT HOUSE
Our family gathered from all over the country for a wedding in Breckenridge and we decided to see some more of beautiful Colorado. We picked this location because we have family in Aspen and Basalt, we wanted to go fly fishing (which was excellent), see the Maroon Bells (amazing), spend time in Aspen (excellent dinner at Mezzaluna) and visit the Hot Springs in Glenwood (relaxing). We really wished we could have stayed at this beautiful home for longer than the very short 2 days we were there. It is a modern home with all the comforts you could ever ask for and more. We had 10 people and we had rooms we didn't even use. We had a big dinner with our family from town and we had so much space to enjoy our company. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat.
Wow! Great house. I would highly recommend this home to my friends and family. I hope to stay there again soon!
Anyone looking to have an absolutely BEAUTIFUL place to sleep, host dinners, and have a little fun, this is the gem for you to call "home" during your vacation. The owners provided excellent instructions and left a gracious welcoming gift of wine and chocolates for us to enjoy upon our arrival. The home was incredibly clean and well-maintained, it offered an enormous kitchen for hosting (one that would rival a chef's home kitchen), and had a great game room for entertainment (air hockey anyone?)...not to mention all of the spacious bedrooms which offered a bathroom either within or just near (very convenient). It has an amazing view as well...there's a hot tub, fire places to cozy up to in a couple of lovely living rooms, I could go on and on...the place is simply stunning. Location is wonderful...just ten to fifteen minutes from any shopping, fishing, golfing, spas, restaurants, etc. you would plan for. I would recommend staying here to anyone interested in taking time to enjoy the beautiful Colorado mountains and all they have to offer! You will be thoroughly pleased at your stay!
This was my first time using HomeAway, and I was extremely pleased with my experience. Peter was very responsive to my emails leading up to our visit and very quick to respond via text when I had questions during our stay. We arrived a little early on check-in day, and Peter was at the house double-checking that all was in place for our visit. He was even so sweet to leave us a few bottles of wine and a bowl of chocolates - a nice surprise :). The home is *beautiful*, very clean, and was a perfect get-together setting for our small family wedding in Aspen over the 4th of July. Everything we needed was readily available and there was ample space for everyone to mingle. We could have fit twice as many people in the home - it's huge! I wish we had had more time to really enjoy the pool, community facilities, fireplace, hot tub, outdoor deck - we could easily have stayed here a few more days to relax post-wedding. I would definitely recommend staying here for any large family or friend gathering - you won't be disappointed. It's convenience to Carbondale, Basalt and Aspen can't be beat. Thanks again, Peter!
This is an absolutely incredible home. Our stay included myself and 13 other guests who each had plenty of room within the home. As others have said, the pictures do not do it justice. Unfortunately due to the time of our arrival we were unable to meet Peter, but his help and wealth of information both before and throughout the stay was spectacular. Had we run into any issues he was only a phone call away, and was always prompt when we had a question. The home was perfect upon arrival and was even better than we expected. It took a little while to explore the house as it is much larger than it seems. The location was perfect for our memorial day getaway as it is fairly close to some scenic Colorado hikes such as Maroon Bells and Hanging lake which are absolutely breathtaking. There are plenty of restaurants and stores near the home to include a whole foods which made cooking/eating at the home even easier. The neighborhood that the house lies within is quiet, absolutely gorgeous, and filled with many friendly people as well. We were able to use every amenity in the home such as the hot-tub with ease as it was all easily accessible and preset to our stay. Our entire group was able to grill on the back porch and lounge around the fire pit in the evenings. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Carbondale area, then this is the perfect home for larger groups. We are looking forward to another stay (hopefully in the near future). Thanks again Peter!
