This landmark home sits on a large corner lot surrounded with a beautifully landscaped private hedge around the outside perimeter. Large desert trees help to create a park like setting with picnic table on raised sandstone platform in front yard. We use that area to stargaze.
Within the stucco fenced area surrounding the house, is a totally private patio area on the west side that is shaded and surround by a wall of desert plants, creating a privacy screen. We have placed two tables that could seat a total of 10 people, alongside a tile counter top work area, with sink. There are 3 arcadia doors in the back of the house that lead to a large connected patio area with a BBQ and side table. The master bedroom patio has a futon couch for afternoon naps, and two rocking chairs. Gardens lights front and back.
Rear of house has a second driveway for class A RV unit, with full hookup. Double gates open directly to rear street. 2 Car garage with extra wide front driveway. Automatic garage door opener with lots of garage shelving and storage.
3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 King beds and 1 Queen, also one twin convertible sofa by fireplace.. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
Also: RV onsite has a King Bed.
There is a vaulted ceiling in living room/dining room area, as well as master bedroom. A Wet Bar with extended counters w/ two swivel barstools, is adjacent to living room. Marble surround gas fireplace in living room.

We love California and go to DHS for our health and enjoyment. We love the mountains and beautiful views, especially the city lights.

We knew that Desert Hot Springs is a spa town and is famous for its natural hot mineral waters with therapeutic, healing properties. We love soaking in the waters and both feel it has helped us so much, that we decided to buy a house in this area, especially after attending the Annual Desert Hot Springs Spa Tour 2012 that is held the first weekend in February, where we found more spas we love, all close by.
We sit outside mornings and evening and watch the quail run across the street and hear so many bird songs, that it feels like being in the country. It's nice to have a large corner lot with beautiful mountain views on three side and the city lights at night.
I really like the neighborhood, great walking area, you can walk into the hills, very safe, with panoramic views. The house is newly remodeled and perfectly appointed. There were more dishes and appliances than I would normally find in a rental from my prior experiences. I drove to the beach in 1.5 hours and and it has good freeway access to all of So. Calif. Very comfortable. I would stay there again.
