Just a 5 minute walk to Public transport and two stop to North Station in down town Boston. Ideal commuting location. Great neighborhood, with fun local restaurants, bars, pubs, and 5 min walk to Assembly Row Shopping dining and theater. Kitchens have all the essentials, to make you feel at home. It is such a gorgeous building in a wonderful location. We love the neighborhood restaurants and bars and saw an opportunity to restore a classic beauty. We rehabbed but saved and showcased some of the most appealing elements such as the marble stairway and entrance, exposed brick walls in many apartments, and period details. We rent out a few units on furnished short term basis.
The building is just a few minutes from the T stop for easy access, to all of Boston. Restaurants and shopping walking distance as well. Great neighborhood!
Our first official VRBO rental, we were so nervous.....John and Glenn went out of their way to answer any questions prior, honor our original quote and help with anything we needed during our stay. Very sweet neighborhood. Clean, modern and convenient, this is a catch. If you are going to stay in Boston, STAY HERE! Laundry downstairs, kitchen new and clean, bedding was cozy. We truly felt like we were HOME! On top of that lots of things close by including a great breakfast spot with the best coffee and food. I love Somerville! Only a 10-12 min drive to the city (we used Uber primarily but also rented a car) as well as easy travel. We went to 5 of the 6 England States!!!! This place is a perfect location! I am happy to be home, but this little part of our life has a place in my heart forever. Best vacation we have ever had and we can't thank John and Glenn enough for this! THANK YOU!!!!!

We were so pleased that we bought a few small things to leave behind for the next guests. It was a charming space, and it had the most comfortable bed and couch. We were happy to be able to cook our meals, do our laundry, and have peace and quiet. So pleased with our find. Thank you!!!
I am an Aussie relocating to the states ended up staying in the unit for around 6 weeks
Unit had everything I needed to be comfortable and good location to be able to commute to the city for work
And also to head further out looking for longer term places to live.
John made every effort to accomodate my requirements and took a genuine interest in my move
And help where he could ..

Excellent stay. The building is charming, and the apartment clean, modern, spacious, light-filled and very comfortable. There is off-street parking, and the building is close to the T to Boston and buses to Cambridge. There is a manager in the building (a window shade broken during my stay was replaced the next morning).
One particular detail I liked was full payment up front. Others may not like this policy, but I appreciated not having to carry an envelope of cash for the balance of payment on arrival, or having to wait for the return of a security deposit. It was very convenient.
John and Glenn obviously take a great deal of pride in their building and service. I would gladly stay again.

First visit to Boston and this apartment was perfect for it. Very close to the T line and easy to get to from the airport. The apartment was very clean, bright, quiet and contained everything we needed. Minor downside was the strength of the wifi, very patchy at times.
This property is two blocks from Boston line, on quiet tree lined street, one block from great restaurants, Assembly Row shopping area, Movie theater. There is parking at the door, but there is no need for a car. The T stop is a 5 minute walk, and Down town Boston is 2 stops. Walk to groceries, etc. The building is gorgeous historic structure with bow front windows, and lots charm. The apartment is well equipped, and very sunny. One and two bed options. 10 min to Downtown Boston on quiet tree lined street.
